Traditional Villa near the Beach with Large Terrace & Spectacular Sea Views

Situated next to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the south side of Tinos Island and ideally located near hotels and restaurants. This traditionally designed modern villa on two levels, would be the perfect place for your unforgetable holiday on Tinos Island.

You will love the magnificent Aegean views from the large South-facing terrace, with the stone table and built-in barbecue under the pergola. The traditionally designed sitting-room furniture around the corner fireplace, combined with the timber ceilings and seascape paintings, will enhance your feeling of being in an authentic Cycladic Home.

Despite its traditional look, this is a newly built modern villa with two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and roll-up fly-screens on all windows. The upstairs bedroom opens to the magnificent view of the terrace. The downstairs is a very large L-shaped room divided by an arch with two sets of twin beds at each end. There are fitted wardrobes and bathrooms on both levels..

The long sandy beach is only 5 minutes walk as is the nearest cafe and restaurant. Tinos town (5.5km) is under 10 minutes drive.

Fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes are served in the near-by restaurants. Fresh bread and pastries are available at the local bakery every morning. Sun-loungers and umbrellas can be hired at the beach. Tinos town is full of life with many restaurants, shopping streets, paved medieval alleys, traditional coffee shops, bars, and plenty of nightlife for all ages.

Apart from the impressive Cathedral and Cultural Centre in Tinos town, the marble-art museum in Pyrgos, the old Ursuline convent in Loutra; Halepas sculpture exhibition and folklore museums in the villages are well worth a visit. Popular summer festivals at the main square of the villages offer traditional music, wine and dance, where everybody is welcome.

Coach trips around the Island as well as boat trips to the Islands of Andros, Syros, Mykonos, Delos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini,are available on a daily basis.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Our family stayed at this property from July 2 - 10, 2012 and we enjoyed every single minute! The villa is in excellent condition, spacious and spotlessly clean. Kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked lots of meals in the Villa and it was always a trouble-free experience. There are two bathrooms and even a washing machine! We mostly used the downstair bedroom, since it was much cooler to sleep there. The villa is of course air conditioned but we liked it much better to sleep in the "cellar" with the windows open. The view from the verandah is a dream. We spent hours and hours just sitting there watching the moon, the Aegean and Mykonos Towns lights in the distance. Extremely romantic! The owners live nearby and they were extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. All in all we had a very pleasant holiday and if we ever decide to go back to Tinos, we will surely stay again at the Villa. By the way, Tinos is a wonderful island. Lovely beaches and beautiful mountain villages with breathtaking views. Thank you so much Mary and John!

We were so happy with the pretty villa, the best we have ever stayed in! Clean and fresh and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you need, including a washing machine. There is a choice of shower or bath and copious amounts of hot water! Comfortable bed with fresh cotton sheets and new fluffy pillows. The owners left us an amazing welcome pack including chilled wine in the fridge! With the villa being in an elevated position, it was so lovely to chill on the large sun terrace and enjoy the the sea views, which are amazing, or relax with a book. Just down the steep narrow road and not far is a lovely quiet beach to swim and enjoy the sunshine. We shall definitely be returning!

We have spent three wonderful holidays in this lovely villa on the island of Tinos. The view from this beautiful veranda out over the blue Aegean Sea during the day, and at night, the lights of far off Mykonos would be hard to beat. We enjoyed our stays in this most warm and comfortable house which has all the facilities one could need. With lovely Tavernas and the beach only a few minutes walk away, it is a quiet and peaceful place to spend a holiday. Lively Tinos Town with all its amazing restaurants and buzz is just a short drive away. It is the perfect base for doing some island exploration. Madeleine Kennedy Dublin

We stayed in this lovely typical Greek Villa in Tinos twice since 2007 and have recommended it to our friends. The Villa is situated in a lovely quiet area and has all the mod cons that made our stay very comfortable. The sea view from the terrace is magnificent and just a short stroll takes you to a lovely unspoilt beach situated in a sheltered cove. We loved the variety of restaurants on the Island and look forward to returning again. Ann and Dermot Keeley
