A modern, comfortable 2/3 bedroom detached family chalet
Completed in October 2007, our 2/3 bedroom chalet (1 double, 1 twin & 1 large double sofa-bed in the conservatory - 3rd bedroom), is part of a select development of similar properties nestled in a sunny valley beneath the Kreischberg ski area. The development has been built to a high specification in traditional timber style by a local builder. Many of the chalets have been purchased by UK or Irish nationals, who have all received a warm welcome into the Stadl an der Mur community.
The Ground Floor
Our chalet has 2 decking areas. The West-facing deck enjoys the rising sun over Kreischberg, whilst the rear, South-facing decking is bathed in sunlight all day. The garden at the rear of the chalet provides more outside space, perfect for summer BBQ's!
Having entered via the rear porch, guests have plenty of space to put their outdoor clothes & shoes, and store their ski's in the racking. The porch also houses our washing machine and tumble drier.
This area leads to the hall, where the stairs take you to the first floor and there are doorways to a downstairs W.C. and on into the living area.
The comfortable living area is open plan. It comprises of a fully-fitted modern kitchen, which includes a hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
In the dining area, the table seats 6 in comfort.
The light and airy conservatory faces south, enjoying all-day sun. It extends the living area and houses the TV, (with UK Sky Channels), DVD Player, (with selection of DVD's) & Playstation, (with collection of games).
However these items can be moved to the main living area, thereby allowing the room to be used as a 3rd separate bedroom utilising the huge double sofa-bed.
The First Floor
The double bedroom has a large double bed and views over Kreischberg. Perfect to get a good night's sleep after a hard day skiing, boarding, hiking, rafting, swimming, cycling...........!!
There is also plenty of space for hanging clothes and storing suitcases etc. An electric heater ensures the room stays lovely and warm even on the coldest of days.
The twin room has end to end beds and is also kept cosy by the electric heater. It overlooks the rear garden so is quiet and tranquil.
It also has plenty of space to hang up clothes and store away cases, with room to spare!
The bathroom is fully tiled. It has a full size bath, shower, W.C. and basin. Hot water is on demand, so you never have to wait for a relaxing bath or shower.
