Lovely quiet situation, excellent views, really enjoyed the walks and subsequent dip in the pool.

Weve just returned from a great week at Casa Azucena and would thoroughly recommend this property. The owners are excellent hosts, thoughtful but not intrusive and the location is perfect for people wanting a low key break away from it all. The high points were the fantastic views from the terrace and bedrooms and the attention to detail from the owners - nice products in the bathrooms, milk in the fridge for when you arrive. The rental is actually the ground floor apartment of the villa, with access straight out to the pool and terrace. The owners live in the main part of the house so are on site and happy to help. We would certainly consider staying at Casa Azucena again. The only thing we would do differently is to take DVDs with us as the TV doesnt have a signal but there is a DVD player.

The villa was fantastic. Its in a great location, tucked away in a quiet valley in the mountains, yet high enough up the hill to keep the sun until late in the day. The local village has everything you need, but should you require a larger supermarket, there is a Carrefour in Gandia (15 minute drive).
The villa is well-appointed, with two capable kitchens and plenty of living space. The pool was clean, clear and refreshing and the BBQ meant the local seafood had the treatment it deserved! There is a unbroken concrete road to the very top of the mountain (~850m), which is quite a climb but rewards you with a fantastic 360 degree panorama.
We had a relaxing and trouble-free stay at Casa Azucena and will definitely be returning.

An awesome stay because of a wonderful house, accurately thought and well-organised !
Even for 12 people, the villa has never been crowded !

Very big and nice villa, could be very good for up to 10 people! In very quite village on the mountain (almost on top of that :) & a bit hard to park car out of doors. It was very easy to find villa with owners instructions. All needed stuff was there, pool was clean, but could be dangerous because half of pool is very deep even for adults (no depth signs around it).
Also, dont left any food at kitchen table - ants could steal it!
We had very good time at this villa, I recomend it for family vacations!
