The marina was opened in 2003 and is well worth the visit. Even if you are not interested in boats or yachts there are plenty of things to do; a great range of shops, bars, restaurants and a lovely pool that is filled with fish to feed.
The valleys and hills surrounding th town offer beautiful natural surroundings for horse riding and pony trekking. One of the best places is Countryranch which has 27 well looked after horses. The horse riding at the ranch is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders; pony trekking for kids and Horse Safari tours for adults (3 routes)
Regular buses connect the resort with the nearby villages and Bodrum town. The Dolmuses run till about 5am in high season and out of season this varies. The Dolmus station is situated behind the Migros supermarket in the centre.
Many bars provid a lively nightlife. While the best night clubs can be found in Bodrum there are two night clubs in town.

The summer season begins in April and continues until the end of October with hot sunny days. Unlike other Turkish resorts, the climate here is mostly breezy and is renowned for its clean, cool air, offering welcome relief from the heat of the sun. Being so close to the sea the villa benefits from the cooling Imbat breeze which blows off the Aegean Sea. This means that the climate feels more comfortable compared to other Turkish resorts further south, even during the hottest months of July and August.
