It is within walking distance of the supermarkets and other shops. It is 5 minutes' walk from a large car park. It is also possible to park in La Poudriere Lane. The maisonette has 3 entrance doors. Entrance door 1: Go up the steps to the verandah and enter through the door, directly into the centre of the downstairs area. To the left is the lounge, to the right is the kitchen and between the two is the dining area. Entrance door 2: the kitchen will be on your right, and on your left is a tiled staircase leading to the upper floor. Entrance door 3: This leads directly to the lounge and on the immediate right is a downstairs shower room and toilet with washing machine. The tiled staircase leads to a large, bright, open area upstairs, with doors leading to an upstairs balcony, large upstairs shower room and toilet, a large twin bedroom and a large double bedroom.

Victoria (sometimes called Port Victoria) is the capital of the Seychelles and is situated on the north-eastern side of Mahe Island, which is the main island of the archipelago. Attractions in the town include a clock tower modelled on that of Vauxhall Clock Tower in London, England, the Courthouse, the Victoria Botanical Gardens, the Victoria National Museum of History, the Victoria Natural History Museum and the Sir Selwyn-Clarke Market. The town is also home to the national stadium, while the inner harbour lies immediately east of the town, around which tuna fishing and canning form a major local industry.

Beau Vallon is a bay on the north western coast of Mahe. It is located 3 kilometers from Victoria. Beau Vallon Beach, which stretches for miles, is a very frequented and maybe the most popular on the island. It is known as a base for diving and snorkeling due to its clear waters and coral reefs. Beau Vallon is the site of a bazaar of small food and souvenir stands every Wednesday and Saturday evening, year round. During the afternoon you’ll find local fishermen selling their fresh fish and farmers selling their tropical fruit in the shade of the big Takamaka trees. Beau Vallon also hosts a variety of restaurants including the iconic white building of Al Mare, and the pizzeria Sun Coco which is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. Across the bay is Silhouette Island and North Island.

The Victoria Botanical Gardens (also called Mont Fleuri Botanical Gardens Seychelles) was established in 1901. Today the Ministry of Environment is responsible for the Botanical Gardens and has its headquarters in it. The main objective of the gardens is to contribute towards the national efforts in environmental education, plant conservation, landscape management, passive recreation and eco-tourism. Some of the main attractions for tourists are the Coco de Mer trees, giant tortoises and fruit bats.
