Comfortable villa with additional benefits of attached apartment. Due to the elevated position, there are spectacular views from every window in the villa, which compensates for the very steep access around this well cared for complex. Although the pool is shared, the terrace was never over crowded, however some extra sunbeds would be beneficial. The local property manager was extremely helpful and ensured that everything was satisfactory as well as organising return airport transfers on our behalf

The villa was extremely spacious and had a wonderful view. However, the site did not make it clear how far it was to get into Yalikavak. Nor did it explain that there were over 100 steep steps from the main road up to the villa and then another steep slope before you got to the villa. whist my husband and I are quite fit, we went with friends and one of us absolutely loathed climbing the steps each time we returned from town. The advert needs to be changed to make this clear and then everyone can book their holiday in this knowledghe and acceptance. I would not want to take small children or elderly people. Taxis simply refused to go up the hill which leads to tyhe back of the villas, so there was no alternative but to climb up the steps if you wanted to go anywhere!

Great views and we loved the swimming pool next door. The house (no. 6) was comfortable and most things worked as expected (a couple of lightbulbs needed replacing but thats all). We appreciated the welcome basket/goodies when we arrived. We had a lovely time.
Areas for improvement were that 1) the floors in the house were not totally clean when we arrived, 2) the instructions to find the property were poor (e.g. telling us to turn left 20km after airport instead of right so we missed the turning!) and 3) although it was a rental property it would have been nice to have more of the essentials so that we didnt have to shop for them all (e.g. washing up liquid, bin bags, etc.). Overall these were small points though.
A word of caution for those driving - the hill up to the villas really is steep, even by Turkish standards. Our hire car (petrol) could only make it up the hill in 1st gear IF we started the hill with momentum and kept it up. We did try to take it more leisurely but the car literally ran out of power half way up and stalled in 1st gear when the accelerator was pressed to the floor. In our view this only added to the sense of adventure but I suggest its not for the faint hearted!
Yalikavak is a nice quiet area where the weather was perfect (we went mid August). It was up to 35C but always a dry heat with a continuous refreshing breeze.
Overall we had a really lovely time.

The pros
The Villa is located in a really nice area with an amazing view to the ocean. The pool area is really nice. The Villa is quite big. In general its a good accommodation. The next day of our arrival the Villa manager visited us and explained the general uses, which was ver helpful.
When you get there there is a very basic welcome pack. There is a small market at the entrance of the Villa.
The cons
We arrived in car and the address was not very clear, the parking lot is not located by the main entrance of the Villa, and you have to figure out how to get there or climb one million stairs, with your luggage.
There is no internet available
One of the rooms doesnt have air conditioning, and in summer is really hot.
There is no coffee maker.
In general the villa fits 6 persons, and the amazing view makes up for the rest of things not available.

There were a group of four of us booked this property for 4 nights. It was our first villa holiday and our expectations were very much exceeded.
Lovely clean property in a great quiet location with an amazing pool overlooking The Med
I will certainly look to use this service again when booking my next holiday and will recommend this property to any friends visiting Turkey.

Property is lovely, views amazing and pool was brilliant for us as a family, i have a 10 year old and 2 year old and they spent all day in the pool.
5 minutes on the local bus in to the major town and they run every 15 minutes.

The location of the villa, with panoramic views of Yalikavak bay, was superb. The adjacent pool certainly had the "Wow factor". The layout and facilities of the property were very good. The elevated position did mean climbing a lot of stairs from the coast road, so if this is a problem I would suggest hiring a car to get you up and down the steep access road. We managed well using local transport or walking into Yalikavak, which takes about 20 minutes on foot.

Very nice views from the swimming pool, clean and well organised. Located in the outskirts of the citz, it is needed a car but definitely a good choice for calm holidays

Stunning location and views. Clean and tidy villa with nice bathrooms. Pool and grounds very well kept by nice family. Lovely area to visit. Would be good to have curtains on balcony doors plus a radio. There are other rental properties on the complex that are cheaper. Had a lovely holiday and yes would love to visit again.

What a superb holiday! From being met at the airport by the car hire company and driven to the villa, to dro pping the car off at the airport, all arranged for us by the villa management prior to going, the holiday went like clockwork.
The villa exceeded our expectations and was clean, spacious, and had a magnificent view over the sea. The balcony was regularly used in the evening, as the whole family waited to view the next spectacular sunset!
The pool is large, exceptionally clean, (cleaned daily) and again has stunning views, whilst the gardens are well kept.
The villa was manged very well by a friendly and helpful family who were always available for local advise. A shop close by was handy for daily requirements, with Yalikavak being just a short (and cheap!) bus ride away.
The steps to the villa took a day or two to get used to, but were a big help in fighting off the excesses of the holiday, and to accessing the stunning views!
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this holiday, and in fact have done to anyone who will listen to me! Will definately go back.
