The property was just the right size for three ladies and the outside seating area was lovely. Sammy (the on-site guy) was amazing, he was so helpful and friendly. We loved the pool too!
Some softer pillows and a little warmer shower would have bumped my rating up to excellent but we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay - thank you!

The small villa was adequate. Some small hitches, no hot water in the shower, the shower head was tiddly and what there was of water trickled through which made washing hair and rinsing it rather a lengthy procedure. Our overhead fan in our bedroom did not work so they got us a small desk one. Having said that, the overhead fan in my sons room worked but was completely ineffective so we got another one for him too! The kitchen was small but workable and had most working tools available although it could have done with a makeover to look more clean. As usual the pillows were horrible - lucky we had taken our own. Shortage of clothes hangers as well. Overall though it was pleasant. It is in a property of three small villas but we were the only people there so had peace and quiet. The children were fed up with the pool by about 11am every day and we were told that it was a 10 minute walk to a nearby public beach. As we did not want to venture into the unknown we drove to nearby Forty Thieves (five minutes) every day which is a beach bar and restaurant and laid on the beach near our table while the children played in the rock pools and went on camel rides during low tide and swam in the sea during high tide with the bar and restaurant right there for ordering drinks and food. Very nice break.

The property was clean and well placed within easy walking distance of the beach. We really liked the friendly security staff and the cottage manager, Laurence, was incredibly helpful and efficient. It was a quiet, secluded spot, although the local people came to sell their produce and tours, but also only 20 minutes from a large town with a good choice of restaurants. A great property for those who like to be self-sufficient and also want to get to know the locals. The kitchen could have done with being better equipt and a few home comforts like toilet paper and books on the area would have been appreciated.
