BEACH VILLA ANGELO - VARDIOLA VILLAS
Villa Angelo is set on the southern coast of the island of Kefalonia. This spacious brand new villa was designed and built to provide elegance and luxury. Vardiola’s location is simply stunning. There are views all around enjoying the green foothills and the majestic Mount Aenos at the east all the way down to the south to the cliffs and the long coastline of Avythos beach. There is a private footpath leading in to the beach just 50m away from the villa.
The villa which was completed in 2006 and were refurbished in 2011, feature 5 star facilities such as personalized concierge service, sports and leisure activities, private swimming pool, air-conditioning, wireless internet, access to the beach via a private footpath.
There are several traditional taverns and restaurants that offer excellent dining choices within an easy walk. You can order from fresh fish to local or international dishes. There are 2 mini markets that offer a wide range of food, drinks and supplies to make your stay comfortable without the need to go to the main town. There are also several bars that offer draught beer, cocktails, local wine and spirits and a relaxed atmosphere for your evenings.
If you want to stay close to the villa, you can make use of a shared tennis court within the site or stroll the 50 meters down to a private sandy beach via a private footpath. You can walk down to our exclusive beach or drive to the nearest beach which is 3 minutes away by car. There you will find 2 fish taverns and a beach bar as well as sun beds and sea bikes to rent and a life guard on duty at certain hours.
This 3-bedroom villa with a wooden attic was completed in 2006 and refurbished in 2011. A 15m2 hydro massage pool is heated and it’s exclusive to the guests of Villa Angelo. Right next to the pool there is a double bed studio available with independent access from main villa, for 2 additional guests at an extra charge, increasing overall bedding capacity to 8 people. There are sun lounges and parasols available and a well-maintained garden that also includes a fruit and vegetable allotment. A quaint chapel has been built near the private footpath that leads to the beach. There is also a shared tennis court within 400 meters of the villa.
This delightful two-storey villa, 150m2 in size was built in traditional Kefalonian architectural style. It has three bedrooms on the ground floor that consist of 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. The bedrooms have been elegantly furnished and have been fitted with wardrobes. The double bedrooms have patio doors leading to a shared balcony. There is a spacious bathroom on the ground floor with shower and bathtub and also a utility cupboard with washing machine, iron and board. The villa is designed to sleep 6-8 people and when necessary 2 extra single portable beds can be placed at the attic and a baby cot can be provided at an extra charge. A utility cupboard is also available that includes a washing machine, iron and board. A spiral staircase leads to the top floor that is open plan with glass patio doors leading to a massive and furnished balcony overlooking the hydro massage pool and Avithos beach.
The top floor consists of a fitted marble kitchen that includes a fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven, extractor fan, dish washer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The neighbouring dining room area will comfortably seat 8 people before guests can retire to the spacious living room with 37-inch plasma Satellite TV, DVD Player, stereo, internet access and a selection of reading material. A separate bathroom and shower are also on this floor. The furnishings, fittings and fabrics have been selected to compliment the dreamy aura of the location. There is air conditioning throughout that will guarantee comfort. For guests who wish to stay over the winter period there is also central heating and a marblewood burning fire place.
As shown at the photographs, an internal wooden staircase leads to a wooden attic in the loft area that has been finished to the highest quality. This provides extra space for a quiet moment or can be suitably furnished and utilised as an extra sleeping area.
On the same grounds as Villa Angelo, there is also a small studio at garden level. The self-contained studio, with its own entrance, has a double bed, fitted kitchen and a bathroom and shower. The studio is fully equipped, has air conditioning and will comfortably accommodate 2 people. This would be suitable for members of the group who may want that extra bit of privacy.
Villa Angelo in itself offers privacy for a family holiday. For wedding parties or large groups, there are two private and neighbouring properties that combined provide an ideal setting for a celebration or corporate event. Guests can share two or three villas with a combined sleeping capacity extending to 20 people. There is a quaint chapel, and wedding ceremonies and receptions have already been held on the grounds that will accommodate up to 150 people. Collectively, the villas are known as Vardiola Villas.

For wedding parties or large groups who wish to book two or three villas at the same time a special discount will be allowed. Unless otherwise agreed, the villa can only be occupied from 2pm on arrival date and must be vacated by 11am on departure day. A 25% deposit will be required to secure a booking with the balance being paid 4 weeks prior to the arrival date.
The secluded beach aside, the eco friendly Villa Angelo is located just a 3 minute drive from the golden sandy beach of Avithos with its sun beds, parasols, turtles nesting ground and water sports. There are several traditional taverns and restaurants that offer excellent dining choices within an easy walk. You can order fresh fish, traditional or international dishes.
Villa Angelo, near the village of Svoronata and many other villages, has many shops, tavernas, car hire companies, historical walks and organised excursions within close vicinity. Svoronata is located on the south west coast and provides an excellent base to explore the many beauty spots in Kefalonia. There is also easy access to our capital Argostoli to enable you to spend an evening of entertainment, boutiques and designer shops or simply ‘people watch’ in the main square as you enjoy a glass of excellent local wine.
Talking of wine, for the wine enthusiasts amongst us, a complementary wine tasting tour trip can be arranged at Gentilini Wines.
The ‘Agia Pelagia’ yachting marina is located only 4km from Villa Quarda and will prove of assistance to our guests from the yachting fraternity.
