The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

very nice clean and excellent organised quite new property. we were 3 families and spent wonderful holidays near sintra. small shops are close by foot. but to explore all the treasures of sintra (wonderfull castles with beautiful gardens, lovely close beaches, nice restaurants) you need a car. the house, with two pools (one covered, wich allows you swimming even in the fresher evening), was well equipped, including new espresso machine! the cleaning of the house was regulary and perfectly organised. we loved the house and the region.

Twelve of us stayed at Casa Dos Bambus for eleven days- 7 adults and 5 children under 6 years. It is an excellent villa in all respect and very safe for the little ones who had a lovely time. The villa is very well equipped with a lot of thought put in to meet the needs of the children. Marilia, who managed the villa, was really friendly and very helpful. The villa is within easy walking to the local shops in the village where you can buy everything you need - very good meat, fish and vegetables. The beaches are good and a visit to Sintra is a must. I would certainly recommend the villa to family groups as well as groups of friends.
