Very spacious, and excellently equipped. The villa was very clean the decor was very tasteful. The pool was immaculate, however it was a little overlooked, but that didnt deter us from having a brilliant time. The hill is a bit steep to walk up, but I would recommend this villa.

A fantastic Holiday had by all. The Villa is spotlessly clean and well decorated. Everything you could possibly need is available in the villa. English Sky TV, as well. The only downside is the location, but if your hiring a car then its the perfect place. We are already looking into hiring the Villa again next year..

We (4 not too senior citizens) spent 15 days here Sept/Oct. A beautiful, clean, tastefully attired and containing absolutely everything you ever need for your holiday, villa. We spent quite a lot of time relaxing round the pool but found that our hire car was a necessity for us. Dave came to meet us as we left the N332 to guide us to our destination, we rang him once during our stay and he came to bid us farewell when we left. Always pleasant and happy to help. Booking was a painfree, well organised process with Eileen the owner very friendly and approachable. A thoroughly enjoyable experience all round.

We stayed at Casa Davleen for the second time this year. There are four of us, my husband, myself and our two daughters aged 18 and 15. Once again we had a fab time just chilling out around the pool. This villa has absoloutly everything you need for a comfortable holiday, including plenty of towels. It is very clean. The first time we stayed here we hired a car but this time we didnt as we hadnt used it much last time. We were picked up from the airport by Dave (one half of the couple who look after the property) who took us to the supermarket on the way to the villa for our shopping. The villa is situated up a very steep hill, so getting to the supermarket and bars etc is no problem, but walking back up is a bit of an effort and certainly keeps you fit.. We went down twice every day, once for the shopping and once to eat out in the evenings. There are a reasonable selec tion of bars and restaurants at the bottom of the hill, some of which had free wifi which was very popular with our girls. It is possible to walk into Rojales (about half hour walk) which offers a more Spanish experience. Taxis seem to be non-existent but Dave will take you where you want to go by pre-arrangement. We will be visiting again, and I dont hesitate to recommend this villa.

Had an amazing holiday, villa is lovely and has everything needed to enjoy your stay. Pool is a suntrap which was idea for half our group but there is always a little shaded area so ideal for the little one to play with her toys. Pre warned of hill before went but it is shocker but managed it at least twice day with a buggy so can be done. Lovely pubs and restaurants at the bottom which we visited alot, local shop also very reasonable. We didnt hire a car and managed just fine walking around even to the arches and dave gave us a lift further a field which was lovely for trips out. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone or for future holidays for myself.

Well what can we say except "Perfect" The Villa was all it said and more the people were friendly and the restaurants were plenty dont think we ate a bad meal out at all. Steak fish and chips even a curry house were all great and as for the english breakfasts in the 9th hole was excellent lol Dave and Sue were brilliant what a lovely couple anything you need to know just ask nothing was to much trouble to them. communication before we left with Eileen the owner again wasnt to much trouble for her lovely lady. we had a bad travelling start arrived a day late and a bad journey home 5 days late , but you know what, the two weeks we spent in the villa was worth it Best holiday weve ever had.

We have just come back from a fantastic week here and have to agree with a previous review that this villa certainly has the wow factor! It had everything and more to meet our needs. Villa was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Communication from Eileen was perfect and Dave and Sue couldnt have been more helpful from running us down to the supermarket, taking and picking us up from the beach one day (we had to force ourselves away from the lovely pool at the villa!) to looking after our suitcases on our last day as we had a late flight home. PERFECT holiday and HIGHLY recommend staying here. Many thanks Eileen and Dave.

We stayed at the villa at the end of May 2012 and had a brilliant holiday. The town has everything you need and there is plenty to do nearby if you have children, also there are many golf courses. Received a lot of help from Eileen before we went on holiday and also help from Dave and Sue (who look after the villa) while on holiday which is very useful. Would recommend a car as the area is very hilly. Villa was spotless when we arrived and the welcome pack is very useful. Would definitly be back. Thank you for letting us stay in your villa.

This was the first time that we had stayed in Villa and we are totally converted, Eileen the owner keeps you in the picture totally with emergency telephone numbers, contacts whilst you are there, which I found really helpful, numbers if anything goes wrong etc etc, everything you could possibly think of, she was also on the end of the phone 24/7 if you had an enquiry, on arrival we found the Villa absolutely spotless, ample room for two adults, two teenagers, the description was spot on, there is everything you could want in the villa, its home from home, we didnt feel the need to go out in the evenings, we just chilled drank ice cold beer and enjoyed the surroundings!! Would definately recommend to a friend without hesitation. Only suggestion to get you about during the day ie markets, local beach, shopping etc, you will need transport, luckily we had Eileens housekeepeer who is more than happy to take wherever you need to go!! (he will also shop for you before you arrive, so on arrival, no need to shop!! Happy days!! On our return we will hire a car, only because there is so much to see. A great holiday had by all! Thank you Eileen and Dave x

got back last week from the villa. this was my fourth visit and am already booked for the summer. this is th best place i have ever stayed in and have not left the villa once as it has everything i need for a great holiday. i want to say a big thankyou to eileen the owner who changed her personal arragements when my children booked the wrong dates ( it was a christmas gift) if she hadnt changed her plans i wouldnt have been able to go. i also want to say what a great couple dave ans sue are. when we arrived he took us shopping, already had our pre-ordered beers in the fridge, and when the weather turned unusually cold they even lent us their fire. this is a great place,a great holiday and great people. bring on the summer holiday

Property is exactly as presented, good value for money. Communication with owner pleasant. Pool and garden are not huge, but layout is smart, having an en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom is a big plus as well. House is well-maintained without being impersonal. We rented a car, but I can imagine that without transport the distance to shops etc might be a problem. But thats about the only negative.

We have just returned from a week’s stay at Casa Davleen. My husband and I were a bit dubious about booking a holiday this way as we normally book through travel agents but decided to take the risk as we wanted totally relaxation without the hustle and bustle of other holiday makers. The booking system was very efficient with excellent communication from both Villa renters and the owner of the villa so we were re-assured that the booking was safe. Eileen who owns the villa was an absolute pleasure and gave us all the possible information that we would need to ensure our stay was comfortable. Eileen managed to accommodate every request without hesitation even down to arranging an extra single bed into the double room for my 3 year old to sleep. I was fully informed of all important and helpful details regarding our stay. The villa is beautiful, extremely equipped probably more so than the average household, very clean, bright, comfortable and stylish. We considered the villa extremely good value for money and exceeded our expectations. We got more for our money than we have done in the past when visiting holiday resorts and will honestly not be returning to resorts again, Villa’s are the way forward….. It has a fantastic pool, plenty of sun loungers, floats etc. The surrounding patio and private garden is well maintained and some areas capture the sun and shade so the choice is yours. Dave and Sue who look after the Villa for Eileen were also a fantastic help and made our stay more comfortable. The couple were happy to help with anything and were just at the end of the phone. My only comment I would make which has no impact on the villa is that if you plan to go out I would definitely recommend that you hire a car or speak to Dave and Sue to arrange trips out, they are cheaper than the local taxi’s. The hill is very steep, it is ok if you are relatively fit but trying to go up and down with children is a bit of a challenge, especially when they expect you to carry them up!!! Jack and Gill comes to mind….. On the whole, we had an absolute fantastic time and would certainly recommend this property for a lovely relaxing break. The service you will get from start to end is outstanding, we will definitely book again. I would like to thank Eileen, Dave,Sue and Villa renters for all their help Love Sam, Liam & Niall

I stayed at Casa Davleen with my husband and two teenage daughters for a week in Aug 2011. The booking system was straight-forward and efficient and due to excellent communication from both Villarenters and the owner of the villa, I was fully informed of all important and helpful details regarding our stay. The villa is beautiful, very well equiped, very clean, comfortable and stylish. The pool and outside areas are private and well maintained and there are plenty of sun loungers and outdoor seating. Its possible to enjoy sun or shade at any time of the day. We had a fab time and would certainly recommend this property for a lovely relaxing break.

We booked the villa for a relaxing week. All our expectations were met. From arriving at the airport and being collected by the very friendly Dave, we had a fabolous week. The villa had everything and more we could have required. Every thing you could think that you would need was supplied. We made great use of the very clean pool, the inflatables that were supplied and even went home with no dirty washing, thanks to the washing machine supplied. I am in no way technical so the operating instructions for air cond, cooker, washer and tv were greatly appriciated. The villa was spotlesley clean and really did feel like a home from home. We read lots oof boooks that were supplied, listened to the cds supplied and played the games. This villa is ideal for familes with young children and adults. Many Thanks to Eileen for allowing us the use of her home. We will defianley be visiting again. The holiday was every thing we could of hoped for and more. Please say a massive thank you to Dave. He was great. From Sarah, Billie and Aimee.

Overall, nice property. However, I found the water of the pool quite cold and you could only dip in on very, very hot days. Another let down was the fact that our pool was not cleaned during our week stay, even though we were promised that it would get cleaned midweek.

returned from the villa and had the best holiday ever! The villa is beautiful and so well maintained. my children had a wonderful time in the pool and it was made safe for my younger child by lockable gates around the pool area. when we arrived the travel cot was all set up for us and there was two bottles of wine which we really enjoyed, thanks!! I would recommend this villa to anyone. The supermarket was fab as it had everything we needed and was only a five mins away. The day before we were due to come home Eileens sister visited to inform us that if we were unable to fly (with the ash cloud airport disruptions), we were welcome to stay an extra few days which i thought was really nice. Well, where do we start, we are really fussy about where we stay. We own a 4 star bed and breakfast and really look hard for nice places to stay when we manage to get away. This villa totally met all our expectations, it was tastefully decorated and spotless. Everything was in good working order, not even a lightbulb out... you know what its like sometimes. What made this villa stand out from the crowd was the attention to detail. The owners have thought of everything. (I mean everything). When we arrived, it was around 11pm and Mark let us in, really nice guy. There were 2 complimentary bottles of wine and lovely crystal glasses. There were even straws for the kids drinks... every utensil under the sun in the kitchen and a welcome pack of milk, butter, bread and OJ. On our flight over, our daughter (14) realised she had forgotten her retainers...device to keep teeth in place after wearing braces... very important...., Mark let us use his post box and my mum sent them over, he went out of his way to help. Fabulous. Dave and Eileen the owners, happened to be in the area for a short break and took time out from their holiday to say hello which was lovely. Really nice couple. Villa has ceiling fans and aircon. Freesat tv, lots of mags and books to read, lots of hangers, 3 hairdryers, like I said thought of everything. Even british adaptors, we didnt need to use ours at all. Outside, 4 really cumfy sun beds, and tables and chairs with parasols. Washing line and pegs. We used it everyday. Quesada on the whole is a really lovely locality with loads of places to eat and drink. However, a car is definately needed unless your Sir Edmund Hillary (not the guy that makes blinds)....lol. It is very hilly, but the closest supermarket and eating places are only 7 minutes walk downhill. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill has lots of British products to make you feel at home. We ate twice at the old 9th..bottom of hill which was good food. The other times we went futher down into Quesada. Had a wonderful chinese on 2 occassions in the Nan Kin (thanks for the recommendation Eileen). Tried the Spice Hut Indian (had rave reviews online), however, didnt enjoy it at all. Was really expensive and mediocra food. Just to round up, you must visit Guardamar beach, fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay, your villa is a credit to you both. Just spent a very relaxing week at Casa Davleen. The villa was perfect. Spotlessly clean too. It was our first villa holiday and we enjoyed the freedom. The local supermarket bars and restaurants are ten minutes walk down a steep hill The hill, known locally as Cardiac Hill is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. It certainly kept us fit! We didnt venture too far as we had no car, we had some lovely walks to Quesada about 35 mins walk away and to the market and other walks round and about. If we had stayed for two weeks we would have hired a car for a week. We dined at Spencers every evening. It was a varied menu and so enjoyable we didnt want to go anywhere else. It was very cheap too. I would definately go back the only thing I would like to improve the next time is the weather!!! Thanks Eileen your villa is fab

This was one of the best villas we have stayed at, spotlessly clean and very tastefully furnished. The pool was fantastic and eveything you needed was available, we were well looked after and we thought Quesada itself was great. I would get a car next time (that hill!) although we did find a nice taxi driver who took us werever we needed to go. Overall a fantastic holiday, the only downside was i would like to invite more family next time as i was so impressed but would need an extra room !! Thanks Eileen

This property was excellent value for money. It is very well funished. Lots of towels are provided. The pool is lovely and there are inflatables in the villa to use, which we thought was a nice touch. The welcome pack was much appreciated on arrival at the villa. A car is definitely needed. However, it is easy to get to the coast and to the different beaches when you have a car. The local water park is also worth a visit if you have children. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, i will definitely be recommending this villa to friends and family. Eileen you have thought of everything!

Re: Stay 14th ᆰth August 2008

Back to reality and rain!

Just a quick note to say thanks for a lovely holiday.

We all had a great time and are sorry to see you are already booked up for next year.

The accommodation is a credit to you, all we needed and more! As for the children they loved the pool and we were allowed to relax in the knowledge that they were safe and secure. The area was just enough for us, with the short walk down the hill to a variety of restaurants and supermarkets.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone with or without children who want a relaxing holiday in a clean and well maintained environment within easy reach of beaches and attractions.

Thanks again from all the family.

Thanks Eileen for fitting us in for the weekend...end of June at such short notice. We loved the villa, Everything was just so perfect...clean..homely..lovely pool & plenty outside furniture & sun loungers. Problem!! 2 days just wasn't long enough. We had a great short break & will definitely be returning next year for longer!! Everyone was friendly & the area was nice & peaceful. Loved your taste in decore & furnishings. Can honestly say yours is probably the nicest villa that we have ever stayed in...credit to you! Thanks again, Michelle & john Johnson.

Dear Eileen,
We thought your villa was wonderful. To be honest it exceeded our expectations in every respect. It was clear that you and your agents had gone to a great deal of effort to provide a high standard accommodation and we would recommend the villa to everyone. The weather was great for the whole two weeks, and we made good use of the local restaurants particularly Mr Singh's which was excellent. We will certainly keep you in mind for our next holiday.

Best regards
Karen & Keith

A really great property, clean, well equipped with lots of nice touches provided by the owner. The location is quiet but within easy walking distance of an excellent supermarket, and a great selec tion of restaurants. Anyone booking this property has made a great choice and I hope that they enjoy themselves as much as my family. Thanks again to Eileen for all her help. Karen, Keith and family.

Dear Eileen

Just back to work to-day and as I do not have a pc at home was unable to
e-mail you any earlier.

Joyce and I can say without a shadow of doubt that this was our best holiday
in over 20 years of travelling. The villa is a credit to you. Everything
anyone would need is there in the villa, beautiful taste in furnishings etc.
We left our books for the "library" and some cd's. The outdoor area was
fantastic and I have been singing your praises to my work colleagues all
day. We will be booking for last two weeks in June next year. Give our
regards to Louise and Trevor for their great help when needed. If you ever
think of selling up please give us first refusal as we would go and live
permanently over there. We walked to Rojales and Quesada. The only down side
was the hill at night!!! Ok it may have helped if less alcohol was consumed
and I wasn't wearing Joyce's heels ? Only kidding. The area was lovely and
the locals very friendly. Definitely a pearl ! Thank you very very much I
will be in contact shortly with regard to next year.

Regards

Paul & Joyce

We have been going on foreign holidays for over 20 years and this has been our best holiday by far. The villa is a credit to the owners. It is absolutely fantastic with the deocr and attention to detail internally second to none. The outdoor area was brilliant and I actually at 48 years of age learned to swim, with the help of my wife of course. The area was lovely and only 5 mins walk down the hill to bars and restaurants, our favourites being Esmeralda Chinese, Mister Singhs Indian. If you are into Italian food Fratellis in Benijofar approx 15 mins drive away was ace. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill was the best we have ever seen on holidays. Ther e was a struggle at night coming back up the hill about 20-25 mins stagger, sorry walk! We are now going to book for next June as we have found a real gem. All in all it was fantastic.
