I have been to Larnaca Town numerous times - have a greek cypriot heritage. However, this time I found a great deal more litter - streets littered with soft drink cans, bottles and papers etc. Would be great if there was a clean-up campaign and people were more diligent with the removal of their rubbish. The beaches also need to be cleaned up - was revolted by the cigarette butts in the sand and by people throwing cans and rubbish out of their car windows whilst driving. Cyprus is a beautiful island - it would be a shame for it to be even more polluted.
