Location

Villa Sameira is situated in a quiet cul de sac within the popular Algarve resort of Vilamoura. Ideally located for golfing enthusiasts, the villa is only a five minute walk from Pinhal Golf course with a further five golf courses close by. There are local amenities within walking distance with Vilamoura’s chic marina and beach 2.5km and 3.5km away respectively. Vilamoura is an energetic, cosmopolitan resort, and indeed one of Europe’s major golf destinations. Plenty of other sporting and leisures facilities are on offer here, including an aqua park, horse riding stables, water sports and a shooting range. The resort centre has a huge range of night clubs, a casino and some excellent bars and restaurants. There is a mini land train which is a convenient way to move around the resort.

Vilamoura means, literally ‘Moorish Town’ and great care has been taken to ensure that the modern resort is developed in keeping with its beautiful natural surroundings. The resort’s beaches, Marina and Falesia, have fine white sand and a good range of restaurants, bars and toilet/shower facilities so you can spend all day relaxing beside the sea in comfort. Windsurfing board hire and water ski-ing are available during the main summer months and lessons can be booked if necessary. If you enjoy boat trips, try an excursion from the marina or visit the Algarve’s Big Game Fishing Centre. The resort is located beside a pine forest, and is surrounded by reclaimed wetlands and azure seas.

The resort also has an excellent selection of designer boutiques, shoe stores, sports outlets, perfumeries and jewelers. At nearby Loule, you can visit the Saturday market and browse the colourful stalls selling fresh local produce and traditional handicrafts. A little further afield at Guia near Albufeira, you will find the huge Algarve Shopping centre which has over one hundred shops selling a wide range of luxury goods and clothes. Algarve Shopping also has a hypermarket, bowling alley and a multi screen cinema screening films in English with subtitles.

Villa Walkthrough

Ground Floor:Villa Sameira has a pleasant open-plan living area with a large fireplace and a comfortable sofa and armchairs set around a coffee table and large rug. The television, with some satellite channels and a DVD player, sits in a corner unit beside the patio doors which open to a covered terrace overlooking the pool garden. Through a large open archway is a dining area with a table and chairs for six.

The kitchen has pine units and pale worktops. It is well-equipped with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

The villa’s three bedrooms are all well-furnished and are decorated in cool white. There is one double bedroom which has an en suite bathroom with a bath/overhead shower, WC and washbasin. Two further bedrooms have twin beds and share the use of a separate family bathroom.
Outside:The villa has a small but pretty enclosed garden which is planted with flowering shrubs and screened by a boundary hedge. A pathway leads from the front of the property, past a mature palm tree, to the pool garden at the rear of the house. The swimming pool is set in a paved terrace which has a built-in barbecue on the far side and exterior stairs to a charming roof terrace which is a great place to sunbathe. Adjacent to the villa, two steps up from the pool, is a covered terrace where you can enjoy lunch or an iced drink in the shade.
