We enjoyed our two weeks in this apartment, close to the beach a short walk to the town and easy bus access into and out of Alanya.
The apartment was clean and well kept, could get cold and damp of an evening however we did go in April.
We loved market day in Mahmutlar and the local restaurant Buzzy can recommend eating there.
The volcano decieded to arupt while we were staying at Traceys apartment and she was very helpful with regards if we needed to stay there longer if unable to get a flight out.
Unfortunatly there was no caretaker while we were at the apartments so had to rely on a overbaring resident of the complex who really did get on our nevers however this does not reflect the apartment, area at all, avoid him at all costs !!!!
Great stay, great weather, alfesco dining on the terrace, fresh produce and the bread oh my that is not to be missed. You learn to ignor the constant prayers at the certain times of the day, go into the tauraus mountains on the quad bikes, have a lovely turkish massage and defo get the bus into Alanya harbour.
We had two children with us and never felt unsafe, luckly it is a quite area and not many people to hassle you.

The balcony is super, it is always cool there, we had breakfast, dinner and supper on it, excellent! The caretaker is helpful. The pool is super! And the apartment is convenient. Everything was ok. Thanks.

We spent a week at Goldsun apartments in may 2010, and we realy enjoyed it , the apartment was very nice, very clean and everything you wanted was there . if we had a problem all we had to do was ask the caretaker and he would sort it, also the location of the property is near the beach and near to everything!!! we had one small problem and that was the language barrier we could not understand the caretaker but he was very nice and helpful.we had an excellent holiday.we are going again now July would have liked to book again but its booked. would like to say thank you toTracey,and we will definitely be booking with you again. x

my wife and i are just back from 4 weeks at this apartment i have to say it is fabulous lovely pool area with sun beds and pads the apartment had mosquitoe screens on all windows and doors very large bathroom and separate toilet lovely marble floors kitchen lounge area good choice of dvds and books we would definitley recomend this apartment

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Goldsun apartment - The apartment is very spacious with clean rooms, a large bathroom and a good kitchen. It has also been stocked with a good selection of DVDs and books which are a nice addition. It was definitely better than I was expecting. The only downside is the location which is some distance from Alanya town centre (5-10km). However, there are good regular shuttle bus links to Alanya and Mahmutlar town centre is also within walking distance which has a number of good bars and restaurants. The beach is also within walking distance (5 mins) although you will have to travel into Alanya to sample the best beaches in the area.
Murat the caretaker more than makes up for the location however. He was friendly throughout and made us feel welcome from the start. He was also able to arrange any activities that we wanted to do within minutes.
Consequently, I would definitely recommend this apartment.

the apartment was lovely, like a home from home. There was everything you need. All the family thought that it was a fab apartment. I particularly liked the screens at the windows and doors so the windows could be opened without letting the mosquitoes in. Murat and his wife were very helpful and welcoming. The pool and garden areas were very clean and well kept.
We would stay at gold sun again.

Terri and I were travelling to Turkey for the first time and did not know what to expect. The size and quality of the apartment exceeded our expectations. It was difficult to find initially and is approx 400m from the beach not 150m. Murat the caretaker was brillian, knows the area very well, good english. Apartment was well fitted out though apparently the owner took out the a/c remotes in the week prior to our visist due to prior tenants running up 200GBP in electricty costs over three weeks. Not a huge issue for our week though sleeping at night was a bit tough. Later in the season you definitely need the AC and owner should arrange something. Iron board cover needs replacing and the TV has very few English channels. selec tion of books and dvds was a nice touch. Would definitely go back. Wayne and Terri

This appartment was like a home from home, everything you could have needed was there. Very well furnished, the caretakers are lovely helpful people who are very approachable. There is a shop across the road thats open late and loads of shops a short walk down the roads. Buses stop at the end of the road to take you into alanya town centre and the beach is a short walk from the appartment. If I went back to Alanya, I would rent this appartment again.

We did not expect the apartment to be so spacious and so well equipped. It had everything even down to a hairdryer for my wife. It was very nicely presented and it was good to have heating in the evening as it did get cold after dark. There was plenty of activities and very nice bars and restaurants in Mahmutlar itself we highly recommend "Old Dutch". Going at this time of year was nice most restaurants and bars still open all the attractions open except water park and without the crowds. We have booked apartments before at much higher rates that did not come close to the standard of this apartment. **Excellent value for money** highly recommend to everyone. Caretaker Murat and his wife very helpful especially working the sauna for us and their local knowledge saved us alot of time given that we only had a week to do as much as possible. Thanks Mark

Sorry about late review we have been so busy, returned from this apartment begining May. WO W what value for money, we thought this property may not be as described because it seemed so reasonable compared to others we had seen. But we have had a great time, the apartment was lovely and the complex very family friendly. Everything we needed and more. Property was much nicer than the photos on the website, it had everything. I was unwell one day and did not want to go out but the apartment has digital Tv, DVD player and a selection of DVDs along with a stereo and the owner had even provided books to read which you are allowed to take home if you have not finished it as long as you leave the one you have just finished. It was definatly a home from home. The beach was just beside the apartment so we just kept popping back to make sandwickes or get drinks it was like being directly on the beach.

This was our first time to Alanya and its great nothing like the other resorts we had been too. People are so laid back and friendly we were not pestered to go into restaurants etc, we could relax and realy enjoy ourselves. The apartment was very well equipped and very clean. This holiday was everything we could have wished for. Our children were never bored. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The caretaker and his wife were lovely, very helpful. We would recommend to anyone, beautiful scenery, beaches and of course the weather. NA Newcastle
