As a family we had a very good holiday. The grandchildren loved the animals, especially the donkey. The house and area around it was perfect for the kids to play in safety. Willie was a gracious host and most helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending the house to all friends and family.

Warm welcome from Mr. Willie McDonnell got us off to a very good start. We were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the house for an old farmhouse. It was tastefully decorated and really warm. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. It was very well supplied with everything needed for cooking and dining. The three en-suites were great particularly with a large number sharing the house. There is a separate ground-floor bathroom, however it cannot be used at night as that part of the house is about to be renovated and is without power. The are a few draughts in the kitchen / dining area which will also be taken care of when that old dairy annexe is renovated. The house feels really private and yet has a great view down to the Bride river and across the valley. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves and Mr. McDonnell could not have been more helpful.
