After a long drive from Nice and a winding road to the Colleto estate where Olivia is situated we were thrilled to found our selves at an amazingly picturesque location. The views are simply stunning and the grounds in which the villa is located are stunning too. Tuscan figurines are dotted about the beautifully maintained and cared for gardens, which gives it a truly magical quality. The villa itself is cosy, well equipped, and private. Every window has an amazing view you simply could not get bored of looking out of the window! Anna-Maria is always a phone call away if you need anything, or advice on where to visit. Coreglia is only a few minutes away, and the people who live there are so friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and want to come back as soon as possible.

The villetta was located after a wonderfully scenic route through the Tuscan hills and valley. It is in the characterful medieval town of Corgelia di Antelminelli, which we returned to numerous times for its wonderful food. And now onto the best bit - the villa itself. Nestled on a mountainside, the views are breathtaking, the air is delightfully fragrant with the scent of the surrounding lavender bushes and rosemary. There are also elegant olive trees dotted all round the apartment. We could not believe how luxuriant the outdoor jacuzzi was, so many different comfort settings. Outdoor jacuzzi + champagne + sunshine + mountain air + romance = heaven, as far as Im concerned. The locals were helpful and good company, have I mentioned how good the local restaurants were? My advice would be hire a comfortable car to get there and prepare for real luxury and relaxation. My wife is a writer and she found the environment a real inspiration for her work. As a relaxing, romantic break it really was the tops. Were going back in a months time and well explore the local area more, though Im sure Casina Olivia will drag us back to its comforting aura. The property is in an idyllic location with incredible views. Anna Maria is wonderfully helpful and one of the nicest people we had ever met - great to have at the end of the phone when you are trying to work out how the spa pool works. We couldnt fault the property, and would only advise others to do their food shop after they arrive as the cupboards were full of olive oil, balsamic, tea and coffee which others had left behind, and we then added to!
