Very good location and we had a good time during our two week stay although the water pump broke, the hot water heater broke, the front door was difficult to open and shut, the electric kettle was full of lime scale, there was no TV signal, there are only two sun loungers and building work is going on nearby.

We stayed here for a week in May 2011. The property was everything we hoped for and more. The main living room is spacious and airy, with patio doors opening onto the garden, which is just a few feet away from the beach. The main bedroom also opens onto the garden its wonderful to be able to go to sleep hearing the waves crashing outside. The property was clean and tidy when we got there. Having a full kitchen was a blessing - not that I wanted to spend my time cooking - it meant we could stock up on snacks and salads, so we could spend the day lazing in the garden or on the beach and still have a nice lunch without having to go into the village. The village is a 15-20 minute stroll away. Its a pleasant walk long the beach path. Its worth taking a torch if youre walking along it at night, and I dont know if it would be very easy to negotiate in a wheelchair, but plenty of people wheel pushchairs and prams, so its not a problem if youve got very small children. Worth taking a car, because the bungalow is on the outskirts of a village that relatively isolated (Cyrpiots drive on the left, so British people whove not driven abroad have no worries). Theres a couple of mini-markets in the village, but theres a small supermarket a few minutes drive away in Polis. Latsi itself is a small fishing village, lots of fish restaurants, several tavernas, just a couple of bars, and a smattering of shops. We spent a truly lovely week here relaxing in the sun.

Firstly, I would updat e the photo on this page as you do not have any of the trees or shrubs shown and the garden is so much more mature now. The bungalow was very good, clean and comfortable. So the issues my friend and I had are small but in our opinion would make the property even better. No waste bins in either of the bedrooms, bathroom or lounge. No plastic glasses or beakers - so having a drink on the patio was a worry in case of an accident. The kettle had seen better days and even after a thorough de-scaling it still had "bits" floating in the water. If possible (I know cost is relevant) try to have some English channels on the TV. Even with the fantastic weather its nice to have something on in the background! I hope you dont think of these as criticisms more of suggestions. We will return again some time in 2012. Thank you.

we have been to this bungalow three times and each time we have commented on the lack of sun beds. we where a party of four adults and we needed four sun beds. I do not think this would cost a lot but it would make a diference to our stay. we did ask the agent about this but she said you only supply two. I think this is not enough for four adults. Also the tree that grows over the pirgular although very pretty was a mess all through the day we had to brush up. may be if you had a canvas shade.we found the broken rope around the garden could be replaced. we love using this bungalow and would again if there where four sun beds. I would like to add we love it there and had a fantastic holiday.

We stayed at this villa in June 2011. We had an absolutely brilliant holiday and our only regret was that it wasnt for longer. Latchi is great place to have a holiday in if you just want to relax, it isnt too busy, the beach was quiet. It is a bit pebbly and dro ps away in depth quite quickly, but we had beach shoes so this wasnt a problem. There are about five or six restaurants in the main harbour and the walk to the harbour is a pleasant 15 minute stroll. We didnt find the need to venture out of the resort. Everyone we encountered on our holiday was friendly and kind, we even got talking to the marine police in the harbour. Being so close to the national park meant that there is a long stretch of coast line with no development on it - perfect to hire a boat for a day, ride along to a bay or cove, anchor up, and do some snorkelling. The sea was clear and warm. We took a drive to find a quiet beach one day, only to realise the other beaches we found were not as quiet as the one right outside the villa. The villa itself is very well laid out. We didnt get bored of looking at the view from the living room, through the pergola, past the palm tree and onto the sea. The garden is much more luscious than it looks in the pictures now, and there is a large palm tree and vine affording plenty of shade in the garden area. The kitchenette had all the facilities you would want to use. With the exception of one night, we also sat in the garden and watched the sunset every night. It was a really romantic, tranquil setting. I would definitely recommend to friends. We hope to return soon.

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful property. The only thing that would have helped was a list of helpful numbers i.e for taxis, however Maria (who looks after the property) was very helpful and also let us stay an extra few hours on our last day.

Owner reply:
Thank you for your kind review we are so pleased that you had a lovely holiday. Thank you also for your suggestions for the house we greatly value the comments of our guests and we are pleased that Maria was able to assist you.

The bungalow was even better furnished than on the photos and met our expectations perfectly. It is right on the med with a beautiful quiet beach right in front of us. The beach has pebbles, like most beaches on this side of the island, but as we had deck chairs on the wooden deck right outside, it never bothered us. Is it walking distance from the town and restaurants (300m). Latchi itself is a small coastal town and we would have not preferred it any differently.

Owner reply:
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit your kind review on our property. We are very pleased that our house exceeded your expectations and pleased that you liked the furnishings! We have recently refurnished our house and are pleased that it met with your approval. Our guests particularly appreciate the location of our house as it is directly on the beach but very close to the Latchi Harbour and the restaurants. We do hope to welcome you to our house again.

The property is very well kept and tidy on arrival and the welcome pack is much appreciated. The proximity to the sea is what makes this property so appealing, we have been to this property for about the last four years. The umberella for the shade was a welcome bonus, but if there was a family staying in the bungalow more umbrellas would be necessary as it only just covered the two of us, or even better if the pergola could be covered in then this would be a a tremendous asset to the property. Again we would recommend this to friends but perhaps the outside area could be covered completely ensuring that all the family would have shade.

Owner reply:
Thank you so much for your kind review for our property. We try very hard to ensure that the property is appealing to our guests and we are very pleased that you choose to come back each year and that you would recommend it to your friends.
Some of our guests prefer the more private setting of our garden for their sunbathing, rather than on the beach, and for this reason we have chosen not to cover the whole of the garden. However, there is a tree in the garden, as well as the umbrella, which offers another shady spot for the benefit of our guests. However, we are grateful for you bringing this to our attention and we will buy another umbrella so people that want to use the veranda for sunbathing will have the option and also people who want more shade will have that option.
Once again thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and we look forward to welcoming you back to our house again next year.

What makes this property special is the location, right on the beach with beautiful sunset views and an easy walk into Latchi. The villa itself is quite basic, although it has everything needed. We did find the sofa and chairs to be very uncomfortable and some English TV would have been appreciated (the election was on), but we did not go there for those reasons. For most of the time we had no neighbours, when we did there was a lack of privacy as the gardens all overlook each other, this may be a consideration for some, we did not find it too bad. We would definitely revisit.

Owner reply:
Thank you very much for your review and we are glad that our property met your expectations and that you would definitely stay with us again.

With regard to your comments about the sofa and chairs we consider that the furniture is suitable for the location of the house as the house is on the sea front our guests enjoy going to the beach and the furniture is easily damaged. Also, we prefer to keep the price of the house attractive for our guests and if we had more expensive furniture we may have to increase the price of our house.
Because our house is actually on the beach we are not allowed to put a satellite dish on the roof of our house and there is a common satellite dish for the project which has various channels.

Once again, thank you for your review and we look forward to welcoming you again to our house.

You rent this property for the location, and I think you wont be disappointed - it is literally on the Beach. Latchi is a 10 minute walk away with around 10 places to eat, and is quietish and lovely. The only thing I would say is that the place is basic, the fixtures and fittings not the highest quality and that for the price I would have expected better quality. And probably a better TV reception. But forget all that and enjoy the view!

Owner reply:
Thank you very much for your review and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay. With regard to your comments about the fixtures and fittings, we do regularly updat e the fixtures and fittings and consider that they are good quality in relation to the cost of staying there. Thank you again for your comments and we do hope you come to our house again.

Overall a very nice place, excellent position on the beach and easy walk to Latchi. Some of the fixtures and fittngs were a bit tired and should be replaced.

Owner reply:
Thanks a lot for the review we are always pleased to hear from our clients and we are glad that you thought it very nice. It is only the last months that we have changed most of the electrical equipment including the fridge, DVD, television and also we have done landscaping. Thanks again for the review and we hope you come to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at bungalow No 4. It completely meets the advertising description and it is the ideal place for a family who wants to enjoy the beach and quietness in a child-friendly environment. The sea is very warm. During the night the humidity disappears, the temperature dro ps and the atmosphere clears to give you a breathtaking view of the stars it is something like combining beach and mountain holidays!

Owner reply:

The overall rating was excellent but we were very surprised that the safe was no longer in use even though it was still in the property it would perhaps be useful to have been informed by email before we went, as we had been before we presumed that the safe would still be usable as we had not been informed it was not - it is very inconveinent having to take our passports etc everywhere we went. There were no umbrellas at the property even though there was a base. The owner has obvioulsy put a climbing plant to cover the gazebo but this did not afford any shade even for just two people and even worse there were the black fire ants climbing up into it and falling onto us - so were were unable to sit under it. We, therefore, had to purchase two small umbrellas so we could have some shade. The property also had said there was a dvd player which there was BUT NOT leads were with it so we could not use that. Again I think when the owner confirms the booking perhaps it would definitely be useful to say there are no umbrellas and no safe. I believe on the website it now does not mention a safe.

Owner reply:
Thank you very much for your review and we are pleased you found our house excellent.

Please may we apologise for the fact that there were no umbrellas. We had provided umbrellas but it appears that someone had taken them. We have now purchased new umbrellas for the property.

Thank you for informing us that the DVD player was not working, we have now had this mended.

Because of problems that arose with other clients with the safety box i.e. locking their passports by their mistake, we decided not to provide the safety box and that is why it is taken also out of our web site.

Thanks again for your comments and we do hope you will come to our house again.
