Other places in Arcipelago de La Maddalena

The island of Caprera was lovely. Some beautiful beaches and bays. The sea was the most beautiful turqoise you have ever seen.
Snorkelling was interesting , water extremely clear and warm enough in May.
/>Nice beach with a pizzeria just past Maddelena town
Lovely friendly, helpful people, little english spoken
roads are bendy and narrow - need to be prepared
La maddelena is small and easily explored. Has a lovely relaxed local feel to it. Harbour is interesting to browse around, souvenirs quite expensive though.
Very unhappy with islet between caprera and La Madellena as although the snorkelling and beaches and views were gorgeous, it was being used as a major fly tip - we watched people come and do it. The area was so littered with large scale rubbish ( from overflowing bin liners strewn around to old washing machines and fridges) it was disgusting to see. This was our only disappointment about our stay and the reason I am writing this is that I hope something will be done about it.
