Overall the villa was just OK. Its in a nice location and everything is well maintained around the villa. Jackie the contact for the villa was very helpful, but we just feel that the villa lacks the little touches that I believe you expect in a villa. i.e. Although a welcome pack was provided at an extra cost which is acceptable, I would have liked the villa to have had the basics such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets/liquid, wash powder and enough toilet roll to last the week, and gas to power the oven/hob, which ran out after 5 mins of use, but was replaced very quickly free of charge - if this had happened late evening then we wouldnt have been able to continue cooking. I have to mention that the villa was very clean, but our week was spoilt by finding ants all around the kitchen worktops and floor on the first day, it wasnt just a couple it was hundreds. The 2nd day we found we had a donkey bee nest above the main bedroom balcony, so we couldnt sit around the pool for a few days while they tried to rectify the situation. This partly worked but even so even on the last day they were still a few lingering around and believe me, we know how dangerous these can be. Hopefully they will manage to get rid of them. This review is not intended to put you off, its just an honest view of our stay from a well travelled couple.In closing, i would say the villa is very clean in a convenient location but just lacks those finishing touches.

Have stayed at the Araxa complex previously in a different villa as it is a lovely location. Enjoyed this location once more and this villa has lovely gardens and swimming pool. However, internally the villa needs a little attension, The blinds in the dining area do not retract, the door to the double bedroom can not be closed, the shower attachment in the ensuite does not fit the wall bracket and the curtains do not fully close in the ensuite or twin bedroom. All three bedrooms could do with a dressing table and bin. The juicer is missing from the kitchen and we had to wait five days for two new sun loungers to appear after requested (only four in situ for a six person villa). Two sun longer cushions were also damaged and need replacing. There are a number of other minor faults that need attending to, none of which would take much effort or time to rectify. I would recommend the villa to a friend if the owners addressed the points stated, but would choose a previously rented one on the same complex.

Great villa in quiet and beautiful location – just on the outskirts of Hisaronu and five minutes from Fethiye. Was very spacious for a family of five and had all facilities. Local rep was very helpful.. Highly recommended!

Perfect family holiday.
Property is perfect and to a very high standard.
Private pool and location make this perfect to relax whist also local enopugh to the town of Fethiye and the stunning beach of Oludeniz which are an absolute pleasure.
Plenty of local hotels and bars to provide entertainment within a short walk.
Amazing value for money locally.
One word ......Ideal!!

The accommodation was very spacious for a family of 5 set in a peaceful and tranquil location. The villas superb air conditioning was a welcome relief to the Turkish heat. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the large patio area and not to mention the splendid swimming pool. The local village store delivered direct to our door. To top it all Fethiye with its beach, restaurants and attractions just a short taxi ride away.
This was our best holiday for a family of 5 and we will all have very fond memories for years to come. We will definitely be returning.

This is the best holiday me and my family have had by far!!! We have 3 children aged 14,8 and 3 and they had a ball!! The villa is amazing, everything you need, well equipt and of a high standard. Although a little out of the way, its quiet and peaceful and only a short taxi ride from anywhere!! The welcome pack has the number for "Ian" the local taxi driver who really looked after us for the whole holiday, very fair prices and he was a fountain of all knowledge for trips, places to visit and restaurants to eat in...a lovely man!!
We will be bookin again for next year!!!

araxa 9 is a lovely villa looking out on to the pine forest. It was well appointed and clean throughout. we really enjoyed our stay here, the pool was lovely and we loved relaxing in it every day. there was so much of interest to do in the area too. the villas are set away from the main area and as such are perfect for relaxation and yet you can pick up a dolmus bus at the end of the road, about 5 mins walk. i would recommend this villa to anyone. the only criticism... there was no info about the local area provided which would have helped us greatly at the beginning. the grounds staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for all the local towns and attractions of the region, with OluDeniz a short 10 minutes drive away.
We went with two young children (1yo and 3yo) and they loved it too.
The swimming pool, which we particularly enjoyed, is also made safe since the terraced area has "gates", so the little ones could safely be outside on their own.
I personally enjoyed the smell of the pine trees directly outside the back garden..
Also, staff servicing the villa were really friendly and helpful.

"The Villa was gorgeous and the pool well used. We often sat on the terrace looking at the beautiful surrounding views. We found it very easy to get into all the local towns and the local store were very helpful. We are definitely intending at staying at Araxa 9 again. We would also recommend using the excellent taxi service which never let us down."
