The apartment is very well located being close to all of the main bars, restaurants and shops/supermarket. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The apartment itself is on the top floor of a three storey development and benefits from having both a balcony and a roof top solarium with seating. We stayed with two teenagers and we were able to have some privacy as one of the bedrooms is located on the top floor with its own bathroom.
The communal pool is a short two minute walk away and was big enough for all users during the time we were there. We carried down fold up chairs as all the area is concrete and this worked well for us.
One slight problem we experienced was getting into the apartment and it was clear that the external gated door had been fitted the wrong way round which made it difficult to open with the key.
Other than this minor irritation, we did enjoy staying in the apartment and we would certainly consider staying there again which in itself is a good recommendation.

Stayed at the apartment in August 2010 and had a lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed, including toys and balls left by the owner.
The were six of us, two grandparents, myself and my wife and our two young children 2 and 5 and the apartment was the perfect size.
La Zenia is a lovely place with a wonderful local beach that is very popular with the Spanish and has a great reputation. The beach was about a 10min walk away.
A main supermarket is less than a 2 minute walk and there are a handful of resturants and bars within a 2 minute walk and a more commercial bar area less than 15 minute walk.
Great base to explore nearby towns such as elche and alicante with local buses running inbetween.
Would stay again and recommend.

Fantastic location. Lovely clean, tidy accommodation, very comfortable beds which was a blessing! We were the entertainment for most of the other residents when we arrived and couldnt open the front grill/door - after about 10 mins someone shouted out how to open it and we finally got in!! Great supermarket across the road to get lots of cheap wine from! 15 mins walk to the lovely beach. We got taxi in to Cabo Roig most evenings which cost about 5 Euros each way but well worth it for the lovely restaurants (can easily be walked). Would recommend and definately stay at this apartment if we go back to this part of Spain again. Very good communication with the owner who also arranged our transfer from the airport for us.

Very pleasant, clean, well-maintained apartment within 10-minute walk to a beautiful beach. Nice terraza for outdoor meals. Supermarket a couple of minutes walk from the building and more shopping a short car ride away. Friendly, accommodating owner really enjoyed ourselves.

This apartment was well situated, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and there are quite a few local pubs and restaurants to choose from, supermarket just across the park, as we didnt have a car its was perfect as we could walk everywhere. The pool on site was very clean and the apartment well maintained, communal stairways were wash down every couple of days, air con in the apartment was a great. We went to the water park (aquapolis) had a great day. Would certainly book again.

apartment was excellent home from home had everything you needed . There was six of us and we had plenty of room with the two bathrooms .
Air con was great a must for me especialy for me i cant sleep without it .The only thing i can say against the property is was that there was too many nick nacks/ orniments/pictures/ a bit cluttered on that sense, but that is a very small moan . all in all we loved it ! The area was quite quiet which for the first week was great just to wind down but you need to hire a car to get about to see more places which we did had a great time and weather was amazing !! we would definately go again.

A very homely apartment with all mod cons. This apartment is situated close to many restaurants and is only a five minute walk from the beach

The apartment was nice, well equipped and fairly roomy. The air conditioning required the emptying of 2 large buckets of water each morning which quickly became a pain in the ass. This was a top floor apartment with several flights of steep stairs, not recommended for the unfit or elderly. The apartment was reasonably located in La Zenia. Fairly close to the beach, a 10-15 minute walk. Although there are some shops, restaurants etc. in the immediate vicinity, the main nightlife areas are just outside a comfortable walking distance and a car is recommended. The local taxi and bus service was poor. Getting traveller's cheques exchanged was difficult as there were no Exchange Bureau's nearby. One bank did exchange them but had a small daily limit and would only change them between 9-11 am. To add Insult upon injury, they also charged an exorbitant fee for this service. However, there were loads of cash dispensing machines in the area, so I would recommend you forget travellers cheques and use your cards.

Totally met with out expectations and was ideal for children. the apartment was fully equiped with absolutly everything one would need eg. kitchen items and plenty of bed linen and towels and was a real home from home. Also beautifully kept and spotlessly clean. The area surrounding the property isn't what one would call touristy but had everything we required for a great holiday, ie. good reasonably priced restraunts within a short walk away and a huge supermarket just across from the apartments. The beaches were just a short walk from the apartment and all the ones we visted were lovely with climbing frames etc for the kids actually on the beaches and above all very clean.

The standard of the property was excellent with all mod-cons at your disposal. It is situated in an ideal position, very close to shops and bars, a five minute walk from the beautiful beaches of La Zenia and Playa De Capitan. I would recommend the property highly and I will definetly stay there again myself.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A good location for visiting the local towns beahes and golf courses. We also found the neighbors very friendly and helpful. The beach at La Zenia which is the nearest is a very good beach for all ages and is in walking distance.Shops and restaurents localy are very good. Ideal location for families.

Property was spacious having the third bedroom located on upper floor, with its own bathroom. We had all the facilities nearby which includes restaurants, internet facility, bank, pubs and cafes and a large supermarket (Consum)which was useful for getting in the bits you need on your first day. The apartment had ceiling fans in every room which was great as it was so hot AND air conditioning in lounge and master bedroom! The apartment was well furnished having everything you could need during your stay and felt very homely and lived in. The apartment is well situated with Cabo Roig just 5 mins away (5 euros in taxi) and the main town of Torreveija just 15 mins in the opposite direction (15 euros in taxi). La Zenia beach (a short stroll away) is fantastic having not one but 2 beach bars! which unlike other beaches nearby was on a flat so no steps to climb up/down.
