Karens Villa

Karens Villa is a spacious 2 bed semi detached villa which has been refurbished throughout. It is air conditioned and sleeps upto six. Located on a peaceful private complex, consisting of approximately 40 villas, and ideal for a relaxing family holiday. The villa has three terraces, mountain views and overlooks the complexs large well maintained pool whilst being only a few minutes walk to the beach.

There is a small shop only a few minutes walk away which will meet all your immediate needs and it has freshly baked bread every morning. There are several good reasonably priced bars / restaurants within close walking distance of the complex with a greater selection in nearby Calis and Fethiye.

Although we would recommend a car the main public transport around the area is the Dolmus (Bus) service which is frequent and a cheap way to travel around. During the peak season you could always try the water taxi from Calis centre to Fethiye (takes approx 30mins) with services every half hour from 9am until midnight.

Accommodation
On the ground floor there is a large open plan, air conditioned, living / dining / kitchen area. It has a sofa, a sofa bed (sleeps 2), 32" LCD TV, Satellite system (plays english news, films, music), DVD player, CD player, i-Pod docking station, coffee table, dining table and six chairs. There are also a selection of books to read, music CDs to listen to, playing cards, board games and a selection of DVDs to entertain you should you choose to stay indoors. There is access to the front terrace and the rear terrace and barbeque can be accessed through double opening doors.

The kitchen area is air conditioned with a range of fitted floor and wall units complimented by a granite worktop, duel fuel cooker, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer, full range of pans, cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking and barbeque utensils . There is a breakfast bar with four stools and child's high chair is also available. There is also a washing machine, iron, ironing board, washing basket and clothers airer.

There is also a useful downstairs cloakroom with WC and sink.

On the first floor the master bedroom is air conditioned with a kingsize bed, mosquito net, large triple wardrobe, two bedside cabinets, bedside lamps and view over pool. The second bedroom is air conditioned bedroom with two single beds, mosquito nets, double wadrobe, bedside cabinet and bedside lamp.

The shower room on the first floor has a shower cubicle with shower, WC and modern glass sink.

Important safety features in the villa include carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors on ground and first floor and a fire blanket located in the kitchen area.

For those with a small child the Villas facilities include a travel cot with padded mattress andd fitted mosquito net, buggie, high chair with tray, padded play mat, an anti-roll changing mat and baby monitor system.

The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Towels and linen are provided but you will need to bring your own
beach towels.



Outdoor space and pool
The villa has three large terraces. The terrace at the front has an outside shower. The terrace at the rear faces the pool, has a built in barbeque and patio table and chairs so that you can eat outside. The first floor balcony is accessed from the landing and looks over the pool and has views of the mountains. A hammock can hang from the hooks on this terrace and it is an ideal area to chill out.

There is a large well maintained shared pool opposite the villa and open from late May to September each year. There are sun loungers and tables at the pool side and on the grassed area near the pool there are swings for smaller children. The nearby Alperin Hotel offers the use of their pool to non-residents if you should be staying during the time when the complex pool is closed. You also have the sea only a few minutes walk away.
