Augustus village is a very special gated community situated on a hillside near the traditional Turkish village of Tasagil between Side and Belek. There are delightful landscaped gardens and courtyards and nine swimming pools on site including a large pool and 8 other small pools. It is a very friendly resort with a small shop for basic provisions and a new restaurant and Pool bar overlloking the largest of the swimmimg pools. Families, couples and friends can all have a lovely peaceful holiday here enjoying relaxing on the quiet and peaceful site or visiting the many attractions in the area.

The villa itself is a semi-detached property built in a characterful local style with white walls, climbing bougainvillia and red roof tiles. On entering the villa you come into a large, open-plan area with a full height atrium giving a very airy feel. There is a large dining area with table seating six people. The fully fitted kitchen with all appliances also has a breakfast bar. There is a downstairs cloakroom with lavatory and washbasin and a utility room housing the washing machine, clothes airer, ironing board etc. Double doors lead from both the dining and the living areas out to the spacious tiled terrace which is equipped with loungers and outside dining furniture. From the terrace there are spectacular views to the Taurus mountains. A decorative marble staircase with wrought iron balustrade leads upstairs to the galleried landing overlooking the dining area. The master bedroom is spacious and airy with 2 sets of french doors leading out to balconies at either end. The second twin bedroom is also a good double size and is fitted with a wardrobe. Finally there is a modern bathroom with a power shower cubicle, full-size bath with shower over, wash basin and lavatory.

Golfers will be in their element as the resort is within easy driving distance of Belek with its many championship golf courses including the new Nick Faldo course. There are also many beaches with watersports such as paragliding, jet skis, underwater diving and yachting. Fizz beach is the nearest public beach approximately 15 minutes drive from the resort. Away from the beachfront you can visit the stunningly beautiful Koprukay Canyon National Park with white water rafting and fishing available .

There are many special places of interest in the Belek/Tasagil area. Here are just a few of them:

* Manavgat waterfalls - these spectacular waterfalls are found nearby on the largest river in Turkey

*Perge - the second biggest ancient city in Anatolia. The ruins of the city are vast and although excavation started in 1946, still today the city has not been fully uncovered.

* Side is also a classical site with ancient ruins, a Roman theatre, Agora, Roman baths and the much-photographed Temple of Apollo. It has a picturesque harbour with a good selection of restaurants and two sandy beaches.There are also many shops selling clothes, jewellery, carpets and rugs as well as many other things.

*Aspendos - the amphitheater of Aspendos is one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world with 98% of its original construction. It is impressive and well worth a visit. Evening concerts are held near to Aspendos in the season.

*Hip-notics cable park - A huge water park with 3 man-made lakes with a cable pulley system for water skiing.

*Antalya old town is a fascinating place to visit with bazaars, winding streets with many restaurants, ottoman buildings, hotels, shops and a very picturesque harbour.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a north facing garden, a north facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
