The house is spacious and airy and nicely decorated. Feels just like home. The top floor terrace with sunset views over the bay is just marvellous.
The neighborhood is lovely and the inhabitants were all friendly and smiley. We felt very safe and welcome.
Yalikavak is a nice city - not overrun by foreign tourists. Its easy to get there, either by feet or by minibus. With a small child on tow, Id recommend renting a car - Yalikavak has several opportunities.
Beware that the entire area is a mountain - the hills are steep, so if youre in very poor shape, you might work up a sweat when walking home from the beach. We took it as a nice opportunity to get some exercise though :)
All in all a GREAT vacation get-away! Would definately recommend the property to eveybody!

It is the best place to rest for people who prefer a quiet holiday away from the busy resorts. The villa is wonderful, the beach is with few people, the neighbors are respectable Turks. Weve been there for 3 weeks, with two children, 7 and 3.
And if you want good fish restorants and activities, you can find it nearby, in Yalikavak, just 5 minutes to drive.
Well keep the only fond memories and that Turkish summer will be warming us during our long cold winter.

just got back from a wonderful two weeks at this villa, the house was gorgeous full of charcter, i was very surprised when we arrived as the villa is so much bigger than we expected excellent value for money. the villa is in a gorgeous location with wonderfull views. we brought our two kids aged 8 and 11 and they loved it, they played every evening with the local children who lived in the complex. staying in this villa gave us time as a family to really relax. we didnt have a car but to honset we didnt need one as the local domas is right on your door step.. you will love the town full of gorgeous restaurants and places to sit and watch the world go by. i would highly recomened this villa we hope to get back next year.

This a pretty basic, but lovely, homey and unpretentious villa. We spent 2 weeks with our 2 children aged 10 and 13 in early April 2010 in this villa and had an absolutely wonderful time. The description on the website is absolutely accurate, you will get exactly whats written on the box, which can be summarised by a really decent, well kept house, fully equiped with all commodities and attention to details (as to include towels, good quality bedding, soaps, toilet paper and even cupboards with the basic food supplies, which is really handy).
The view from the roof terrace is stunning!
The villa is situated about 3 km from the lovely harbour town of Yalikavek, so I would recommend that you rent a car - as we did - for the duration of your stay, though it is not essential. The agents handling the house were wonderful, very welcoming and helpful with tips and directions, checking on us on a regular basis to make sure everything was going smoothly. A great local contact.
Overall, I highly recommend this place, especially for a family who wants to chill out in a quiet and relaxing place. Excellent value for money!

Such a nice change to be away from the usual holidaymaker accomodation and in a more natural surroundings.
The house is sweet and comfortable and quite well located a hundred yards to get the dolmus bus at the bottom of the hill, wand quite walkable distance to town and beach.

Chose completely the wrong property- I was looking for a brand new build with pool, and was disappointed with this homey property.
