What a lovely property. Very comfortable and easily became home from home for our 2wk stay in Antigua.
Ginger Lily is a few minute walk away from supermarket, banks, shops, bars and restaurants in Jolly Harbour. It was a leisurely 15min stroll down to the stunning beach. There are bikes to use, but we enjoyed the walk every morning. My husband did use the bike a couple of times, while i lazed by the pool.
The villa was well equipped in the kitchen and lots of little extras. Loved the ice packs and cool bags which we used to take drinks down to the beach every day. I dont think theres anything else that the owners could add to make your stay more enjoyable/comfortable. Loved the use of the mobile phone which can be topped up at the supermarket. Saved us having to programme in lots of numbers to our own phones. Even though we had checked out things to do and places to go before going to Antigua, the folder with leaflets, restaurant menus and phone numbers, etc was very useful.
Thanks to Amy & Margo who met us on arrival and were so helpful during our stay when we wanted to book trips or just needed some advice. Cant thank them enough. Also to the cleaners who come in once a week.
Thanks to Hayley & Andrew, for quick response to any emails that we sent before our trip. You have a lovely villa that we would not hesitate to use again if we go back to Antigua. Excellent holiday with a beautiful place to stay. Thanks.

This property was worth the money spent. It had everything that one would need in order to make this place feel like home. The only things about this place that I did not like was the communication when we first got there to collect the key. We were given the wrong numbers and it took a while to get the key for the place. Also the ants, which wasnt to much of a problem but having them completely removed would be nice. I really enjoyed the pool, patios and balconies. This place was within walking distance to everything you would need from the grocery store to the bank. There was a nice welcome basket when we did arrive, which did help us get through our first night there. I would stay here again and give this place 8/10 rating

we found the property itself to our liking in all aspects. We were, however, very impressed by the unexpected things such as the bikes, plug adapters, tv, i-pod dock - all the things you may think you need to take with you, bbut didnt.
The property is well laid out and well looked after with a great location within the resort.
The local agents get the balance right in my opinion - they are always there if needed, contactable by mobile telephone which is left in the villa for you - but not in your face or overpowering in any way.
All in all a very successful visit - thanks!

Gingerlily provided all the amenities one would find at home. The most outstanding features which led my partner and I to decide we would not only return to the island but this particular accommodation if available are:
Provision of cycling bikes which made getting around Jolly Harvbour and beyond quicker, easier and more cheaply.
One cleaner visit during period of the holiday.
Good accessibility of property management agency which provided peace of mind.
Villa plunge pool, great for cooling off while enjoy the warm days and evenings.
Welcome pack helped to start the holiday on a positive note and showed the thoughtfulness of owners/management agency.
The only unfortunate aspect was not being able to use wireless internet but I am not sure whether this anything the owners could rectify or was down to connection difficulties by internet providers. It is something that the owners should look into because it is a great additional rental point for the villa.
Many thanks to Andrew and Hayley

Ginger Lily is a lovely villa. The pool and BBQ made our stay the best yet on South Finger and we hope to return soon!

Lovely villa, well located in walking distance to everything you need including supermarket (200 yds max), harbour, beach, bars, internet cafe, gift shops, newsagents/chemist. The villa is clean with modern furnishings/decor and lots of little touches e.g. hair straighteners, CDs, books, gas BBQ, iPod doc and everything else you could possibly need. The cleaner, a local lady, was delightful and spent time explaining local traditions and recipes (we loved her and Naomi the rep from JHR was fab). We used the bicycles to cycle to a lovely deserted beach and would recommend Cocos for lunch or dinner and 20/20 beach bar to watch the sun go down over Redonda, Nevis and Monserrat. The plunge pool in the villa was just right and as we stayed for 4 weeks we found ourselves using the BBQ most days (the gas bottle didnt run out until the last day !!). Would we recommend it to friends ??? Well, yes but not if our future bookings are likely to clash - we loved it and will be booking again as soon as we can. Thank you, Bev & Ron Pettiford

The villa was lovely, with everything that you could need for your holiday...the owners were really helpful whenever I contacted them with my millions of questions, and Naomi at hotel management in Antigua was great.
The villa was a bit further from the beach than I had anticipated - but is close to the supermarket and the
commercial centre.

The property was up to expectation and good value, it was well equiped and of good standard. The use of the bycicles was a nice bonus plus the Ipod player was an unexpected extra. We also liked the pickup from the airport and the welcome on arrival at Ginger Lilly. I would advise that having only 2 tea towels is not adequate plus the towels although clean smelt a bit sour. We would recommend this villa to friends and book it again for ourselves. Overall the villa was very good and provided us with a wonderful holiday experience, regards Barbara and Ian.
