A beautiful ancient riad built during the beginning of the 20th century offering a natural cool weather in summer, built around an open central courtyard. It is containing a little garden with plants and a Mediterranean Cypress which is home to birds. This garden gives serenity and a natural cool weather to the whole riad especially during spring and summer. The riad has a very spacious bedroom which is embellished with traditional Moroccan ornaments. It also has a smaller one, one very spacious living room, another living room open to the indoor garden and the courtyard of the house, a kitchen and a dining room, a traditional Moroccan bathroom heated with wood and provided with hot water as well as a toilet. There are plenty of places to relax, the romantic open living room in the courtyard overlooking the stunning little indoor garden and the rest of the embellished courtyard, the large living room, and the wonderful roof terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the sunset over the Koutoubia mosque which you can see from there. My partner is also experimented in hiking and sports in mountains. There are many amazing mountainous regions at less than one hour by car/big taxi from Marrakesh; all material is provided by us. We organize regular hikes to these places in case you are interested.

The Riad is ideally situated at the start of the medina which makes it about 15 min walk to the heart of the old medina with the Arabic architecture and 10 min from the Gueliz with the French architecture. In the medina you can visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Museum of Marrakech and the souks about a 10 minute walk through the colorful and vibrant souks to the famous Jemaa el Fna Square. The owners are happy to take guests through the fascinating labyrinth of the Medina streets to help new arrivals to get their bearings and thereby get the most out of their stay. In the Gueliz, you can visit the majorelle garden which is a twelve-acre botanical garden and artist's landscape garden.

Marrakech airport is a 15 minutes’ drive away. There are three golf courses at 20 minute taxi drive away.

Marrakech is inland, the nearest resorts of Essaouira and Oualidia being a 2 hours’ drive away. There is, however, a Nikki Beach and Plage Rouge, the next best things!

There is vehicular access almost up to the door of the Riad, which is unusual in the Medina, and offers a ground floor double bedroom which is suitable for those with mobility problems.

Children are welcome as part of a full Riad reservation. The kitchen is fully available for the use of guests. Washing machine and dryer are also provided.

Towels and pool towels are provided. Towels are changed daily. The property is cleaned from top to bottom every day.
