We have just returned from spending two months at this condo and are in the process of booking again for next winter. That shows our satisfaction with Mango House and Caribbean Sun Beach Condos. Peter, Alexis and Nick are fine people, very friendly, easy to deal with and deliver what they promise.
Everything is as you see it in the pictures. The unit is spacious, VERY clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable. All of the appliances are newer and all work. The satellite TV reception, with channels from Canada, the UK and the US, and WiFi are excellent. There is lots of hot water (if you need it) and good water pressure. Most of the windows have security screens, all are screened for mosquitoes and the front and back doors have electronic keyless locks so security is not an issue. The unit is located in an upscale neighbourhood which is quiet, safe, well kept and friendly. A car is not necessary with two grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, shopping and bus terminal being only a 15 minute walk away. The unit also has beach chairs and an umbrella that may be used at the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. The outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off the beach sand or for just cooling off when sunning on the back deck. Each bedroom and the living room has a ceiling fan and the AC in the bedrooms works well and is quiet. I think the road noise will diminish as the construction north of the area is completed.
Thank you Peter, Alexis and Nick for making our booking and stay so easy and comfortable. We cant wait to get back next winter and enjoy our morning coffee on the front porch listening to the birds and watching the monkeys.
We would highly recommend this rental.

I travel to Barbados often (2-3 times a year) and this was the first time that I stayed in that part of the Island....it was incredible! The place was spectacular, close to the beach (amazing beach that is quiet-we saw turtles, tons of fish, and different species of crabs), grocery store, public transit, and local bars and restaurants. The local people were so kind and even more Peter. We even had a great outdoor shower that my boyfriend used exclusively and is now wishing he could still. We will definitely be back.....if allowed ) We plan to make it our yearly getaway.....Thank you so much Nick and Peter....Danielle, Dustin, Sara, and David

We have visited Barbados a number of times and were keen to stay near Speightstown and close to our favourite beach on the Island.
We certainly stuck lucky! Mango House cannot be faulted. The location is fantastic literally just across the road from the beautiful Heywoods Beach. The property has been thoughtfully equipped and is very well maintained. On arrival we were met by Peter. He was very helpful, attentive and made us feel very welcome indeed nothing was too much trouble during our stay.
I stayed with my daughter and 13 month old grandson and the propertys layout was ideal for us. Very suitable for children. Nick helpfully put us in touch with an excellent baby equipment hire company.
Speightstown is just a 5 minute walk away so easy to get to restaurants and the local supermarket.
The islands bus service is excellent (there is a bus stop right outside the property) and a ride on a reggae bus is not to be missed! You certainly dont need to hire a car but it is worth considering to explore the East Coast. Some of the beaches on that side of the island are breathtakingly beautiful and often deserted. I would certainly recommend MAH Car Rentals (they are very reasonable and reliable).
We would certainly stay at Mango House again.

My family and I decided to visit Barbados. We needed an accommodation that would accommodate all of us. During our search, we came across the Caribbean Sun Beach Condos (the Mango and Palm Tree Homes) in which these condos captured us and we decided to book both homes. We arrived at the beach homes and were impressed to see how nice the homes were from the outside. We entered the homes to find an amazing, clean and well kept place with all of the necessities to our avail. The beach is directly across the street from the homes which was not even a 5 minute walk away and was absolutely gorgeous. Going into Speightstown was a 10 minute walk away where we found the supermarket, gift shops, the bus terminal, etc. The cost of value for the accommodation was very reasonable for what they have to offer and all of our expectations were met. The accommodation description was very accurate and we were looked after very well and adequately by the staff. My family and I were very pleased and satisfied overall. We will definitely be booking again into the near future. We will also be recommending these homes to any of our friends and others who will be traveling to Barbados. Thanks again for helping us have a pleasurable stay on this wonderful island!!!

Our stay was very good. This is an awesome place. I grew up in Barbados so was familiar with the area. They were 4 of us, my girlfriend and our kids. The Beach across the street is hard to beat. We are already in the process of planning our next trip with some friends. The Local Owner Peter is great, very attentive. I highly recommend this place. It is a wonderful location and easy to get around from there.
The only thing I would recommend is to have a Blender to make some Tropical drinks to relax with on the porch and a portable standing fan.
PS any more info, you can contact me.

A fabulous condo in a relaxing location. The condo is bright, airy and spacious. It is well equiped but could do with a few more glasses for all the cooling drinks that are needed!
The area is very quiet and the main road at the back of the property is well used but not too busy. Speightstown is a ten minute stroll away which has all you need. Check out Cassareep for a quiet drink and tasty food right on the beach. Fishermans Pub is relaxed and good value. Wednesday nights are fun with dinner and a show or go along later and join the locals on the dance floor. Buses run constantly from Speightstown along the coast road to Bridgetown and anywhere else in between.
Mango House is very near the fantastic Heywards Beach which our two children loved. There are no facilities at this beach but a lady serves delicious home-made food and drinks from her van at 11 a.m. in the parking area. Well worth a visit.
All in all we had a fantastic time, were well looked after by Peter and his wife and would recommend this property to anyone. There is an identical house to rent next door too. We are planning to go back and book both houses. We have a list of friends who want to go with us! Happy days.

Great place, service, location, neighborhood, beach access. Place is clean and new in a very nice neighborhood. Front of house is on Caribbean Drive, a small side street, so your entryway is quiet and shielded from the main highway. Back yard, with outdoor shower, fronts on beach road. A large back deck and front porch. We took walks through the neighborhood every morning said hello to the friendly neighbors and even saw green monkeys one day. From what we saw, Heywoods is one of the best beaches in this part of the country and has a snorkeling reef 100 yard offshore. Many other beaches, like Mullins, are near the road or a crowded resort but this one is shielded from the road by the very beautiful and new marina. We saw people coming in on boats to snorkel at our reef. Im not sure how anything could have been better. Thanks to Nick and Peter. Will be back.
PS - They have a very cost effective and responsive company that provides baby furniture if you need it.

This was our first time renting a condo rather than staying in an all inclusive resort and we were not disappointed at all. As I matter of fact, I believe we seen a lot more than had we stayed on a resort. The condo was very clean and well kept in a quiet neighbourhood. It was close to the beach and water activities. The town was close by as indicated (a short 10 min walk). The local people are very friendly and always willing to help. Peter was great and went out of his way to help out. He was only a phone call away. We travelled on the regular transit buses quite a bit - amazing for only $1.50 bajan where you can go. I would recommend this condo to anyone and I will definitely be returning (hopefully next year)! Thanks Nick and Peter, you were both very helpful. Gloria, Angie, David and Angela.

I stayed in this delightful holiday house for 10 days in early December 08 with my husband, sister and brother in law and I have to say it was one of our best ever holidays.
Peter, the owner, was extreamly attentive and helpful. He not only offered lifts to and from the airport but also arrived at 4am on a Sunday morning to take us to Bridgetown to do the Barbados marathon.
Because of the location of the house too you get more of a sence of the true Barbados. The beach is about 2min. walk across the road which means you can come and go several times a day and not worry about getting baked in the sun. The local busses went from just by the back gate and were cheep and very frequent. We only hired a car for a day so as we could explore the north of the island and otherwise managed on local transport.
Our favourate restaurant was a local one in Speightown called Cassareep cafe on the beach. It was very cheep and extreamly welcoming. Another was in Bridgetown on Bay st. called Dakar Restaurant and Bar. Again this is not a posh expensive place but the welcome and service we recieved when we stumbled upon this bright orange/white Malibo eating house was one of the things we will remember forever.

This is the best vacation location that I have ever stayed at. My family and I were so satisfied that we already making preparations for our next visit. The property is extremely modern, very clean and contains amenities to make one feel as if you are in your own home. The owners are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I cannot speak enough of this vacation spot. You absolutely must book the vacation property as soon as possible.

We had a lovely time in Barbados, the villa was airy and spacious and had everything you need, it was in a lovely location away from the main tourist areas, but easy to get to them, the buses are very reliable, as there were 4 of us we used taxis which were inexpensive. Peter was very helpful and was always on hand if you needed him.

First off, we'd go back in a heartbeat, both Peter and Nick were very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. We highly recommend having Peter pick-up from the airport. It was great to have a guided, stress-free drive to the condo. Very nice new & clean condo with all the amenities you'd ever need. We rented a car and explored a lot of the island's beaches, and in our opinion the nicest beach was right across the street. The beach was nice and quiet with excellent snorkeling (we saw a sea turtle on our last afternoon there). The weather was absolutely fantastic and the sunsets were gorgeous. The only two drawbacks which we noted (and actually already knew about) were the barking dogs (next door) and the busy street out back. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and will definitely return.
Owner reply:
Dear Kendra And Andrew,
Thank you for staying with us and we are glad you had a great
time. We were a bit surprised that barking dogs next door disturbed you because there are no neighbors to the immediate left , right or front of the condo that own dogs. This is the first time a guest has mentioned this to us. We are sorry for any inconvenience but these are circumstances beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you next year.Thanks.
Nick and Pete

What can we say that has not been said already. It is all true! A spacious house 200 yds from a beautiful beach. Peter was very helpful and knowledgable and we had a great time. The property is also 300 yds from the Almond Beach Village, where it is possible to purchase day passes and enjoy the all-inclusive facilities on offer, at a fraction of the cost of staying there. We also recommend the 'Cool Runnings' Evening Catamaran Cruise from Bridgetown (NB: only runs on Wednesday.) We will be back.

The villa was great , the pictures are good on the website, but do not show you how big the place is, with the cathedral ceilings it is great to relax in the living room. Internet connection was a nice bonus and we kept in touch (and gloated) with friends and family. Nice quiet location, but only a 10 minute walk to Speightstown, for grocery shopping , lunch and dinner. Hole town is a 10 minute drive and still has great restauarants. As described Haywards beach is across the street, where the Almond Beach resort is, and again easy access, and then nice to be able to shower off the sand when you get back to the villa, in the outside shower room. The villa has full kitchen and all the utensils to manage your own cooking, if you choose too :)
We had a great relaxing vacation and would recommend to all, it was nice to have one of the owners on the island, and great to have him pick-up, when you arrive in the evening, we also appreciated him stopping off so we could buy groceries. Always round a great experience !

The property was an excellent value for the money. We thought we would have better access to the beach, but we were NOT misled by the owners-we just assumed. The property was clean and very convenient with the washer and dryer, the computer and all the amenities. Our contact, Peter, was outstandingly helpful and contributed to making our stay very enjoyable. We loved Barbados!!

This excellent property was even better than we expected, very large, well equipped and immaculately presented.
Owners were very helpful meeting us at the airport and even taking us to buy a few groceries on our first night.
We will definately stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

The poperty was clean and tidy on arrival. We were met on arrival by the owner (Peter) who took us around the property and made recommendations of where to go within the local area. My wife and daughter did not not know what to expect and were very pleased with the high standard of the accomodation; my daughter was especially pleased with the internet access! The open plan kitchen, living and dining area were more than large enough and well appointed, as were the bedrooms. Plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The bath room and 'powder' room were also very good. The property has a nice setting and is within 3 minutes walking time to Heywood beach, which had plenty of watersports available. Although away from the main tourist area of the Gap, we found Speightstown had everything we wanted and Holetown (about 10 minutes by car) was also a very nice town, with reasonable shopping (you can also get a cheap but excellent takeaway lunch from one of the food vans that parks outside the medical centre). We had a rented car and any part of the island was easily reached. Rather than go to Oistons on the Friday we went to Moon Town in St Lucy (about 5 mins by car) and had an excellent fish fry followed by an entertaining Karaoke evening in a 'pub' across the road with the locals. I would also recommend the Barbados Nature Reseve (about 15 minutes by car). The property is quite near the road, but to be honest, you don't notice the road noise as the road is only busy during the day and we were so tired in the evening we probably would have slept through a hurricane! All in all, if you want a holiday away from the busy tourist area, then I would recommend this property.

This place is stunning! The pictures only give you a glimpse of its beauty! The owner was incredibly hospitable and did everything to ensure our comfort. He picked us up and took us back to the airport! As a courtesy to us, he even stocked the fridge with breakfast foods for our first day – this saved us from getting up early and rushing out to eat! What great hosts (then again, I could tell from the prompt reply to my first inquiry, that this would be the case)! The beach…ah! Yes! It is a mere 2-3 minute walk. I spent lots of time there and then came home to long languorous showers outside – that, to me, was a keeper on a hot day! I also enjoyed the amenities (tennis and golf) across the street at the renowned, millions-plus Port St Charles where, even the restaurant is fabulous and conveniently located across the street (on the nights when you feel like eating out). Ah yes, there is even a nice restaurant on the same street a few doors down, so you do have a few choices. This place truly felt like home away from home! See how fabulous the kitchen looks? You can tell much about the warmth of the place from this spot! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great stay in Barbados! I will definitely be back next year!

If you are looking for a home from home in Barbados, look no further. Everything you need is here. The beach and the sea really is 3 minutes walk and it's like nothing else on earth. Combine this with genuine people who are friendly and interested in making you feel at home and you have a winner. If you like to get about, you will need a car. We used Stoutes and they were excellent. Thanks to Nick, Peter and Pearl. Great to meet you, hope to see you again! Andrew, Lee & Robert.

The villa is light, bright, airy and spacious. Everything is new and spotlessly clean. Nice touches include having washing powder, washing up liquid, soap, shower gel, beach towels etc available which is usually lacking in most apartments. It has plenty of space around it too – much better than some of the crowded in beach condos we saw.
The location is great with a lovely beach just across the road and Speightstown on the doorstep. You could travel around by bus, but to get around the island more easily I would recommend hiring a car.
Peter, the owner, and his Mum, Pearl are lovely people, very welcoming and helpful.
If you’re dithering over which villa to book, book this one. It is better in the flesh than on the internet and unbeatable value for money. Have a happy holiday.

We had a wonderful time in Barbados, and at our Villa. The Villa owner met us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, which was spotless. He also gave us a complete tour of the Villa, and made us feel right at home. They even had eggs, bacon, juice, etc. so we could have a great breakfast in the morning, since we arrived at almost midnight. The Villa is actually nicer than it looks on the internet! Everything in the Villa looks like it is brand new, and is very well kept. That area of Barabados (across from Almond Beach Resort) is a great location, and is away from the busy crowded areas of Barbados (Bridgetown, etc.). We loved the beach just across the street, and they offer snorkeling trips, such as a glass bottom boat ride which included snorkeling with the sea turtles, and looking at a shallow ship wreck, all of which lasted about 1 hour or so. It had to be one of the great highlights of our trip! If we needed anything at all, or directions, the owner was nearby to give us directions, or point us to a great restaurant. We would definitely stay again! They were wonderful people to rent with, and renting from them went very smoothly. They are people that are trustworthy!
