Torre del Guado Country House is an impressive stone manor house placed amidst the natural scenery of the Upper Tiber Valley, close to Arezzo–Cortona and within easy driving distance of Florence, Siena and other cities of art. The villa looks out at the magnificent medieval towns of Anghiari, perched on a hill, and Sansepolcro, birthplace of the great painter Piero della Francesca.
The villa’s accommodation consists of 2 suggestive reception rooms and 5 refined self-catering vacation-accommodations, of different sizes and typology, with excellent facilities. The whole holiday house inside very large secure beautifully maintained equipped gardens (20.000 mq) with the panoramic 15X7 swimming pool (open from May to September).
The farmhouse Torre del Guado, with its spacious apartments, with private kitchen, washing machine, and living room with sofa beds, is ideal for families ( if many familiar groups, the whole property can be rented), as well as for couples ( like honeymoon) or business traveller looking for one double bed apartment.
As well as relaxing and a base for touring, our holiday farmhouse gives you the possibility to experience unforgettable moments as only a place in Tuscany can and, with its reception rooms plus the park inside the spectacular tuscan landscape, is a superb birthdays, cerimonies and weddings location in tuscany (with optional catering service on request).
Museums, cultural sites, thermal baths, golf, tennis courts, horse-riding, shops, typical tuscan restaurants available at short driving distance.
The Torre del Guado villa can be rented as a whole or as 5 separate apartments.
Outside : In the centre of large and beautifully maintained gardens (20.000 mq), where you may stroll through vast green areas and enjoy a spectacular view on the tuscan landscape, there is the panoramic and equipped 15X7 swimming pool (purified through filters with sea salt widhout the bother of the chlorine) with outside shower, for only guests’ use and relax. The gardens provide, also, plenty of garden furniture: 2 gazebos, sun-beds, tables, chairs, sunshade and a playing and barbecue area.

The perfect environment for tuscan natural beauty and relaxation, visitors to the holiday house Torre del Guado can enjoy relaxing swims in the pool or pleasant hiking and cycling trips around the stunning tuscan landscape of the tall valley or along the Tiber shores.
**For those of you who prefer to indulge in sporting activities:
Trekking, Biking, fishing at 3 km, Windsurfing on the near Montedoglio lake ( 7 kms), Golf (18 holes) 6 kms away, Horse-riding plus school at 2 and 6 kms tennis courts and and five-a-side football at 2 kms, a very equipped modern gym and professional instructors, sauna, Turkish bath... at 3 kms, in Sansepolcro.
The Adriatico sea at approximately one hour driving.

* For people interested in finding a real bargain in the world of "haute couture" (womens and mens) there is, nearby, a small, exclusive shopping centre called The Mall, factory outlets of Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and other top designer labels. Not far away there is a similar Prada outlet.
Details on the apartment Gelso (4+2 sleeps):
78 square metres, 3 rooms, on two levels and decorated in soft pastel apricot tonalities, lovely ambience, spacious and well equipped. Living room with 1 Sleeper Sofa-Queen, fireplace, dining table for 6. The upper floor consists of 2 bedrooms ( 1 queen sized and 1 smaller twin ) with a wardrobe space, and a well appointed bathroom with shower. It has its own private outdoor dining area with sunshade. Sleeps 4 +2: 4 are the guests accommodated in the beds. Other 2 guests can be accommodated on the double sofabed.
All the apartments are tastefully and stylishly decorated thanks to a carefully selected colour scheme and enjoy plenty of natural light along with panoramic views of the tuscan landscape. Each self catering accommodation has its independent entry on the ground floor from the garden, own fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen-corner (4 plates, gas, refrigerator, ice compartment, electric oven, toaster..), 1 bathroom, with shower, bidet, sink, WC, and all the benefits of modern technology ( Satellite TV, individual washing machine and heating ). All linens, including swimming pool towels and tables cloths, fans and windows mosquito-nets are provided. On demand available: free Highchairs, iron and hair dryer Wireless connection, Baby-cot (extra € 7 per/day). The sofa/divan, present in each liv-room, can be transformed into another double or single bed.
