“I was very impressed with the accommodation provided by Jones Villas which had all the facilities important for a family holiday. Namely, air conditioning, free internet, a large pool, beautiful veranda overlooking the pool and safe onsite parking. As we have two girls, the bathroom is important and is a modern one with power shower and good backlit mirror. This is our second visit to la torre, and we loved it, the apartment is ideally situated, 2minutes from the centre, overlooking a fantastic pool, and great views of the golf course. You have everything you need on the resort, and the welcome pack came in very handy.
Overall we had a very relaxing holiday, and would certainly returning the future.

Lovely apartment in a lovely setting. We all settled into this peaceful (even though it was the height of summer) resort. The apartment was clean, had all the mod cons and made a perfect base for our trip. It was definitely good value for money. The resort is very beautiful and the apartment overlooks a fantastic pool. Were missing it already even though we only came home yesterday! Would certainly recommend to others.

The apartment was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was excellent onto a lovely pool, golf course and the resort hotel. The apartment was close to the town centre and supermarket. Beautiful view from both bedrooms also. An excellent holiday would consider staying here again.

La Torre is ideally placed for exploring the local area or just relaxing by the pool. Even if you are not a golfer, the resort impresses with its range of facilities, security and cleanliness. The apartment itself is very comfortable and has all the facilities one has come to expect.

Our stay was most memorable and for all the right reasons.
The property description is very accurate. The property itself is immaculate and in one of the best areas of the resort. The views of the pool, town centre, 2nd fairway, 5* Intercontinental Hotel can be enjoyed from the balcony and is just amazing.
Even though both myself and my partner are not golfers it made no difference to our stay as the resort was beautifully kept. Both my Father and Grandfather are golfers and still cannot stop talking how fantastic the greens are and the friendliness of staff, they cannot do enough for you.
The owner was only too happy to provide a residents form which provided residents rates to play golf which added to the value for money.
We are looking forward to our next stay and just hope the apartment is available in 2012 as we will be recommending friends and family to take the opportunity to enjoy this amazing property and resort.
Both myself and my partner have travelled the world, including Mexico, Hawaii and Fiji to name a few and the pool area are to die for at this resort - certainly one of the best we have experienced.
Thank you to the owner for making the booking and our family holiday one of the best holidays we have ever experienced.

Just read latest review of this property and disappointed to read that the AC unit was not working. Not sure when the last reviewer stayed in the apartment but we stayed at the apartment 1st 2 weeks July and air conditioning wasnt working and reported to property manager. Upon my return I contacted owner to report unit was not working for the whole of our vacation. I really hope this situation is resolved as I booked the apartment due to the fact it had air conditioning.

the property itself was good , but a bit crowded for 6 people. short of cupboard space. dinning space had a table with only 4 chairs. the outside table had only 4 chairs. no air conditioning. was told it was getting repaired (not )was then told we had to pay e60 for the cleaner shoud have been told before we booked no clean sheets all week no towel change with instrutions not to wash them the best part of the complex was the pool .it was the best pool i have ever seen, in all my 29 years of holidays.

We had a wonderful time at La Torre. The apartment was just perfect and the pool was amazing. Its a very sensible pool as in the fact that it is all one depth which suited me and my mother in law as we are only little. My 20 month old daugther loved the childrens pool, again another sensible part of the pool.
The weather was fabulous - never really dro pped below 32 degrees. The only thing I would say is that its a little too quiet (but I liked that because thats what I went for) a nice relaxing break and thats what I got. All in all we were all very pleased and would definitely recommend to people with families.

Resort spotlessly clean. Apartment centrally positioned making access to centre and supermarket very accessible (10 min walk max). Apartment clean and accommodates 6 comfortably. Pool in front of apartment has various levels with the deepest area being 1.4m.

We arrived early hours of the morning and it was no trouble for the manager/s who met us at a convenient spot, and directed us to the apartment. They were very patient in waiting for us as we had got slightly lost. So a big thank you to them. Free welcome pack was a nice gesture, especially as we arrived late.
Apartment, lovely, clean, and modern, and as everything you could need from an holiday apartment. Overlooking the pool was great, and as the pool is very large, you had plenty of private space, which we like.
The location itself, if you know the area, is good, and you can get to the local beaches in about 20 minutes by car, but if you just want to chill on the La Torre site it is sufficient. We found a few of the restaurants were closed, but there is again enough to go to, and they have some brilliant Indian restaurants close by, do not be put of by them being near to an industrial site! The Alambra was fantastic, excellent cuisine. Overall, a good time with my partner, definately a place to recharge your batteries. Thank you again to the managers who were so helpful.

Loved it, very nice appartment and lovely people living on the development, made loads of friends. At first we struggled with places to go to eat and to visit but after speaking to people we found out near to the end of our week that there was loads to see and visit and places to eat. There was a file containing menus and appartment details but not any useful information places of interest, eating places, markets and market days and reviews of them which we would have found great. If I had any complaints at all it would have been this but definately not the appartment and its location because it is quite near to everywhere if you know where youre looking for. I would like to take this opportunity Darren to thank you once again for our lovely holiday.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us use your apartment for our annual holiday this year. My family had a fantastic time, and our two daughters pretty much lived in the swimming pool the whole time!
Everything was perfect, and the welcome package left in the fridge for us was amazingly good, and saved us the hassle of having to go shopping Immediately on arrival.
We will definitely be looking to book your fine property again very soon.

The property it self was fine it was clean and presentable the balcony hadnt been swept and was very sandy the pool was the best part as you can go in any time and stay in until when every you pleased .If you love golf you would have a fab time but if you wanted to do anything else you would definately have to have a car because it is in the middle of no where and you cant walk anywhere. The air con in the apartment lecked which was very annoying and it is a definate must as it is very hot where the resort is situated.The sky which was advertised wasnt working so limited to free view channels only. Sunbeds around the pool were owned by each apartment we wasnt told about this and only found out when a resident came out and told us to move, which wasnt pleasent. And our sunbeds were less than adequate. The food on site was well over priced and with a family would have cost a fortune the BEST place to eat was a chinese off the service road five mintue drive from the apartmaent which was great food and brilliant value for money and very friendly. The supermarket was well equipped and most things were the same price as back home. The apartment was rather small and would suit a smaller number of people or those without small children.The holiday was fine but i wouldnt go back!

We agree that anyone seeking ‘quality accommodation’ with golfing activities & so much nearby couldn’t wish for more. In our exacting description of this property, we explain that further exploration of the surrounding area is best appreciated utilising public or private transport and we note that you also agree. We have sought professional advice regarding the Air Conditioning unit and have been advised that these units should be utilised to maintain a comfortable ambient temperature only while persons are present in an accommodation and excessive or prolonged use may eventually lead to a unit producing a slight residue of moisture. For our added surety, we have had the unit checked and no faults are found. Our local property managers have assured us that Sky is operational at the property and a full & simple to follow user guide to operation is in place. As mentioned in the property details, you do need to bring a valid Sky viewing card to receive more that the free-to-air channels. We are also assured that sun beds are appropriately placed for the benefit of our guests. We sympathise with your comments regarding some of the higher quality restaurants in closer proximity to this property. As most are aware, the pound doesn’t have quite the same purchasing power it has enjoyed in previous years. We believe that the exceptional value we offer for your accommodation at least goes someway to offsetting this. We are pleased you were still able to discover local eateries that suited your budget & tastes. It is noted that you found the local supermarket ‘well equipped’ and also good value. We are very pleased that your party of six had a ‘fine holiday’ in our property. I thought I should write to say how much we enjoyed our 10 day stay at your apartment in La Torre.
The apartment was excellent. It was clean and well equipped and in one of the best locations on the La Torre complex. The pool was spotlessly clean, and we saw pool attendants almost every day doing some sort of cleaning and maintenance on it.
The golf course is excellent, offering a good test for competent golfers but with numerous extra tees which would make it enjoyable for higher handicaps.
The kitchen had everything needed to prepare good meals and the on site supermarket had most of the food that we wanted. We used the restaurants in the La Torre ‘town centre’ and they were excellent and reasonably priced.
I hope we will be able to return later in the year.

In August 2008 we visited La Torre Resort just me, my wife and 16 year old daughter. A year later in August 2009 we returned with my in-laws as well. It was the perfect setting for them as all the facilities are in walking distance.
We’ve been to many places abroad with them however this by far was their favourite. My mother-in-law even went for a swim in the pool which has never happened before as the water’s particularly warm in August.
We were even more impressed with the security the second time especially with the introduction of wrist bands for the pool, especially with the regular checkups not only within our lot of apartments but the apartments around us as well. These prevented anyone not living or renting an apartment from using the pool.
Every night we would take our time strolling across the golf-course to the wide variety of restaurants and try something different. Once again the food was gorgeous and the scenery was sublime. However a restaurant we would highly recommend would be the Chinese buffet down the dirt-track just outside the resort, it is perfect for a light lunch or even an evening meal.
The apartment was exceptionally clean when we arrived and well stocked on information on the sites and activities around the resort. As always the weather was hot, with beautiful rays of sunshine, though over lunch being in the air-conditioned apartment was always a good idea.
Over all the resort is fantastic and the information supplied both on the Jones Villas website and within the apartment is second to none. It gets a 5* rating from me and my family and we strongly recommend you try it for yourselves firsthand. Booth Family, Manchester.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was very clean and had everything in it that made our stay comfortable and very enjoyable.
We found the location excellent for our needs, and were able to travel around with ease. The restaurants on the complex were good and so easy to walk to, to enable us both to have a glass of wine without the worry of having to drive.
We shall certainly consider staying again, and would recommend it to our friends and family.

In August 2008 we visited La Torre Resort and stayed with Jones Villas. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need to feel at home, such as an average sized kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer (perfect for keeping your beer cold on a hot day). The lounge has everything you need to relax or keep the younger generation occupied with a flat screen TV with satellite channels, it also has a high tech DVD player equipped with surround sound perfect for using on a lazy day, or having late night cuddles on the couch.
The pool was well maintained and cleaned on a regular basis. Even though we went in peak season the pool was never too busy and there was always space to find to put your lounger down and catch some rays, or just have a quick dip to cool off.
The on-site supermarket was reasonably priced and within walking distance from the apartment. Considering some of the prices found in the top of the range stores, the one on-site was more than reasonable and had as much variety. Fresh bread was available for you to buy each morning and again at lunch which is a treat as no-one likes stale bread for there lunch.
After a lovely stroll to one of the amazing restaurants over the golf-course, there was nothing like coming back to the apartment and sitting on the balcony, looking over the spectacular view of the lit pool and the sprinklers watering the golf course. As the water from the sprinklers catches the light the effect is simply breathe taking and sends you too sleep with pleasant dreams.
We were extremely impressed with the pack supplied in the apartment telling you about the vast amount of activities surrounding the resort. It was especially helpful to know that you need to pre-book your tables within the restaurant on-site due to them being highly popular and booking up fast.
However, we do recommend that if you are to go to the apartment and do want to explore the surrounding area you would need to higher a car, as there’s much to see and visit nearby.
It was a fabulous experience and we are looking forward to returning August 2009 with our elderly in-laws, as we know there are plenty of facilities for them and they will have easy access, due to the lift being right outside the apartments’ door.

The apartment was excellent very clean with all mod cons, great view over the golf course and an excellent pool outside the apartment which made it so handy. Really enjoyed the facilities the complex offered. Weather was great and we met some nice people (some were residents who gave us a few tips on places to go) Would recommend the Chinese buffet down the service road.
Would recommend a car as there are some great places to visit, would recommend Los Alcazares (great beach and restaurants) also San Pedro for the Monday market, quality of food was fantastic.
Quality of the golf course was fantastic and is a good test for any level of golfer.
Really enjoyed the holiday and thanks for letting us use your excellent apartment.

Hi Guys,
Many thanks, we had a great time at your apartment in La Torre. The weather was a bit dodgy on a couple of days (to be expected in October, I suppose), but we had hired a car so went to Murcia and Cartagena to their new out of town shopping centres which were great.
We ate at most of the restaurants in the town centre and had a fantastic curry just down the road on the industrial estate! There was also a huge Chinese restaurant which had just opened and did a Wok Buffet which was great value at only 8.95 euros.
On the sunny days we spent some time around the pool, which was nice and quiet and really made the most of the midday sun. The pool was a bit chilly but fine if you kept moving. The view from the apartment is really cool and you can see the town centre (great when lit up at night), the golf course and, of course, the pool – again which also looks great when it’s lit up at night. The new Intercontinental hotel is really coming along well and I can’t wait to come back to this apartment once it is completed to try out its facilities – by that I mean its bars!!! We heard that Woody Allen was going to be playing at the hotel on New Year’s Eve, but I don’t know how true this is.
Exceptional apartment and will definitely book again.

Although we didnt make use of the dishwasher and washing machine, it was nice to know they where there amongst all the other home comforts. Self catering can be a nightmare right at the start for various reasons but as everything was there including a welcome pack, wehad no problem settling in for the first night.
My only adverse comment would be the lack of shade (although what do you expect it is Spain after all) around the pool area. Need to be careful with this.
Transfer time to site was great and the instructions to get there lead you right to the gates. You just dont need hassle at the start of a holiday - leave that to the kids!

We thought the apartment was fantastic with great views across the complex. There was superb access to the swimming pool which was quiet with brilliant facilities for little children.
The patio area was spot on as at the hottest part of the day it was shaded and in the evenings the sun was on the patio so we could enjoy a drink and relax.
It was a great place and Melanie did a great job at meeting and greeting us. We were well looked after I would love to have another week in your apartment at a later date.

would recommend you hire a car. whilst on site facilities are enough to keep you occupied for a week, there is no on site pharmacy or tobacconist.
Duty free shop at Murcia airport also dont sell tobacco.
Taxi fares we were quoted (30euros to nearest town -Roldan) which is only 10 mins by car, but a long way to walk, seemed expensive.

The apartment and the surroundings were excellent. The whole site was very clean and met everyones needs. I would however say I was disappointed at the lack of public transport near to the site as we did not have a hire car so could not get out to see the countryside or go into Murcia. The other complaint was that when booking I was told the site had a gym and spa which did not materialise as the hotel was not finished. As a non golfer these facilities mean a lot to me and I had to look for something else to do while the others were golfing.

Polaris World Travel offer free shuttle bus services from La Torre to 3 other Polaris World resorts where further facilities can be enjoyed, including, gym’s, spa’s, retail outlets et al. These services operate throughout the day and up until midnight. Another evening bus service has recently begun between La Torre and the local town of Roldan. We hope this additional information will further improve our guests experience whilst staying in La Torre and yours when you return.

I can’t get over how friendly everyone seems in the La Torre resort. It has a very nice feel to it and although you can expect the staff to be polite, and they are, it feels like everyone you meet has a smile on their face.
The apartment was finished to a very high standard and had all the mod cons you would need – microwave, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, washing machine etc. The view from the balcony was simply stunning; firstly you looked over the swimming pool which was child friendly with a shallow side just for kids, then came the second fairway where you could watch golfers all day if you wanted. Then there is the town centre where all the bars and restaurants are. The apartment was in a great location being about 5 minutes walk away. We loved the Italian restaurant so much we ended up there three times during our stay. They have great food, good service and are very reasonable. The Chill Out bar was a nice alternative although it had a limited menu. If you want to eat off the resort then there’s a great Indian restaurant at the local industrial estate which is a couple of minutes drive away. The on site supermarket was a surprise and only a 10 minute walk away. I was expecting it to be expensive and very limited but in fact the prices were very much in line with some of the larger well known supermarkets we visited in the area, and the selection of fresh food on offer was excellent. They also always seemed to have up to date English newspapers and magazines for sale.
