Lovely clean, looked after house with all the essentials making staying there very enjoyable and easy. We had a 3 year old with us and he felt comfortable and safe. There are also lots of play areas and childrens pools a few minutes walk from the property. The hotel pool isnt suitable for kids though. The property has 2 roof decks which are perfect for sun bathing or enjoying the warm evenings. There are some restaurants in the town which cater for all needs and a lovely bar. If you go with children, there is a music class twice a week which our little boy enjoyed. We dont play golf but still enjoyed the resort which is quiet, clean and the golf area gives you some lovely views. If you venture out, there are some great beaches nearby and do visit the zoo where you can feed the animals.

Lovely accommodation, but be aware the top steps can get slippy.

The property has a lovely location and the roof top views and hot tub were amazing. The owner resolved any concerns I had promptly after notifying him which I really appreciate as I have had several poor experiences. Ā The booking process and access to the villa was well organised. Ā A lot better then previous bookings I have made. Ā Thank you.Ā

Wonderful villa close to beaches, towns, airport etc. but you ideally need a car. On lovely gated grounds with a reasonable supermarket, pubs and restaurants. The villa itself was very clean and modern with tv and internet access. Also the fantastic hot tub - my hubby and I were in it most afternoons watching the golfers! Beware wet feet on the tiled floors though as you could easily fall.
Overall a fantastic holiday, especially as the sun was scorching for the time of year. Many thanks.

The first thing to note is that the house has an excellent position within the resort, with a fine view out over the golf course and the lake, and of the mountains in the distance. Sunrises and sunsets viewed from the comfort of the jacuzzi on the top floor balcony can be spectacular, and are particularly recommended! We arrived to find the house spotlessly clean, and very comfortably but simply furnished. The owner obviously cares about the property, and it shows it makes such a change to rent somewhere which is uncluttered and thus easy to live in, and with excellent briefing notes on how to get there, how everything works, etc. We are not golfers, so really we were using the property as a place to relax, swim, read and do our own everyday cooking, and it suited us perfectly for this. Our thanks to the owner, and we would definitely recommend this property.

The property provided a lovely view, overlooking the golf course and lake.
The stairs maybe a problem for very young children (spiral staircase).
The facilities provided are appropriate for a self catering holiday.
We all had a very relaxing time.

We have stayed here before and when we needed a place to stay at short notice we didnt hesitate to return here again. Beautiful decor, stunning view (the photos dont do it justice), hot roof Jacuzzi, free Internet, and great keyholders and owner. What more can you ask?

The Villa was amazing, modern & clean in a fantastic location. Communication with the owner before was superb & the keyholders Ian & Christine are the nicest most helpful couple you could ever wish to meet.
The resort is fantastic with security on the gates & patrolling the resort. It has a great supermarket selec tion of bars & restaurants. The Villa is beautiful & we would not hesitate to go back again. It overlooks the lake & if you sit in the hot tub you can laugh at the people playing glof badly.
Wonderful I would advise any one to stay here

The property is very well situated, adequately equipped and very close to the nearest pool, just a few minutes stroll away.
When the shutters were open, the villa was light and airy. With stunning views, it was nice to sit on the terrace in the evening watching the sunset. As the weather was so hot, it was a relief when the terrace shaded over in the late afternoon / early evening.
On the downside, we did feel that the property had not been used for sometime and is in desperate need of some TLC.
It was not as clean as expected and we did not have an contact from anyone apart from a reply to my email providing us with the key code for entry.
Owner reply:
Thank you for your kind words that the property was *āwell situated, light and airy ⦠stunning viewsā* and more.
Whilst I do state in the guide to contact me with any concerns, we can now guarantee that the keyholder is one of the best, and always does a fantastic job of cleaning. Your concerns have been forwarded, however we assume by ācleanā you refer to the slightly worn walls. *Since your stay the property has been repainted inside and now looks spotlessly clean and brand new!*
You are provided a key code for your convenience, and that is all you need to enter, rather than having to coordinate meeting someone to open the door for you. The vast majority of people prefer this, however it is hard to please everyone. But thank you for your feedback! :)

What can we say that hasnt already been said - this is a magnificent, contemporary villa, the view is to die for, and the hot tub is the cherry literally on top. We spent the hot days exploring the many pools on the resort, and the cool evenings lying in the hot tub looking over the moonlit lake and up at the stars. We found the restaurants to be excellent value for money, especially Bamboo by Gingko. The nearest beach was a 10 minute drive and had lots of space on it. This property is highly recommended to all.

We felt that the accommodation provided very good value for money and was well maintained. The food package that was provided upon arrival was well received, as the supermarket on site closes early on Sundays (our day or arrival). The villa is very well situated with a beautiful view of the golf course from both the balcony and the roof deck. La Torre itself is a pleasant and picturesque resort, with more than adequate swimming facilities. My one criticism of the resort however is that it is quite expensive for a family to dine out (around 24 euros per person).
A car is essential to explore the area, with local towns being around 20 minutes drive away.
All in all, I would definitely recommend the villa to family and friends and would hope to visit again.

As described, some very nice touches including DVD player and sat box. Very helpful and responsive owner. Great location overlooking the 16th hole which has a large lake. Will be spectacular in the summer.

What a beautiful property and a lovely holiday. We were really sad to leave. The new hot tub is a blessing, either looking over the lake in the day, or up at the stars on the cooler nights - yet youre still 37-degrees. The access to WiFi was a surprisingly welcome freebie, as was the welcome pack that greeted us with our favourite foods. The AirCon works a treat on the hotter days. We had nobody either side of us as the resort is quiet and peaceful, and I would say this property is ideally located to the swimming pool just a few moments walk away, and the shops and town centre - not too near (as there is a noisy club) but not too far. We are all so glad we chose Casa Maria and will be visiting again as soon as we can. Highly recommended!

We arrived well after midnight and the property was ready for our arrival which was good as we had two small grumpy children with us. The villa was just as described - very comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The standard blackout blinds are ideal for those with small children or those who like dark rooms to sleep in. The villa is in a very quiet part of the resort with very little resort traffic passing by and no noise at all from the small service road the over side of the perimeter fence. The swimming pool was less than 5 minutes walk away and is superb. All the pools on the site are excellent with childrens pools. Overall the resort is very comfortble - very clean, quiet and the perfect base for a holiday. The villa is excellent and I have already recommended to our friends. The only thing I would say is that a car is a necessity unless you are content with the facitlities on the resort which would be considered as perfectly adequate but would get a bit groundhog day if you stayed for longer than a week (in my opinion) However a car will give you access to some excellent towns, beaches and shopping. And the weather was excellent! thanks very much.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Casa Maria in August. The Resort has everything on site and it is only 30 minutes from the beach. The apartment was ideal for a family of four and the facilities at La Torre are excellent. If you are looking for a quiet location with easy access to pools, restaurants etc this resort is ideal

The only problem we had was with the air conditionning in the bedroom which worked intermittently
Owner reply:
We are pleased you did not have any other problems, and from speaking to you we know you had a fantastic holiday otherwise. The AirCon has been fully tested and it appears that this intermittence was by design and down to operation settings. I.e. it will turn off when it reaches the desired temperature. We have had no other reports of similar problems, and the property has been let all summer. Thanks for your booking and we hope to welcome you back again soon.

A very pleasant townhouse beautifully situated near the lake and the 16th green on the golf course. Options for taking some quite time in the sun or partial shade excellent. Loads of outdoor furniture.
Perhaps a 15 minute stagger back from the supermarket, restaurants and bars but a quiet stroll in nice surroundings. Had all that you would require whilst on holiday and decent decor & furnishings.
Wireless internet worked perfectly and the only slight disappointment was that my own SKY card did not enable me to watch premium channels as suggested, although it did increase the number of available channels, but then again I had not gone there to watch TV.
Overall a very nice property which I have no hesitation in recommending it and would revisit it myself if available on my dates.
I had occasion to contact the owner prior to arriving with a slight change in my plans and he was very helpful.
The free welcome pack was much appreciated and this is something other owners should consider to assist boosting their rentals.
Many thanks for a lovely stay.

EXCELLENT PROPERY AND THE OWNER WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD. THE HOUSE IS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND THE RESORT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED TO EXPLORE THE WHOLE AREA.

This is a lovely property overlooking the golf course and lake. We were disappointed that the air conditioning did not work in the first floor bedroom with temperatures of 30 plus. However, the owner did provide a fan and arrange for the unit to be replaced. He also offered to put us up in the Intercontinental at Mar Menor. We are happy to report that the air con is now fixed.

We only stayed for two days but the resort is fantastic and we didn't want to leave. The golf course is looking excellent especially from the terrace with a G&T in your hand.
We would recomend this resort as a warm friendly enviroment and are definitly going to come back for longer next time.

Fantastic town house, with lovely views over the golf course, we found it very comfortable and clean. The town house had everything to enable us to have a lovely holiday.

the property itself was absolutely lovely with great views over the golf course. It's a bit of a walk to the nearest pool and club house but that's not a big problem. The resort itself is very nice but still has some building activity going on. Resort location is good with easy access to local towns of Murcia, Cartagena, Alicante. Great location in terms of airport as it's only 20 minutes away. Overall an excellent location and if you're looking for quality accommodation in quiet and relaxed surroundings then this is it. Bring your golf clubs as fees are very reasonable !
