La Gemelle is a beautiful self catering villa situated within stunning surroundings, its peaceful and well maintained - especially the pool.
If you are looking for somewhere stunning to get away from it all and just relax quietly by the pool then this is the place for you. We found it accessible for groceries, quaint Italian village life, but also not too far from a beach (40 mins) and other facilities such as larger towns for shopping, and/or the autostrada for easy access to Florence & Pisa for example.
This property exceeded our expectations, and the family who own the property are very warm and hospitable. We would certainly return, and if this is your first time you will not be disappointed.

We had a slight problem finding the property, but once we did we were very pleasantly surprised. The great views of the surrounding mountains particularly impressed us.
The two properties are situated at either end of the garden and are nicely apart from each other being seperated by the lovely pool, so taking friends or grown up children is no problem.
The owners - Aldo and Maria-Pia together with their son Matteo were excellent hosts and extremely friendly and helpful. They love it when you speak Italian to them and they inturn try their hand at English - Matteo being a good translater.
