This old farm stable was greatly restored and turned into a very comfortable and very clean accommodation by Teresa and Mick. The whole property is well maintained and all facilities are made safe even for young children, which helped the winding down process. In addition, we were very warmly welcome and taken care of by the owners Teresa and Mick. The swimming pool, game barn and all toys and patience Teresa and Mick provided the children with have made our stay a very relaxing and pleasurable one and we would highly recommend this property to friends.

The accommodation was simple, attractive, comfortable and represented very good value for money.
The pool was especially good: heated, clean and very well maintained.
The location was reasonably quiet, in the heart of a historic and very pretty, typically French village.
The owners, who live on the site, were very friendly and helpful. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this accommodation.

The accommodation was excellent and more than met its description. Mick and Terry are most hospitable hosts and ensured that we had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The location is very central to many places of interest.

A very good gite, well situated in a village with boulangerie, tabac and restaurant.
Good location for the many delights of the region and with the added bonus of a warm welcome from the resident owners.

Very attractive property with lots of character set in old barn/steading with shared use of great new swimming pool. The living room/kitchin area is spacious and importantly keeps cool in the summer heat. Competitively priced with easy access to village shops. Will appeal to those folk who want to vanish into real rural France for a week or so -but still have access to all the facilities .

Mick and Terry where extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Their property is comfortable, homely and a superb base for a family holiday. When the new pool is finished, this spring, it will have everything one could possibly want. Dampierre sur Boutonne village is pretty, quiet and all the amenieties are within 2 (literally) minutes walk. The chateau is undergoing renovations but it too will be open soon. Thank you villarenters, Mick and Terry for an enjoyable and very successful holiday-home buying trip.
