La fontaine à eau est un plus appréciable.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday, yet again! This is a most relaxing holiday villa, close to amenities as well as the local beach. There was a slight problem with the water (which could happen anywhere) , but once this was sorted out, all was good. We are already planning our next holiday!! Thank you once again for allowing us to re-charge and relax!

Both villa no1 and no 37 gave us all the amentities and more than one could expect.
I was a little disappointed that we were not able to get all the tv channels in villa 1 that we able to access in villa no 37.
I would like to point out that in villa 1 in both shower there were lights over head however we were unable to locate the lighting for these.
Overall both villas were exceptional and well maintained. The cleaning service provided and having fresh bedsheets was an added bonus.
Our party had the same two villas last year and had insisted again on having the same two.
Thank you to all the staff that made our holiday so much more memorable.

And once again..... we spent another beautiful and very intensive month at Tamier Nr. 1. Each time we return to Mauritius, we feel the warm athmospere at Tamier 1. The delicous welcome menue exeeds our expectations. As my brother got married these days, we came much closer to the mauritian people.
Of course were coming back!

This is a wonderful villa with a homely atmosphere. Very centrally situated and lacks in nothing. Clean, bright and airy as well as very safe. We have had another wonderful holiday at Le Tamier and cant wait until for our next holiday durign 2011. Thank you for the wonderful service!

staying at the Villa Cool in Flis en Flac proved to be the best travel decision we ever made.The quiet peaceful location was an absolute blessing and did by no means mean complete isolation.
On the contrary, the villas luxery location is set in beautiful surroundings and the beach in a walking distance made things even more comfortable.
Yes my wife andI got considerably more at the villa Cool than we booked and paid for,thanks to
mr. Norbert and his lovely wife Lauriane......

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cool. It was a 3 storey building in the Le Tamier Complex. The villa had 4 bedrooms, 3 toilets, 2 showers, a large kitchen with every piece of equipment you could wish for. There was more than adequate crockery, pots and pans to do any cooking if desired, but why cook when you can taste the local cuisine which you can walk to in about 5 minutes. The lounge also was well equipped with electrical equipment and comfortable furnishing. We never used this however, as we sat on the nice terrace for breakfast. The villa is on a corner, so seems a larger plot than some of the others. It is also well positioned for most amenities, banks, bakery which does lovely fresh bread, shops and restaurants. Leslie Chinese is just around the corner, which has outside eating and was really good value and just a few minutes further there is the Sunset Garden, The Black Steer steakhouse (lovely steaks), Mei Yan Chinese, which has a lovely setting in gardens, and walk further around the beach, you have numerous restaurants and a few bars. We tried The Twins Restaurant which had entertainment on and was a really good meal, also in nice surroundings in a floodlit garden or you can venture to the strip of Hotels, about 2 kms, which comprise the Hilton and Sugar Beach, more expensive for food, but lovely setting for something a little special. The villa had 3 sizeable balconies and a smaller balcony for drying clothes. The pool area is lacking in sunbeds, but I believe this is being addressed, but why use the pool when you have some fantastic beaches just down the road, about 5 minutes walk, and it is so difficult to know where to put your towel, as there is so much space. We toured around and looked at some of the other resorts, but I think Flic En Flac has everything you could ask for.

We just want to say that we had the most wunderful time in Tamier 1 weve ever had. We got much more than we expect.
There were three weeks full of activities around the island. Hiking to the top of Le Morne, walking through the wonderful Black River National Park and Tamarind Waterfalls. Visiting the lighthouse in Albion and the British Tower in Tamarin with Norbert.
We are missing this warm and familiar athmosphere. Certainly we have recommended it to friends. Tamier 1 we come again... Rita, Urs, Monika, Elsi and Richie from Switzerland

The location is very nice, beach is not too far away. Very friendly staff around.
The equipment is very good and satisfying.
We would recommend this accomodation for more persons because the bedrooms are big, and the kitchen would also meet the expectations of the guests.

Nice appartment complex, clean and well-kept. Attention of owners to anything we need was something extraordinary.
The Flic-Flac place is an exellent place for snorkeling (also for kids) plus there are few nice restorants in the area like domain Anna and SunSet garden

This Villa is probably the best equipped and serviced in the Le Tamier complex. The owners are dedicated to providing a service second to none
Our stay which was a little over two months was most enjoyable. I have been five times to Mauritius in the past 6 years and this is one
of the best villas I have stayed in. The complex is very lush with vegetation, the pool is large, the beach is a 5 minute walk. Other close amenities are bus stop, taxi, Internet cafe, numerous restaurants and a Spar supermarket.

Nous étions 2 couples : 4 adultes et 2 jeunes. La location correspond parfaitement à sa description et a permis l’indépendance de chacun avec ses 4 chambres, 2 salles de bain et 3 WC. La villa est propre, très bien équipée (petit plus : la fontaine à eau fraiche) Le ménage est fait deux fois par semaine.
Les propriétaires sont charmants, disponibles et prêts à rendre service.
Les premiers magasins d’alimentation, boutiques de souvenirs, restaurants, banque sont à 5 minutes à pied, le complexe commercial se trouve à 10 minutes.
Une belle plage, un club de plongée se trouvent à 5 minutes à pied. À l’intérieur du lagon, dans 1,50 m d’eau, on peut voir des poissons multicolores et se baigner sans problème. Bref, la villa est très bien située et nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Agréablement surpris par l'accueil réservé par les responsables, un petit buffet froid et des boissons qui nous ont permis de nous restaurer après notre vol sans avoir à se précipiter au supermarché de proximité ; ce qui nous a permis de nous reposer et faire la visite des lieux ...
l'appartement était conforme à nos attentes et tous les occupants venant d'horizons différents ont été très satisfaits . Résidence calme et sécurisée pourvue d'équipements adéquats ; piscine, tennis que nous avons apprécié -
nous pensons y revenir dans le futur si Maurice se retrouve dans notre destination.

Compared to other villas we rented before, Villacool is certainly the best place we ever stayed in Mauritius. We based our choice on the excellent reviews this villa had, and we were never deceived. The villa corresponds exactly to its description on this website, well-equipped and less than 5 minutes walk from everything (public beach, supermarket, shops, banks, post-office, etc.) The villa and the surrounding complex are well kept, the housekeeper comes twice a week and the owners are really friendly and helpful. We had excellent holidays in that villa and should we go back to Mauritius, we will surely go back to Villacool! We highly recommend this villa to anybody going to Mauritius.

Séjour du 2/7/2007 au 26/7/2007.
Mon épouse et moi sommes des habitués de vacances à l'étranger , principalement France et Ile Maurice.
L'accueil a été excellent dès notre arrivée à Villacool (Complexe Tamier no 1) de la part des propriétaires : présentation du bungalow , du complexe.
Le bungalow est très spacieux , nous étions 4 (2 adultes + 2 enfants) mais convient aisément pour 6 personnes avec ses 4 chambres, 2 salles de bains , 3 WC.
L'équipement est vraiment excellent à noter TV satellite (plusieurs chaînes européennes), excellent mobilier, beaucoup d'armoires pour le rangement dans les chambres, cuisine super équipée en surplus une machine à laver (intéressant pour notre séjour de 4 semaines).
Très bien situé à Flic-en-Flac , près des magasins de première nécessité , de la plage , d'arrêt de bus (Port-Louis est à 40 minutes), de banques.
Les propriétaires ont toujours été disponibles quand nous en avions besoin.
Nos vacances ont été excellentes, nous y retournerons.

We spent really phantastic holidays at Villacool le Tamier1. We got a very good service and would like to recommend to our friends.

The villa is well located and quiet (close to shops and beach). The pool is really nice and the property really well maintained. The villa is clean and a housekeeper is coming twice a week.
Owners are very friendly. They gave DVD and toys for our 3 year old daughter. A lunch was ready in the fridge when we arrived the first day. They gave us very good tips for visits, restaurants, etc...
The owners are really reliable. We recommend this villa and especially for families with kids!

We found a very clean, spacious and well kept villa with lot's of space inside. The villa was cleaned twice weekly, the caretakers were very friendly and helpful. The complex in which the villa is situated is well kept too, due to a cyclone some days before our arrival the pool had to be cleaned which took 2 weeks and was accomanied by some noise in the morning. Otherwise it was very quiet, no dog barking (as in other places in mauritius), no loud parties during the nights. Security was very freindly and helpful too. Distance to the public beach is 5 min walking distance to the nearest beach however swimming there is only possible at high tide. At low tide the water is only knee deep and there are lots of coral debrits around. about 500m further along the coastal road there is better swimming and cheaper options to get drinks and local food. We found it a very comfortable, secure and quiet place and would definately reccomend it espacially to families even with smaller children (our daughter was 3 1/2 years old)

Villa Cool was really value for money. The owners were very helpful and friendly in everything. The Villa was well equipped, cosy and clean. Location was good and the pool area was nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone who is travelling to Mauritius.

If your thinking of staying in Flic en Flasc then thgs is the place to stay. A very very warm welcome was given and the villa was very well equipped with all the mod cons, excellent air condiotioning, unlike other places who claimed to be. The complex was a haven of tranquility, but close enough to shops, supermarket and the buddah cafe that probably sells the most authentic cuisine in town for a very reasonable price. The beach is also quite near, if you can pull yourself away from the swimming pool, that is an ideal tempreture and not over chlorinated. Next time we are in Mauritius we will base ourselves here, easy to get into all the main towns and great for one day trips around the Island.If its free book it, if not- then its worth changing your dates.

Great location, close to beach, bars
and shops. Villa very spacious and clean. Owners very helpful and meet myself and party on arrival and also prepared lunch for us.
Would recommend to friends as good value for money great location and very clean.
