  • The Villamartin development began in 1972 and has evolved into a splendid Mediterranean village of apartments, townhouses and villas with three excellent 18 hole golf courses at its heart. They are the original Club de Golf Villamartin, Las Ramblas de Orihuela and the well known Campoamor Golf Course. There is also a central square with banks, a supermarket, shops cafes and fine restaurants to suit all. Villamartin is fast becoming one of the most prestigious golf courses in Spain, with all of the amenities you would expect from a development of this standard. No wonder Villamartin is attracting so much interest! Close to Villamartin are numerous beaches with magnificent views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean and the "white sand" that is typical of the Cost Blanca. The beaches along the coastline close to Villamartin are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

We stayed at the villa for a week end July to beginning August. It was HOT! The apartment was good, although as stated no air conditioning which we felt it needed. However, fans were supplied (ceiling and electric). It wasnt too bad if we had been in and able to leave doors open. We felt secure there as all doors/ windows had grills on. The apartment was well stocked of items we found useful - books, toys, cups plates etc. It was good for our 2 and half year old as there were plastic cups etc. The views were gorgeous and we really enjoyed it. Steve/ Sarah left contact no.s if we needed anything. Also, the block has a lift which was useful with our 2 year old. The pool was clean and mostly we had the pool to our selves. La Zenia beach is nice, but we traveled to the mar menor which was shallow and calm and less crowded. We loved the area. We were glad we rented a car as shops were a walk away and hilly. There are afew toll roads if you hire a car but its not too bad. We would definately consider staying here again. Had a really nice time.

Just would of been nice to have air conditioner has it was so hot.. Apart from that had a lovely time. Will definately book again.

Lovely property but we had no water for two out of seven days as the water was cut off though we were given keys for next door to have access to water but it was still very inconvient. Apart from this it was clean and a lovely property. A lot of hidden extras on this site ie breakage waiver, which we dont know if we get back, also late arrival fee,

Owner reply:
Very nice client and unfortunate about the water. The issue was a problem with the water company and not with the owner nor the owners fault. As the agent, the situation was handled to please this client in everyway possible as in any case. As for anything to do with this website, it is obvious this has nothing to do with an owner but is an issue with the site itself.
