This house was just what we wanted, in a lovely quiet spot, with a thirty second walk to the pool, yet only a couple of minutes walk to the local bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Even though the house is only technically a 6 berth, we were two families each consisting of 2 adults,2 toddlers and 2 infants and found there was ample room. The house was very clean and well looked after and only a short 5 minute walk to the bus stop where you can catch the bus to the beach. Next to the supermarket isthe tourist information office and from here you can catch the bus for a30 minute ride to Alicante or Elche. The house met all our expectations and we were impressed with the roof terrace where we sat on an evening to have a few drinks while the kids were asleep. This villa was excellent value for money and i would recommend it to friends.
Ps. Dave, Alan said you were the next to be coming out, we left some beers in the fridge and a few bottles of wine on the table, enjoy!!

Just come back and had a great holiday, the house was exactly as described. It was a nice quiet area and had some nice places to eat. Shared pool was lovely and normaly empty so that was a bonus. Alan and Pat were very helpful and great around. Holiday just went to quick, would certainly go back as excellent value for money.

My husband & i & 3 children have just returned from our holiday in this villa,. We had a fantastic time, the villa is lovely, it had every concievable thing you may need. Very clean and very comfortable, very spacious. We hired a car from PJ car hire, fantastic service, we highly recommend as they pick you up from airport, deliver car to villa then take you back to airport, stress free! and no need to hire large car as they carry luggage, and they really are fully inclusive. The outside areas, roof top solarium with ample loungers were lovely, we enjoyed meals on the table and chairs in the evenings. The villa is very close to the lovely communal pool, we had sole use of it all week! Very convenient nice quiet area, but bars etc just a very short walk, beautiful beach 10 mins in car. We loved it !! Highly recommended

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at La Marina in the above listed property, the villa was well maintained, very clean standards and was everything we were expecting by the description given to us on booking, the man Alan who looks after the property for the owners was absolutely fantastic, catered for every need and we couldnt of met a freindlier person. In the villa they even had a cot, highchair etc which made our stay so much easier with having a baby to cater fo. I will be booking it again later in the year for my holidays next year. The villa was excellent value for the money it cost.

Have just spent 2 weeks at the villa and thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa was very clean and basic supplies were included. The permanent residents made us welcome and recommended places to visit. I would definately go back and would recommend the villa to friends.

We have just returned from a fantasic two week holiday.
The accommodation was excellent. The house was very clean and everything that you needed was provided(as shown on the advert). It is situated in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac and very close to the lovely clean pool.
If you are looking for lovey accommodation handy for shops, restaurants and lots of places for a drink look no further than here!
We would not hesitate in recommending this for a great holiday and we hope to return soon.
P.S. Alan was only a phone call away and a great help to us.

perfect place to stay, bit on the quiet side so perfect for families, lovely people that live in the area and the pubs around were good and friendly especially the dreams bar, food a plain in places but overall would recommend to others, found it really easy to get to the apartment once you figure out the one way system,

I could not have asked for more from the villa and the communication of the villa owner and his reperesentative Alan in Spain. The villa was clean comfortable and in a lovely quiet part of the urbanisation, we didnt even hear the 2am bin collection as we are used to hearing!!
I would also like to thank the locals, the neighbours who made us so welcome especially john, charles and bernie, you could not ask for better neighbours at home or abroad, they made us so welcome and spoke to us as if we were permanent residents there not just intruders for 2 weeks!
I would like to suggest that if you are arriving late you take up the owners offer to get basic provisions in as the supermarkets did not open until 9am and we were gagging for a cuppa the next morning (again thanks to Ian at the Angel for lending us tea coffee sugar and milk!!)
If i had one adverse comment it would be that the parking IS difficult until you get used to it as the roadway is narrow and you HAVE to reverse into the driveway, HOWEVER this is not to be seen as a negative on the part of the owner as ALL the properties have the same problem and some have widened their gateways to help with this.
Overall I would most definitely book again through the owner and would welcome his contact with me again. Helen F Lincolnshire

We have just returned from a 15day stay and found everything that we wanted was there.Lovely and clean sat.tv 100yds from shops lovely helpful neighbours and plenty of sunshine .We would not hesitate to recommend it and would definately return ourselves.thanks to Alan for all his help

The property did not meet the expectation it had on the web site. There was no Tv or DVD. it was lacking in basic maintenance.Beds and doors squeaked.There was no table and chairs to sit outside.The access for a car was bad. It was very clean. Needs some TLC

Totally unfair review!
There IS a TV in the property but the local satelite company closed without notice meaning that there was no feed during the visit. Unfortunate - but this problem has now been resolved.
No DVD - but advert does not state there is a DVD.
There are chairs and sun loungers on the roof, table and chairs on the sun terrace and further chairs for external use in the lounge! What else do they want?!
The house was repainted internally throughout less than 12 months ago. It is in first class condition, excellently cleaned and maintained and certainly NOT in need of TLC. Renters were given a phone number to call should they have any questions or problems but they did not do so.
Road is narrow and navigation into drive may be difficult for some. Other guests and residents seem to manage and, apart from requesting that the road be widened, not sure what I can do about this!
Guess you cant please everyone all the time and some people you cant please any of the time!
Beware anyone who has the misfortune of renting to these people in future.

Website was easy to navigate and the villa was exactly as described. Plenty of good, friendly communication from the owner. We had a great, relaxing holiday. The villa was easier to find than it said on the instructions, with a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A few minutes drive away were more shops and for us better restaurants.
I came back brown. Sometimes that's all I require from a holiday!

Well equipped and presented, clean , very helpful, close to the amenities, in a friendly quiet cul-de-sac !!!

Accurate description of property, very comfortable when we were there. We spent a lot of time buying a property ourselve's.
As we arrived very early (5am on 24th Jan) It was a very welcome surprise that Alan had put Milk,Water and tea bags in the fridge for us. Many thanks Alan. Neighbours were also very friendly and helpful. Nice area and near to shops.
