Casa de Suenos is located on the private talc-white sand beach known as Playa Paraiso, just a quick 15 min. drive to Playa del Carmen. Playa Paraiso Beach has no rocks or coral and is perfect for snorkeling, jet skiing or professional cloud tracking! It takes about 2 minutes to walk from Casa de Suenos to the sea shore. Playa Paraiso is located just a short drive south of Cancun international airport and is abundant with the natural beauty that Caribbean dreams are made of. Each year over 100 of the endangered sea turtles make their nests here and during hatching season baby turtles are set out into the crystal blue sea.
Casa de Suenos is a tranquil Mexican beach style villa with a separate lock off option for traveling parties less than 14. The villa décor is lively and colorful with spacious rooms and comfortable accommodations. The villa covers over 4,800 square feet of interior space with many balconies, porches, patios and garden areas perfect for entertaining friends and family. There are ocean views from some of the 2nd floor balconies. CASA DE SUENOS’ LOCATION WAS CHOSEN FOR ITS “AWAY FROM IT ALL” PEACEFUL VIBE BUT STILL HAS A CLOSE PROXIMITY TO ALL THE ATTRACTIONS OF THE AREA. Water sports, like wave riding and snorkeling can be enjoyed on the beach just a short 2 minute walk from Casa de Suenos.
There are several natural parks close by like Tres Rios and Mi Hotelito which offer jungle tours, horseback riding, atv tours, lobster dinner cruises, candle light dinner on the beach, boat rentals, water skiing and wave riders just to name a few. Day trips can be planned for visits to the Tulum Ruins and beaches, Akumal Lagoon snorkeling, Pamuul Beach Restaurant, Xcaret natural amusement park or shopping in Playa del Carmen. Transportation or car rental for any type of excursion can be arranged with pleasure by our concierge service.
Casa de Suenos has a beautiful private pool and tropical garden. There is a deeper end and a convenient shallow end that is perfect for children. The patio is wonderful for relaxing on our chaise lounges with a favorite novel and a cool beverage. The 2 kitchens that this villa offers make food and snack prep easy while spending a lazy afternoon at the pool.
Just north of Casa de Suenos is the 5 star spa resort Grand Mayan Palace. Guests of Casa de Suenos can purchase a day pass for 50 usd per person. This pass enables each person to spend 50 usd on whatever they desire whether it be food, drinks or at the gift shop. The Mayan Palace has the most expansive and luxurious pool in all of Mexico with a collection of 8 restaurants and poolside cafes to enjoy. The Mayan Palace also offers a world class golf course that is a splendid activity to add to your morning routine. The Mayan Palace is a 10 minute walk from Casa de Suenos and also has 2 convenient stores where last minute or forgotten items can be purchased.
The Iberostar Playa Paraiso 5 star Spa Resort is a 10 minute walk from Casa de Suenos to the North. Iberostar offers an array of day and night all inclusive passes that can include all food and beverage depending on the pass purchased. Passes average 50 usd per person. Iberostar also has an 18 hole magnificent golf course that is available to guests of Casa de Suenos.
The nearby town of Puerto Morelos is just a short 10 minute drive north of Playa Paraiso. Puerto Morelos is a quaint fishing town with cafes, restaurants, neighborhood grocery store, church, and local shops. Every day at 1100 AM the fishermen return from the sea with the catch of the day to offer to travelers and neighbors. Chef prepared gourmet or simple meals can be arranged at Casa de Suenos or if you like just let us know and we can arrange reservations at a local restaurant in Playa del Carmen or Puerto Morelos.
The most beautiful beach in the world is Maroma beach and is located just about a 20 minute beach walk north of Casa de Suenos. Maroma resort is private however at the entrance on the highway there is a small convenient store, a piano bar restaurant and an art gallery. This is just a 5 minute drive from the villa.
