We have stayed on this complex before, but not at this villa, needless to say it met our already considerable expectations. The taxi transfer organised by the villa owners was awaiting our arrival at dalaman. On arrival at The Village, we were met by the night watchman who escorted us all to the villa and ensured we had the right keys etc. The welcome pack was most welcome, after arriving late, we just wanted a cup of tea - which alongside milk, sugar, coffee, bread, pasta and biscuits, were all to hand. The villa was literally 20 steps away from the pool, which on most days only had a handful of other people around. There is a small cafe on site now, which serves ice creams and drinks, although it says snacks, when we were there, they didnt do any. Air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms were very efficient. As previous reviewers have mentioned the owners here also provide pool towels, as well as bath towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing powder - which is great - less to bring or purchase on holiday. Blankets where left out on beds, with additional one available should you need them - we didnt! TV is through a sat box - mainly arabic channels, but world news and a couple of english speaking - if you want to watch a film you can buy 10 dvds in Hisarano for £10! Travel into either feithyie or hisarano or olu deniz is on the main road - bus stop on both sides of the road - 2.75 tl (£1) into olu deniz or 2 tl into hisarano - bus every 6 minutes - cant beat it! All in all, if your looking for the convenience of a home from home with the added pluss of a pool big enough to swim in, peace and quiet with the option of nightlife 10 mins away and glorious weather, this is the place to be.

Hi Guys.
We have rented quite a few Villas over the years in the Hisoranu and Ovacik area, so we believe that we are in a decent position to be able to put a "comparative" review forward. Putting the stunning area, the magnificent views and the visitor/tourist friendly resort to one side (if thats possible) and just to concentrate on the Villa itself.
Villa Yidiz is set in a little complex known as the Village on top of the Ovacik bank, its position allows for a lovely cooling breeze. The Village staff are all very friendly and helpfull and respect your space and privacy.
The detached Villa has lovely gardens all around with a shady veranda with a relaxing three seating swing chair and last but not least the sunset view balcony.. Internally, it was like a home from home, it is the best Villa that we have had so far in regards to the stock of provisions provided for use. Whether you were sunbathing by the pool or in the gardens everything was on hand. If you decided to stay in and have a meal one night then everything you required was provided for.
Was it good value for money ? - Money well spent
Meet expectations - Far outweighed them
Description accurate - Didnt do it justice
Recommend to a friend - Did out there and have since been home
Adequately looked after - Asked and it was done
To sum up Villa Yildiz is a hidden oasis of peace and tranquility to come back too after the "rigours" of the long day sunbathing at Olu Deniz or "partying" at Hisoranu.
Dont want to sing its praises too much because it might not be available for the next time we want it (so book early because we will)
Best Regards Jacinta and Kevin from Co Durham (NE England)

Excellent property and location. Owners responded quickly to a couple of minor issues and we thoroughly enjoyed our two week holiday. The Villa was welll equipped with all the basic essentials so the first 24 hours were really easy. The bus to the beach and/or harbour was very frequent and only cost a few pounds. Very relaxing and we are very likely to go back.

We have just got back from a 1 week stay at Villa Yildiz and we enjoyed our stay very much. When we arrived we found a welcome letter from the owners, Christine and Serif, with a folder of information about the villa and the surrounding areas.
There was bread, butter, jam, honey, ketchup, water, milk, orange juice, pasta, tea, sugar, crisps, cookies, washing powder, washing-up liquid, cleaning products, bin bags, kitchen foil, soap, towels, shower gel, dvds, books, everything you could possibly need left for us in the villa. It was these touches that really made the stay extra special. Christine and Serif really have thought of everything to ensure that guests enjoy their stay.
The villa was extremely clean, there was an umbrella and sun beds provided beside the pool especially for guests to the villa, the pool was lovely and clean and there was never very many people there.
There was a taxi office, a petrol station, places to catch buses and dolmuses very close to the villa. There were numerous shops and markets also near the villa, with one particular shop offering to deliver, free of charge, items bought from them.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Villa Yildiz and would recommend it to prospective guests.

This is a great villa and excellent value for money. We went with our 10month old boy and it was perfect. The property is clean, and is in a great location, it feels remote but you are only a 2 minute walk from the bus stop!. The pool was always quite empty (we went beginning of Sept) so plenty of room for splashing about, and the views from the pool were gorgeous! The owner is very hospitable and left us so much stuff for our arrival. I would definitely recommend this villa, you will not be disappointed!

We have just returned from Villa Yildiz and had the most fantastic time. We were treated like royalty by Christine & Serif, everything we could possibly have needed was there awaiting our arrival. Everything was within easy distance to the villa and we hired a jeep for the duration of our stay which allowed us to explore further. The local dolmus and taxis are all just a stones throw away. Ovacik is a small area built into the hills which allowed for peace and quiet when needed, Hisaronu was just a 10 min journey and Oludeniz just 15 mins away. The swimming pool was beautifully clean and it was a delight to know that our personal sunbeds were waiting for us each day rather than the usual early morning start to ensure a space by the pool! The villa is also set in a perfect position overlooking the pool. This villa was a fantastic find and we were all very sad to leave. First timers to Turkey and this was the most perfect and relaxing holiday.

We have just spent 3 idyllic weeks in Villa Yildiz. The villa is excellent value for money and Christine and Serif had stocked it amazingly well with snacks and treats for the kids as well as all the toiletries and kitchen supplies we could need. The Village is a quiet, peaceful complex and the pool was never over crowded. The staff at the complex are all friendly and the kids loved when the gardeners came in and sprayed them with the hose! The washing machine made such a difference - the washing dries so quickly that we came home with no dirty washing. The airport transfers were reliabable and on time and we used the same company to book two excellent boat trips. The supermarket is about a 10-15 minute walk and Olu Denuz beach is 10 minutes away by taxi. We loved everything about the villa, the area and Turkey. This was our first visit and we would definitely return. The kids were glued to the pool most of the time and we only made it to the beach 3 or 4 times as they wanted to stay by the pool so much. This is most relaxing holiday weve had with the kids who are 7 and 5 and we all were sad to leave.

Everything from start to finish was great, we had a lovely time. The complex is very well laid out each villa having its own private garden, set among cobbled walkways, giving the feeling of space. The swimming pool is a very good size and is gated.
Villa Yildiz is nice clean well equipped and with the welcome pack well provisioned.
Very helpful owners, very quick response to Emails with very good information pack.
Many thanks for a very relaxing break.

I really dont want to tell anyone about this place because it was so nice I want to keep it to myself!!! But that would be selfish :)
Amenities were excellent, hospitality exceptional, peaceful however the dolmus (bus) made it accessible to many places. The owner was very helpful and there were many thoughtful touches that added to the already excellent villa and suroundings. It was my first booking over the internet (I did own a timeshare) and I was rather nervous not knowing what I would get I was very pleasantly surprised and hope all holdays are as successful as this one was. Enjoy we did.

My two daughters and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Yildiz. The owner was very helpful in advance - sending information about travel and car hire, replying very quickly to any queries. I was delighted with the Villa. It was exactly as described, but also very clean and had some very thoughtful touches to make the stay more comfortable. The Villa was very well provisioned with suppiles for the week, so there was no need to buy any of the basics as a self catering hire. The Villa is on a very well managed site, and we were always met with friendliness, with help on hand if needed. Altogher I was absolutley delighted with this villa hire. The owners help and the quality of the villa made it a really excellent holiday for us.

Myself and my partner stayed at villa Yildiz between 14th Sept 09 and 25th Sept 09. We had a fantastic holiday.
The villa was just like home from home, i even did some washing which i have never done on holiday!! The village complex is very relaxing, it has a lovely big pool and was so clean. The views of the mountains all around- amazing. And the complex dog Lilly was so cute we wanted to bring her home!
It was so easy to get about, all we did every day was walk to the road outside the complex and put our arm out for the local dolmus (bus) and they took us to either Hisoronu and Olu Deniz one way or Fethiye the other. We spent most of our time in Hisaronu where we had some lovely meals- would recommend CASTELLOs for steak/ chicken/fajitas and SHINE for a gorgeous curry (Indian).
I would definately recommend this villa to frieds and family and will hopefully return with them in the next year or so. The villa is a credit to the owners and i am sure whoever stays there will not be disappointed.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
