This is a fantastic property and we very much enjoyed our stay here. It is nicely furnished and was spotlessly clean. We found it to be more spacious than we expected from the photos and the two bathrooms make it ideal for a group. The pool area is beautiful and we spent many relaxing hours there! We found it to be a good location - walking distance to the beach and shops but also far enough from them to be in a quiet and peaceful area. We arranged transfers through the letting and they were great - they punctual, really friendly and made travelling to and from the airport extremely easy. Both the apartment and transfers were great value for money. Would definitely recommend this letting, but perhaps not to groups of only girls, if you want to spend a lot of time away from the apartment. We found the attention from locals quite harassing at times. All in all an amazing trip!

We came back to this apartment for the second time, last year we stayed for two weeks but this year we rented the apartment for five weeks and a few days. As last year we had a wonderful time, the area is very quiet and it is very relaxing. We will probably go back if possible next year.

ust had a brilliant 2 weeks at the apartment with my husband, daughter, her partner and my 14 month old grandaughter. We booked on monday morning and arrived on the Friday evening of the same week! The whole booking process, transfer and communication with the owner and their representatives Graham and Pat was first class. The apartment had everything we needed and more. The pool was lovely and we had 4 sunbeds assigned to the apartment. Any requests we had during our stay were promply dealt with. We would definately go back to Side and the apartment again in the future.

The appartment was first class. The owners have put a lot of effort into making this appartment really special. Everything you need is provided, and with air con in all bedrooms and the lounge area it made our stay very comfortable. The pool area is clean and tidy and the location is very quiet.. You are in walking distance of some nice reastraunts and Old Side town is about a 20-25 min walk although there are plenty of taxis and buses to catch on the main road . I would like to thank Graham and his wife who manage the appartment for the owners who got the electrical problem sorted out within the hour and this was about 7-00pm. This is a lovely appartment and we would definitlely look to go back there again.

We have been going to Side for the past 6 years, so as you can tell we love it, we have stayed at the Lymra Apartments before ( although in a different Apartment) the area is lovely very family friendly and relaxed. The Apartment its self is great value for money, I would recommend it, and we had the pool to ourselves most days...

This was the third time weve rented an apartment at villarenters.com and weve always been satisfied, but I must say that this was the best apartment so far. Everything worked perfect from the start until we came home, the booking, the contact with the owner, the transfer and then finally the apartment, everything has been perfect. We were six persons that stayed in the apartment for two weeks, two adults and our children, age 15, 18, 21 and their cousin that also are 21. This was not our first trip to Side so we knew what to expect, we also know the area so we knew that we had to walk for about 15 minutes to come to our place at the beach (Alremu). For families with small children that might not be acceptable but for us that is no problem. The owner helped us to get in contact with Graham at Siderivierapropertis.com and from him we booked the transfer and we also got the key to the apartment from him, he had an office not far from the apartment so it was easy to go and talk to him when we had any questions. The apartment is a duplex with three bedrooms and beds for six persons and the size of it is more than enough, there are also two bathrooms both with showers. In the living room area there is a television and a DVD-player and a lot of dvd-films, in the afternoons after beach and pool time that was the place for rest for our children. We stayed at the apartment between the 17th and 31st of July but there was not much people staying there so we almost had the pool for ourselves. The Lymra area is very nice its green and well taken care of and the pool area is also very nice. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and if its possible we already talked about renting it next year again.

Stayed here in October with my boyfriend, and absolutely loved it. Although the villa is big enough for a family, it turned out to be perfect for us as we wanted somewhere which was bigger than your average self-catering and had a homely feel. Excellent value for money! It was a bit expensive to eat out every night in Side, but staying in to cook wasnt a problem as the kitchen has everything you can think of and more. Also, loved the collection of dvds! And the hot tub! Side is definitely a family-centred resort, so might not be the ideal place if you want a clubbing holiday with your friends. However, the island was really pretty and we went on a few day tours to visit the old ruins which you can book on the day from the travel agent round the corner from the aprtment. Cheers bar is also really helpful is you want to book anything, and Captain Jacks had great authentic food and wasnt expensive. It gets more pricey as you head towards the Old Town, but we absolutely loved Ottomans which is hidden away. Blink and youll miss it, but we found it through the Lonely Planet in the apartment. Also, not expensive! Overall, would defintely recommend!

The apartment is very nice and there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. The beach and most of the restaurants is down quite a steep hill. Overall good value for money.

The holiday started well with a prompt transfer from the airport to the apartment. The apartment itself was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. The pool area was excellent and also surprisingly quiet - we had it to ourselves most days! We ate out every evening and found some great restaurants. The promenade along the beach made for a lovely evening stroll and the Side Beach Club restaurant here became a firm favourite. We can highly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to book again.

We stayed here last year so had no hesitation in re-booking and had another enjoyable time this year. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean and with the pool so close its a great place to stay. Not many of the residents seem to use the pool meaning there was always adequate space to sunbathe whilst the kids splashed about. Its only a very short stroll up the hill to the local restaurants which all have a friendly atmosphere and are good value. Theres now a new walkway all along the beach front leading into old Side, which makes it easier to walk into the this area for more shops (although in the heat would still recommend using the local bus service). Overall, another excellent stay this year.

This was our second visit to this lovely apartment in the Lymra Residence and if anything we had an even better holiday there this year than last time. The owners have made it even more comfortable for guests with the addition of lovely floor rugs and wall hangings, a microwave oven and the one thing we missed last year - the all important full-length mirror for us girls! The owners had also put more information on their website about Side and the surrounding area which was very useful, including a map showing the nearest supermarket, the larger supermarket in the nearby town of Manavgat, the local butcher, greengrocer, fishmonger and the all important ATM. Last year we stayed in the apartment for the last week in April and the first week in May and this year we were there for the last 2 weeks in July and the temperature difference was tremendous - the second week was almost too much for me and one of my sisters with our fair hair and freckles. We had to call out the management company when the air conditioning unit broke down in one of the bedrooms and they came quickly and sorted it out. One of the kitchen cupboards had tea bags, sugar, coffee, sauces and various jars of herbs and spices left by previous tenants, all of which came in handy for our stay and when we left we made sure to do the same. We made friends with a bunch of young women from Northern Ireland and a family of 4 from Bicester who were staying in other apartments in the Residence with whom we had a great time. At the top of the road on the left there is a bar/restaurant called Cheers which has a karaoke twice a week followed by a foam disco. We had great fun joining in with our new friends. Needless to say we let our hair down a few times and belted out a few choice numbers. We think the local beer may have had something to do with us all having such a great time! The authorities in Side have done a lot of work on the sea front since we were there last year and the main improvement is that they have built a lovely 2-3 mile promenade which is a real boost to the area. Along the length of the promenade there are lots of bars and restaurants to have a drink or a meal and they are all very reasonable and friendly. The promenade runs from Kumkoy to just under the amphitheatre ruins in the Old Side Town and it is a lovely walk in the early morning before it gets too hot. The promenade is also very popular in the evenings. There are lots of sunbeds right along the length of the beach, and apart from the ones owned by the big hotels, you can use them for free as long as you buy a drink from the bar. The authorities have also installed taps along the length of the promenade so you can wash the sand from your feet. Me and my family preferred to stay around the pool at the apartment during the day rather than go to the beach, but we did go to the public beach a few times and had a great time. The atmosphere at the beach is really buzzing and there was lots to do if you were interested, like diving, wind-surfing, para-gliding and jet-skis. But there are also more sedate ways to have fun for those that are less daring, including pedaloes and snorkelling and, of course, the ubiquitous cocktail! The water at the beach was lovely and very warm and clean and although there were a lot of people there it didn’t feel or look crowded. We definitely had our own space. We hired a car for a few days and went to visit Koprulu Canyon and Selge the Roman encampment where there had been a community of over 20,000 people. Life must have been very hard then. There was also a Roman amphitheatre which was in very good condition considering that it was 2000 years old. The journey to the camp took us along a river valley which was very busy with people in rubber dinghies doing a very mild form of white water rafting – no rapids, no white foam and no apparent danger. Everyone appeared to be having great fun. We weren’t wearing the right clothes or we would have joined in the fun but we are going to do it next year. It looked amazing and people of all ages were taking part, including OAPs and children. We stopped at one of the many little restaurants along the river and had lunch which turned out to be one of the best meals out we had during the holiday. We were in a floating pontoon on the river with a palm covered roof, a low table and seats covered in Turkish rugs. It was fabulous. On the drive back we saw a huge stork’s nest built on top of the dome of a village mosque. There were 2 adult birds and 2 almost fully grown chicks. None of us had ever seen a stork before so it made the holiday really special. All in all this is a great apartment to rent at a very reasonable price and there is lots to see and do in the surrounding area. I would happily recommend it and friends have already made a booking.

My husband, son (4 1/2) and myself stayed for 10 days in the apartment and had a fantastic time. We decided to stay in private accomodation as it would be easier with a young child and it was definately the right decision. The apartment was extremely spacious which meant we could spread out, it was also very well equipped with plenty of things like hangers, towels, bed linen and kitchen equipment. Having access to a washing machine was great and meant we could travel light. The pool area was a relief from the heat when we werent on the beach and unlike hotels there was no annoying music or entertainment staff hanging around. The pool was aproximately 1.6 meters deep along the length. Our son has had swimming lessons and used a woggle and was really happy in the pool. We bought a float with us but you can buy woggles etc locally. Having the balcony off the main living area was good because it meant our son could play outside but we could keep an eye on him and he didnt have to play round the pool area. During our stay some of the other apartment owners were also there which meant we could get tips about the local area. The walk to the beach took about 10 mins and the dolmus runs from the main road into old Side/Manavgat very regularly. In the evening it was lovely walking along the new promenade to the old town and the sunsets were great. I would recommend the apartment highly and it definately contributed to the enjoyment of our holiday.

This is an excellent apartment in a relatively quiet area of Side - very well placed for the beach (five minutes or so), bars, shops and restaurants within easy reach, and the apartment was ideally placed for us as a family as it was slightly away from the busier areas (which seem to have become much busier since a previous visit to Side) and an easy half-hour or so stroll to the old town along the new promenade or the beach itself. We were delighted when we arrived at the apartment after a very straightforward transfer from the airport. Lovely and spacious, beautifully finished and furnished, and very well equipped - unusually for rented accommodation (in my experience), there was nothing that was missing - how nice to find sharp knives, decent corkscrew and can opener, plenty of pans, crockery, linen, condiments, plug adaptors, hair dryers, etc! We were very lucky with the weather (only one short sharp thunderstorm in a fortnight), but had we needed to resort to the television/DVDs, what a great selec tion of films, etc.! (I was very tempted by the collection of all the best-film Oscar winners!) There are also a good number of books to appeal to varied tastes, plus several good guidebooks. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful, and we were fortunate enough to have the super pool virtually to ourselves much of the time. It was very difficult to prise our two children away to take them off to the fantastic archaeological sites at Termessos and Perge, but we just about managed it....Overall, we would highly recommend this apartment - we had a great holiday there. Many thanks!

We - myself, my partner and our kids (17 and 11) - were very pleased with the apartment and the airport transfer arrangements. All to our fullest satisfaction and we are happy to return sometime in the near future. Lyrma Residence is ideally situated near shops and bars/restaurants and just a short walk away from the beach. You can walk to Old Side (Harbour) however taking a taxi is not dear and the drive there is fairly short. Unless you are planning to go to places such as Manavgat or Kumkoy or perhaps Belek, you wont need a car. The local people are very nice and helpful, so are the residents of Lymra. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay.

My family of 5 adults & children stayed in this apartment from 6th August to 22nd August and loved everyday of our holiday. Before we arrived we kept thinking there had to be something wrong with the apartment because it was so cheap, but other than a few really minor things like no big saucepans, no chopping board and no full length mirror in the main bedroom still did not stop us from having a fantastic time. Everything is so on hand, shops bars and restaurants. The residents living above us were very friendly and helpful. The only other comment I would make is that you definitely need more sun beds, 2 between 6 is not enough - my husband and I would lie on them in the morning and the kids kept trying to pinch them. We are definitely thinking about going back next year. Thanks for a brilliant holiday.

Visited end of July til early August 09, Weather exceptional over 40 most days. Pool welcome relief and clean, kids enjoyed as had to themselves most of our stay. Very quiet location but close enough to beach, bars and restaurants.Appartment was very well equipped with plenty of room.Have and would recommend to friends and family looking for a good family holiday or a couple looking for a nice quiet relaxing break. Locals very friendly and helpful. Local transport cheaper than taxis and although can be crowded quite comfortable. 9TYL for four people to get to Mangavat market Mondays and Thursdays BUT you do need to barter.

Myself and my sister stayed at Lymra for a couple of weeks from the end of June. Were no strangers to Side but wanted a change from our usual hotel...and what a great find this was. If like us your looking for rest and relaxation then this is the perfect place to stay. Only a short walk to restaurants, shops and bars yet we found the apartments very quiet and peaceful. The only residents were friendly but there was only a handful of people staying the same time as us so we had the pool area to ourselves for a lot of our stay. Also because a lot of the surrounding apartments were empty you didnt feel overlooked or hemmed in. The apartment itself is fantastic we were spoilt for choice in bedrooms being just the 2 of us but this can easily accomodate 6 people without finding yourselves tripping over each other. All the areas are very well equipped and modern. In fact we couldnt fault it. Theres plenty of storage space and hangers for your clothes, enough surfaces for your toiletries and such. The beds are large and very comfortable and theres more than enough bedding/towels. The bathroom facilities are fantastic we felt very spoilt with the jacuzzi bath, and unlike hotels this had an endless supply of hot water which didnt turn cold if someone else is showering at the same time. Downstairs the lounge area is spacious and has a great selec tion of DVDs and books if you fancy a night off the cocktails. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the dishwasher and washing machine came in very handy. However theres so many restaurants to try dining in seems like an insult. All in all we felt as if we had been pampered with this fantastic apartment so much so that we were already planning our return before we had even left.

My family (husband and 2 sisters) had a very good holiday in this lovely, well-designed split-floor apartment. It comprises a large, airy sitting/dining/kitchen room with 2 large windows and a glass door to the patio, pool and garden. The main bedroom upstairs is large and has a king-size bed and loads of wardrobe space. Again, the room is airy and very light due to lots of windows and the glass door to the balcony. There is also a smaller, but perfectly good, twin-bedded light filled room upstairs with lots of built-in wardrobes and its own balcony. The upstairs bathroom/toilet, with separate shower, is very large and luxurious - we all enjoyed the jacuzzi bath! There is a double bedroom downstairs off the sitting room with a window overlooking the garden and a patio towards the side of the building which catches a lot of light in the late afternoon. There is also a well fitted, good-sized shower/toilet downstairs. The kichen is well stocked with washing machine, cooker, dishwasher etc and has lots of worktop space if, like us, you do a lot of cooking. The apartment is in a very good location near to shops - butcher, fishmonger, excellent greengrocer and fresh bread is on sale less than 5 minutes walk away from the nearest supermarket - which is small but well stocked with most things. The residence is quiet and just what you need to re-charge your batteries, but if you want a lively time there is always the local discotheque 10 minutes walk away - I understand that its the biggest in Turkey! There is also nightly entertainment at the local bar Delos, where the manager Jack and the staff are friendly and great fun. Food is very good here and there is a large range of drinks on sale. They also have free wi-fi internet access and will supply a laptop if you didnt bring yours. When we were happy to have a night in, there were lots of paperbacks and DVDs in the apartment and a large TV. There are loads of other good bars and restaurant within a short walking distance of the apartment and even more if you get a bus or taxi to the old town harbour area, where you will also find shops selling a fabulous range of leather bags, shoes, belts as well as designer clothes and jewellery, and the usual tourist-type shops. The big surprise for us was the number of roman ruins everywhere, especially in the harbour area. We had excellent communication with the owners and the local agent who supplied the very good airport pick-up. When we went in April/May the weather was much warmer than we were expecting, about 27 degrees C / 80 degrees F and it was sunny nearly every day. We went to the beach on a few occasions and it is only about 10-15 minutes walk from the aprtment. At that time of year it was a bit windy to really enjoy it so during the day we spent a lot of time around the pool, which then was very cold but refreshing, but Im told it is warmer from end of May onwards. There are some permanent residents living in the Residence who are very friendly and helpful. All-in-all, we loved it and will book it again. The only thing my sisters and I missed was a full-length mirror!
