Property and local area description

Villa Alkira - Location

Tala is a polular and growing village 4km north of Paphos, set on a west facing hillside looking out over the blue Mediterranean Sea. Only a 10-15 minute drive from the Blue Flag beaches at Corol Bay and from the centre of Paphos.

Tala offers a peaceful location with a good village heart. Tala Square is just 1.5km away and is a popular place to relax with a drink and there are eight restaurants in the area, some with stunning sea views towards the sea.

Within ten minutes walk from the villa you will find a mini market and pharmacy.

Immediatly north of the village is the famous Agios Neophytos monastery, dating from 1159, which is well worth a
visit.

Inside Villa Alkira
Villa Alkira is a luxury villa completed in 2009. It is well equipped and fully air conditioned, plus a ceiling fan in the lounge and 2 portable fans. It is spacious, with colourful furniture, and can accommodate up to six people.

The ground floor is open plan with the lounge to the front of the villa. There is a four seater sofa and two recliners, ideal for relaxing and watching television, which has UK TV Box, (with one weeks catch up TV), DVD player with many CD’s, IPod/MP3 station, Nilestat, all for your enjoyment.
The covered patio to the side of the lounge overlooks the pool, and also has views to the sea. There is table and six chairs here ideal for alfresco dining after cooking on the gas barbeque.

The dining room at the rear has a glass topped table and six leather chairs, with door opening to the back garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, George Foreman grill, and between the kitchen and dining room there is a granite topped breakfast bar with bright leather stools.

There is also a downstairs toilet.

Upstairs the main bedroom has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle, doors lead out to a patio with stunning views across the fields to the sea at Chlorakas. The other two bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds are a reasonable size with built in hanging space, plus a dressing table with drawers. The large family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. There is also a safe deposit box.

There are paperbacks and books and information on Cyprus on the upstairs landing, plus games such as Rumikub, Backgammon, Travel Scrabble, cards. There is also a set of mens and ladies golf clubs.

Outside Villa Alkira

The gardens are gravelled with paving at the rear and around the pool. The paved area at the rear of the pool can accomodate six loungers, two umbrellas. There is also a Gas barbeque for your use. There is an open garage and drive as well as off road parking.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Had an amazing 2 weeks at Villa Alkira. The villa has everything you could need. The pool is amazing - perfect for escaping the Summer heat! The air conditioning inside the villa was excellent too. Tala is a quiet area within easy reach (with a car!) of the local shops and the main tourist area in Paphos. We found the villa easily from the airport even though we arrived late at night. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and well managed by Barbara and Lynn. Thank you! Already booked to come back again next year! Well worth a visit!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday. The villa is perfect in every way and has been very thoughtfully equipped to cater for all our needs.
