Just back today........and I must admit...the Villa was everything and so much more...beautiful ! Wife,myself, two sons, daughter in law and our 3 year old grandson on a family holiday...we could not have asked for anything more. The weather was scorching and the pool (which was spotless) felt like a trip to paradise. We were met by Rhoda who was very helpful, pleasant, and friendly. Great time from the word go.

Great holiday, loved the villa, Alan & Rhoda were very accommodating. The beach in La Marina is the best in the area, lifeguard, restaurant, beach shack for drinks (only problem is no shower). Went on a day trip to Guadalest, beautiful place..

Once again, an excellent 2-week holiday. The villa was absolutely spotless with plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The help given by Alan and Rhoda was, as usual, exceptional and helped us enjoy the stay even more the second time around. Their advice to visit Santa Pola and Guardamar was taken and we thoroughly enjoyed both places they are only a short distance by car away.. We will be returning and we have recommended the villa most highly to all our friends.

The villa was absolutely brilliant. In fact, it was so good that the kids wanted to spend the whole time there. The pool was a god-send, particularly in the heat of a Spanish summer the villa was in immaculate condition it has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday and the caretakers were extremely helpful.
If you are looking for an outstanding family villa for up to six people within striking distance of Alicante then look no further! Would I recommend to a friend? I already have!

fantastic restful trip - lots of walking, eating and drinking - Villa beautiful, clean, very comfortable and had everything we wanted - even a bookcase full of books. Pool was cleaned every couple of days, We will be going back and highly recommend it to friends and family - thanks for the welcome pack

The villa was exactly as described and much better. We were so pleased we choose this villa for our short stay. Alan was extremely helpful with all our questions and nothing was a problem for him. The pool was fantastic. We really can’t fault this villa at all and we are already looking at booking again. But this time we will be going for longer. The photos on the website do the villa no justice at all and in our opinion it is understated. It is totally idyllic and beautiful. There were six of us, all adults and there was plenty of space and we were never under each others feet. We have already recommended this villa to family and friends who are all interested in booking. Thank you to the owners for letting this fantastic villa. Five star villa highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in this area of Spain. Alan and Rhoda were extremely helpful and couldnt do enough for us to ensure our stay was everything we hoped for. The villa is beautiful, the pictures on the website do not do it justice so we were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The villa had absolutely everything we needed, so much so it was difficult to leave on some days. We hired a car which I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see a bit more of the area. La marina itself is fairly quiet but there are restaurants and bars and shops within walking distance from the villa. We also enjoyed trips to Guadamar, Santa Polo and Benidorm and Altea in the car. Our party consisted of 4 adults and a 2 year old and I can honestly say we all found the holiday really enjoyable but most of all relaxing - no mean feat with a 2 year old abroad! This is thanks to the carefully thought out layout and contents of the viila and the most helpful housekeepers, Alan and Rhoda. Many thanks for an amazing holiday, we would definitely consider returning and have already recommended it to friends and family.

First time to this property, 2nd time at "La Marina." Very impressed, good position, privacy and lovely pool. Had a great time. Used the kitchen which was more than adequate with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Pool toys and other games provided. TV excellent with "Sky Sports." Clean and well presented. Lovely to meet up with Rhoda, Alan and Rachel from our previous visit (they look after this property as well). Very friendly. Plenty of help and advice re places to visit, things to do, and also package re this written in villa. Cant understand previous complaint re cleaning fee because clearly written in agreement on booking and worth having because even if kept clean during the stay still requires proper cleaning, towels and bedding.
Wouldnt hesitate to return. You have a great villa Grant and Jackie.

An excellent, well kept and spacious villa which provided our family with a fantastic holiday.
The pool (kids loved it) was a welcome break from the heat with a lovely cool veranda in the evenings.
There a host of activities available though you will require a car.
All in all a great villa, excellent location, with a friendly and helpful welcome !

Well talk about a wonderful holiday in a beautiful villa, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the villa and fab pool. It was absolutely immaculate and spacious. It was our 2nd time in the area and we will definately go back again. Alan and Rhoda were available to us at all times but everything was so laid on we didnt even need to call them. Many thanks guys for the Sat. It made our holiday. So thank you Grant and Jacky for the use of your villa and have a wonderful holiday yourselves.

This was an absolute fantastic holiday that we all enjoyed immensely. The villa was equipped with everything you needed and shops for day to day living were within a short walking distance. The villa is located in a very quiet area yet only a 10 minute walk and you are at a variety of restaurants and bars. The pool is a definite asset and is maintained immaculately by Alan who maintains the property along with Rhoda. They were a tremendous source of information and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this villa and area to anyone who wants a stress free holiday.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lemon Tree Villa. The area itself was very clean and tidy, and the Villa was incredible. It had all the facilities of home and the added bonus of the private swimming pool.
It is in a good, central location, not far from the airport and is not too far to drive to Alicante, Benidorm or Cartegena.
We are already looking at booking again for next year.

We found Lemon Tree Villa to be absolutely as described on the Web Site. We have stayed in a number of Villas across Europe which have all been good. Trying to seperate them all is difficult but for us this one was certainly the best presented. It was absolutely spotless in every sense and a credit to the owners.
The surrounding area suited both myself and my wife, pleasantly quiet but within easy reach of both the beach and shops.
We would happilly recommend the villa.

FROM BOOKING THE VILLA TO THE END OF THE HOLIDAY EVERYTHING WAS HANDLED VERY WELL.
GREAT INFORMATION FROM OWNER WITH EASY EMAIL CONTACT DETAILS.
VILLA WAS EXCELLENT AND ALAN LOOKED AFTER US VERY WELL NOTHING WAS TO MUCH TROUBLE AT ALL 24 HOURS A DAY !!
WE HIRED A CAR TO TRAVEL MORE AROUND THE AREA AND WOULD SAY TO ANYBODY GOING IF THEY WISH TO SEE MORE OF THE AREA THEN A CAR IS A MUST.
EASY TO GET TO FROM AIRPORT WITH VERY EASY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND PICTURES FROM THE OWNER.
WOULD LIKE TO GO AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

The villa was extremely well equipped and provided first class, comfortable accommodation for my party of six adults. It more than lived up to its rather modest description. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to anyone wanting an economical, stress free relaxing holiday.
We spent a most enjoyable week relaxing and dividing our time between the pool and the nearby beach.
Thanks to Alan and Rhoda for the warm welcome and making themselves available during the stay and to Grant for providing fool proof directions to the villa.

An excellent villa.
We were very well looked after by Alan and Rhoda. We could not fault the villa in any way.
Restaurants and shops were within walkiing distance but a car would be needed to reach the coast and to visit yet more restaurants.

Fab villa, fab pool, fab holiday! Thanks to gran t for his patience with all my questions and for letting us rent his gorgeous villa. We had a most relaxing time and the kids loved the pool and the dvds supplied for when the sun was too hot and they stayed indoors!
Thanks also to Alan and Rhoda who take care of you when you get there - made us very welcome, couldnt be more helpful and helped us relax more knowing we could contact them if anything went wrong.

The villa is well equipped and has everything you need for a family holiday. Facilities are close by and the villa is in a nice quiet residential area. The swimming pool is a fantastic asset even though the sea is a 10 min drive away. I would defiantly recommend this to family and friends. A fantastic holiday.

We enjoyed a great week in the Lemon Tree Villa, the weather was great, the villa was excellent and the pool was fantastic!! The pictures on the website do not do the villa justice. There were 4 adults and 2 children and we all enjoyed a very chilled out week. We unfortunately did not rent a car and would highly recommend this so you can enjoy the surrounding towns, there were plenty of places to eat in the near vicinity, but for shops / nightlife you would need to travel further. There are supermarkets near by which have everything you need for villa life, the barbeque was enjoyed in a lazy day/night spent at the villa!!
I would recommend the Lemon Tree Villa to anyone, especially if you are looking for a chilled out holiday as this villa has all you need :)

The villa was the perfect place to relax, we spent a few days at the villa as we had to drag the kids out of the pool. Aqualandia was a fantastic day out and we all tried 'go karting' just down the road which was a big hit. We will recommend to all our friends.

Thank you to Alan and Rhoda for a very clean villa. Had a fantastic relaxing time and the pool is great. For a day out I would recommend Terra Mitica Theme Park up by Benidorm (45 min drive). Great restaurants in the area.

Amazing villa with great attention to detail which meant we had a stress free family holiday. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool every day. I can recommend Elche for a day out with younger children (take swim kit for the pool rides). The Pasty Shack was great for a lunch time bite and the Italian was superb.

Thanks for letting us stay in your villa, what a lovely place. On arrival greeted by Alan & Rhoda who had the villa prepared to perfection. Ideal place to chill and recharge batteries. This is by far the best family holiday we have had. The villa is lovely and has everything we could ask for. We didn’t do any day trips. No need to go as the pool was more than enough for the kids. They did however go Go-Karting near LIDL which was great fun. Highly recommend 2 restaurants the Bistro near Harleys and the Italian (La Faniglia) a few doors down from O’Neil’s. We loved it here and would love to come back.
