Luxurious rental home / apartment and ski lodge. Full home comforts in a relaxed and spacious ski chalet set in the high Andes, just one hour drive from Santiago, Chile. Enjoy the best skiing in South America, in the most appealing accommodation. Comprises two Four bedroom apartments - which can be rented individually or in combination (to create 8 bedrooms). Each apartment has large living room with large dining area and open plan kitchen; Large balcony facing South and West; 8 person open air heated Sundance Spa Jacuzzi on Balcony; Central heating with individual room thermostat controls; Log burning fireplace; All double glazed storm windows; garage space for 1 car - plus on street parking; maids room (adjacent to the garage).
Casa Farellones, Location
Located on a ridge at the southern edge of the village of Farellones, with panoramic views on three sides, Casa Farellones is five minutes walk from the ski lifts at Farellones (you can ski back) and five minutes drive from the ski base at La Parva or El Colorado (you can ski all the way back from here too). Valle Nevado (the third linked valley / resort in the area) is a 15 minute drive but can be accessed easily on skis from either El Colorado or La Parva ski areas.
Skiing and boarding are the main winter activities. There is ample lift serviced terrain in the 3 resorts, but if you feel the need to venture further, Helli ski services are available from La Parva and Valle Nevado. In summer mountain walking climbing or horse riding are available. We'll be happy to provide further details and make the necessary arrangements.
Unlike the ski base villages at La Parva and El Colorado, which empty out in the summer months, Farellones has many year round residents and the generally green and tree filled gardens make it a pleasure to visit in the summer months.
Casa Farellones, The Chalet, Middle Apartment
Casa Farellones is a four storey private chalet with total built area of approximately 690 square meters set in the village of Farellones, commanding panoramic and unobstructed views to the West and South.
The owners, normally resident in Thailand, use the upper two floors primarily during the ski season. The middle floor, which can be closed off from the main house as a self contained apartment, is available for rent at most times of the year.
Description of the Middle Apartment

Total internal floor area 156 Sqm, ( incl balcony, 1/2 garage and maid room = 263 Sqm.)
Suggested maximum occupancy 7 persons plus maid
The Middle Apartment can optionally be combined (by direct internal staircase) with the 4 Bedroom (sleeps 8) Lower Apartment on the floor below. If you have a group of over 10 + pax, please ask about this option.

Ideal car for mountains and skiing - equipped with rack for 8 skis (or 4 snow boards and 4 skis) and snow chains (though with the 4WD these are rarely required). Big enough for 5 passengers and luggage in comfort.

Casa Farellones prides itself on our friendly and attentive staff (a Chilean couple who have lived in the village for many years) who ensure your stay with us is a comfortable and enjoyable one.
Staff and Services
Maid service is provided daily. The maid provides full housekeeping services and can assist in preparation of meals. The staff can also arrange grocery shopping (from Santiago) one or twice a week as required.
