Lovely, clean and comfortable villa in a beautiful complex. The two pools are huge, spotlessly clean and well kept, the gardens all around are beautiful and the whole place is quiet and friendly. They even spray to keep the mosquitos under control! Be aware the complex is right along at the quiet (and most attractive) end of the beach, and is a good 30min walk from the main resort centre of Calis. There are enough good beach restaurants nearby (particularly The Birlik- on the beach 5 mins walk away) to keep us fed and watered. The Main Dolmus stop is no more than a 10min amble away. A bike is a useful addition to pop in and out for groceries etc. This is the second year running that Weve been in the same complex, and I cant help but feel its likely well be back again next year. Id heartily recommend it. Perfect for a quiet family holiday.

The property itself is of a good standard and is set in beautiful and well maintained gardens. with 2 very well kept pools. It is however very remote from the nearest town (Calis) and is infact a 45min walk or 10min taxi. Indeed the location details of this villa are completely inaccurate and misleading, which is why I was so dissappointed as I specifically booked it due to the supposed central location (Fethiye is a 25min Taxi ride. Not 4 min and Olu Denis would be about 45min, not 15. Also the free super market trip costs 30TL.
Tracy & Desree from the management company (Fethiye Lovers) were great!

The map link is accurate and is exactly the location of the villa. Calis town is directly along the beach road and no more than 4 mins by car and walking distance is as long as you make it. Regarding your taxi journey, taxi drivers as in any country can take a long or short way. This villa has had many happy holidaymakers and we feel that it is fairly represented and past reviews are very positive.

We were very pleased with the villa, it was clean and had everything you needed. The pool was only a short walk from our villa and was the cleanest shared pool we have ever used! However we were disappointed that inflatables were not allowed in the pool, especially as there were never more than ten people in the very large pool at any one time. The complex was immaculately clean and with the guarded gates we felt secure at all times. The nearest local shops were about a 15minute walk and the nearest restaurants were about 10mins walk but the main restaurants were about 30mins walk. We found everyone to be very friendly without being over the top.
The only negative for us was the road to the complex which is basicaly just a dirt track with lots of large rocks in it and we were concerned about damaging the hire car, especially as the small print says it is not covered for damage to the underside of the car.

Villa guzel was a very clen spacious property set in beautiful quiet surroundings with beautiful well kept gardens and clean shared comminual pools and onsite sercurity with a key fob to gain access to the site .Set at the far end of calis beach it was within easy acces to the main part of calis with the local dolmus service right outside the villa complex or if you can manage the heat ha ha .. a leisurely walk up the road or beach past all the many restaurants and bars up the seafront where there was car hire, moped and bike hire for those who want it ,shops tattoists, banks and water taxi service to fetiyhe, local markets plus so much more ,everything surrounded by mountain views , sea and lots of hot sun . Val who was the owner was fabulous always on hand for advice or help whenever you required it who we even enjoyed a night out with which was a great memory of our holiday she also took us shopping on our 2nd day and showed us around our resort with all the help we needed for a truley brillant holiday .Turkey was a fantastic destination and if your looking for a wonderful relaxing place to stay with the nightlife and shops within easy access then this is the place for you, Val is an absolute credit not just to holidaymakers but herself a lovely lady !! thank you Val and of course you to Howard for arranging the brilliant blue bay tour trip on our own private boat which was amazing ! Thank you so much!! This is our first day home as im writing this and already the memories are running through my mind and we are definately returning next year to the same villa as we couldnt of asked for anything more than a perfect holiday and this is what we got ,a perfect retreat from all the stresses and strains of normal everyday life with the laughs , lovely friendly people beautiful surroundings hot sun sea and views that took you away............ absolutely brilliant!

The villa is comfortable and the pool is very nice. Calis beach is very near, but the sea is rough and cloudy when we were there. We prefer to swim in the pool. The villa has everything your needs very clean, located on a well maintained and quiet site. We took a nice holiday in this villa.

We arrived at Dalaman Airport and our pre arranged pickup (well worth having) soon had us on our way to Calis and the villa and within an hour Val was showing us around the villa. It was lovely, plenty of space and all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. Our party consited of two adults and two children aged 11 and 8. The children loved the villa and the pools which even in the middle of August (and a heat wave) were never crowded.
The beach was close by and the restaurants so easy to walk to. Val and Howard were wonderful taking us on a shopping trip to the super market on the first day and giving us plenty of information about the area. We arranged a trip through them and it was so easy, Howard picked us up from the villa and dropped us off at the coach stop, a great service. We didn't hire a car and did not need it, Fethiye was so easy to get to with the local bus stop out side the complex and the water taxi back to Calis ran until midnight and provided a loveyl way to travel in the heat. The villa is situated in a quiet area of Calis Beach and is a welcome relief from the bustle of the town. The postion was the main asset of this villa, so easy to get to the main area but with enough remoteness to give you a wonderful relaxing holiday and with Val and Howard so easy to contact, peace of mind. Great great great.

Our second visit to this area with our two children. The villa offered the amenities one would need to be comfortable and one of the two swimming pools on the complex was excellent. A tranquil complex good for families and only a five to ten minute drive (if that) to busy calis with all its hotspots. The nearby Birlik restaurant on the beach was as welcoming as always. We found that car rental was essential as it was too far a walk to Calis (or any centre), especially in the heat of mid summer! Besides, there is much to see within a reasonable distance by car. Val and Howard were always at hand for advice when needed. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Villa has everything your party needs very clean, located on a well maintained & quiet site with 2 excellent swimming pools, 5 km from Calis centre.Beach 2 mins away(walking)cheap transport,dolmus or taxis or car hire.
Our hosts Howard & Val,two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet,very helpful,obliging, sorted out all our trips etc.
Had a great holiday,will definetley revisit.

The property is set on a small secure compound just outside Calis beach,with 2 swimming pools, 1 medium & 1 large. The property was immaculate and the kids loved the pools. We had a daily afternoon swim to cool down. Calis has a number of excellent restaurants serving a range of foods from Italian to traditional Turkish cooking. There is a range of activities: boat trips, jeep safari and trips to Oludeniz, fethiye, Kas and even Greece. The area is extraordinarily picturesque and the people are very welcoming, my family and I had a great holiday and I will definitely be recommending it to our friends.

me & my girlfriend had a wonderful time it was are second visit & this time it was even better then the first.the locals are very friendly,the bars serve some wonderful turkish food and i recommend the local beer which is called efes(cheap aswell).the pictures of the villa don't do it justice there is penty of room and the pool is a 30 second walk away,are hosts were howard and val who made us welcome and were very helpful from the moment we arrived until we left.we will be going back next year.

Had a wonderful time at "Guzel". Howard and Val are worth their weight in gold - soooo helpful. They met us when we arrived, picked us up and introduced us to "Tekins" and came back the following morning to take us to the supermarket, organised our very own boat trip etc. etc. Wonderfully reassuring to know they were only a phone call away. This was our first visit to Turkey, but we will definately be back! The place, the people, the scenery etc. did it for us!

We had never visited Turkey before, but will definitely be visiting again. Calis is a lovely place and the people are extremely friendly.
Steven was helpful to us when we arrived, but to be honest we never neede to contact him for the remainder of the holiday as we managed to find our way around after the first couple of days.
We would be grateful if you could let us know of any more villas to rent in Calis/Fethiye, as we will definitely be visiting Turkey.
