This is a really lovely villa beautifully restored and very tastefully furnished. The photos dont do it justice and it was better than we expected. The local agent was helpful and efficient and the kitchen is well equipped (no microwave or electric kettle though - if those are important to you). The main staircase and other steps within the property are fairly steep so unsuited to the very young and very old, and you do have to mind your head on the doorways! There is a small garden and paved area with lovely views of the valley and loungers, chairs and table to use. You can just see and hear the main road at the bottom of the valley but we didnt find it particularly intrusive. Overall a great house in a delightful location.

Fantastically renovated villa in an isolated rural hamlet. Interior well renovated and equipped. House attached to working farm cottage next door, but very private. Wonderful views of surrounding hills from upstairs, but limited views from dining room. This is real rural Tuscany. No pool, but the nearest town of Pieve Santo Stefano (10 min drive) has full sized and welcoming public swimming pool (remember your swimming caps), as well as good restaurants frequented largely by locals. Easy access to Assisi, Arezzo, Cortona and Lago di Trasimeno. East coast and Florence a little further, but still possible in a longer day. A relaxing get away from it all kind of place.
