The house

This Residence is located in the little town of Rasiglia (680 m. a.s.l.), along the river Menotre, which for a long time has been source of wealth for the local residents, fuelling its dyeing factories, wool and wheat mills. Today you can still see some interesting remains of industrial archaeology. In the village you will find a bar, a grocer’s, the post office and a tobacconist. If you would like to dine in a fine restaurant, or need a petrol station, first-aid station, or a pharmacy, you’ll just need to go 3 km farther.

Only 18 km away from Foligno, this Residence is very central if you want to visit the main artistic Umbrian cities. Assisi, Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, Trevi, Spoleto and Perugia are at short distance. There’s nothing more rewarding than the quiet and silence of the evening breeze blowing through your apartment in the Residence Menotre when you come back from a busy day spent discovering our fine art cities.

Outdoor sports enthusiasts will be happy to experience a number of activities in the nearby Park of Colfiorito and Sibillini National Park: from long strolls to bike hikes, from rafting to hydrospeed.

One double bedroom, one bathroom with shower, a roomy kitchen with living/dining room with satellite TV and one full-sized double sofa bed. All windows have mosquito screens. Independent entrance and private al-fresco dining area with table and chairs and deckchairs for sunbathing.

Great property, very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent location. Very good and easy public transport links.We had a great week without a car. Tonti family made us very welcome and were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. Good welcome pack of goodies. Lovely area for walking and sightseeing. We are telling our friends.

I had a wonderfully relaxing week at the apartment which was comfortable and just exactly what i had been looking for. Easy bus connections to Foligno and beyond.

This was our first extended visit to Umbria and we found the apartment in Rasiglia to be a perfect base for exploring this lovely area.
Our hosts, Paolo, Luciana and Corinna were the best we have encountered in our travels. They made us feel right at home with their generous welcome pack, helpful information and kind invitation to participate in the olive harvest. During our two week stay we found the apartment to be very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped.
