Well equipped one room apartment (plus bathroom). Clean and modern. Well located in terms of amenities. Dive centre and italian restaurant around the corner, supermarket and pizzeria down the road at the entrance to the public beach.
Perhaps a note that, while the sea is on the opposite side of the road to the compound, the beach is a good 5min walk away. So not ideal for small children.
Positives: Appreciated the starter pack of milk and coffee when we got there, as well as the friendly welcome. Also the beach towels that were provided in addition to the regular ones.
Negatives: bed was very, very hard. Internet signal was a bit weak, some apartments had no access at all.
Notes:
^ They can arrange an airport pickup which is cheaper than the outrageous official prices charged at the taxi-chit desk in the airport.
^Washing machine located on top floor, as well as a sunning deck.
^ Try to get an apartment on the top floor. Each house has three apartments and the bottom and middle apartment have the most exposure to noise of people coming & going.
All in all, would recommend it for a low/medium-budget stay. Value for money, good location and friendly staff.

Small apartment with all the amenities needed. Note that while the sea is across the road, the public beach is a good 5 min walk along the coast. Directly opposite the water is a little murky and there is no real beach, just rocks.
There is a dive shop and a good italian restaurant around the corner, with a small supermarket and a pizzeria up the road, where you enter the public beach.
Appreciated that there was a starter pack in the kitchen, of milk and coffee. Also that there were beach towels in addition to the towels in the bathroom.
If travelling with small children, I would recommend somewhere closer to the beach, but for anyone else, this is perfect for the price.

Definitely a nice experience for us. We had to book at the last minute and Abi, the owner was very helpful. We felt at home and could not faulter the accomodation. We rented a vehicle and unfortunately did not make use of all the facilities as we were all around the island visiting sites and shopping...... The apartment is close to all amenities. We felt safe and pampered by Marlene the "Concierge.
Thank you for a great stay.

Aqua Sur Mer was unambiguously a really exellent choice for our honeymoon in Mauritius! Great value for the money! It was very clean, and very european: we had absolultely everything we needed. Belive us, its far better than on the pictures! We loved the beautiful garden enviroment (palms) inside the complex too. The kitchenett is very usable, had everything you will need. There is a maid service too, with Mylene, who was always very helpfull and kind to us and Abi the owner is a really cool and friendly guy who helped us a lot from the airport transfer (to and back no matter the early morning time) and showing around the neighbourhood and the facilities. The beach is near, and its one of the best in Mauritius. Pereybere and Mon Coisy is not an option, believe us. And try out a real italian pizza at Marcos!

The property was very secure, and was well maintained and manicured. The apartment itself was modern and had all the amenities needed for the week. Also it was well maintained daily by the cleaning staff. All in all it was a great place to stay for the week, and would definately come back again if were ever in town.

I have just stayed in Aqua Sur Mer Complex for 17 days and would thoroughly recommend it to everyone. It was immaculate, with everything that you require for a self catering holiday. Even when you arrive there is welcome pack in the fridge..nice little touch!
The location was great, a walk away from the beach, a few good bars and restaurants close by too and very easy to get to other places on the Island.
I am female and was travelling alone and felt completely safe in and outside the surrounding area of the apartments...the local people are such wonderful people.
Hire a car I found it easy to drive around and with so many amazing places to see..its a must.
The owner Abi was very charming and helpful as was Mylene the lady who comes to clean the rooms...she is so lovely and full of information about the island.
There is also a lovely pool which is a great area to meet other holiday makers and residents.
I totally loved it there and will definitely be back..very soon for sure.

we, stayed for 17 nights here, 27 sept until 14 oct 2009. Scrupulously clean and well appointed does not do justice to these apartments, everything a self catering traveller needs is here, Clean linen, towels ,beach towels .hair drier ,micro wave, all utensils, crockery,tv and video player, plus freeview, didnt try the wifi connection. Its the little touches like the tea bags, the water and a couple of beers in the fridge, the mosquito vapes, the washing up liquid, Mylene the maid who does a very good job keeping the apartment just nice six days a week. Outside the pool and garden area are cleaned and tidied six days a week, although not olympic size the pool is more than adequate.hire a car, and drive around the island there is lots to see and do.

Abi the owner is a good guy & very helpful. The appartments are so clean & in an ideal location. You can not get a better place to stay in Mauritius. So if its a week or like us seven it is a great place to stay. Thanks Abi
