The location was great. Great views. The town Bubion and the surrounding countryside was a treat.
Unfortunately, the apartment was a little shabby. It started at the front door which was dirty. The first thing we did was sweep the mouse (?) dro ppings away from the front door. All the windows were dirty.
Every door in the place grabbed on the floor or door jam. After 5 days that wears a bit thin. The place could do with a handyperson for a few days.
There was a smell I couldnt trace. I tried to keep the bathroom door shut thinking it was coming from the toilet, but it couldnt be closed from the outside.
The first time I had a shower I threw my dirty clothes on the floor. When I picked them up to take them outside they were covered with dust and hair.
The old TV could only pick up one scratchy channel.

Would like to say that I was positively satisfied when I arrived at this property.
Perfect size for a couple and is exactly what it looks like on the website. The view was fantastic and an added bonus having a fire place for the month of December (when we went). The location, again perfect. Just a stroll into the small town of Bubion... and if you like a short hike up & downhill, the other two villages above and below it are within a couple of miles walking distance.
The place was clean, tidy and we were made to feel very welcome!
The perfect place to stay to feel like you are one of the locals.
Had a great time, thank you9

We had an amazing holiday in Bubion. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was excellent value for money and I cant think of how it could have been improved in any way. It was more than we could have hoped for and a perfect Alpujarran retreat. We just want to go back and spend some more hours sipping wine on the balcony, gazing at the gorgeous mountain views! :-D

The casita is located in an excellent and very quiet position, with an outstanding view of the the valley and mountains opposite. the local supermarket is only about 2 minutes walk away, and sells a wide range of foodstuffs at very cometitive prices.
We were extremely pleased with the casita - very clean, tidy and with all the essentials for our stay, including adequate linens, towels and tea towels.
We arrived by bus from Granada (only 10 euros return!!), and the local contact met us off the bus in Bubion. The property is located in a quiet position and, with such an exceptional view from the terrace, we sat there for all our meals.
The casita is an ideal propety for a couple of even a small family, as it has a bed-sette in the lounge. Certainly an ideal place for a quiet holiday with a view......so take note all you stressed up people in the UK.
Thank you for letting us have your lovely casita for two weeks.......and exceptional value for money!

The property is well situated, with great views over the valley. It was clean and well equipped, and was perfect for the two of us.

A simple & clean apartment. What really made the difference was the friendly service from the owners. As a non-driver the organising of lifts to and from Granada was enormously helpful. I'd recommend this property to walkers. The location was terrific too.

A fantastic time away, with lots of extremely lovely walks, both short and long, with some of the most stunning scenery you can imagine. You don't need a car - transport is extremely easy by coach from Granada, and there is enough to see in the near vicinity (lovely local museums, a few good places to eat, etc.) to keep you occupied for a good while (we were there for 9 days). Buying a good map is recommended for the walks as the local system of paths can be quite confusing.
Definitely recommended!

A great little casita in an excellent location - we had a lovely week up in the mountains. Lee did a great job of looking after us too.

The casita was lovely and cosy with stunning views of the vally. We only stayed for 3 nights before returning to Granada but it was a great base for two big day walks. After arriving rom the hustle and bustle of Cordoba, the piece and quite was just what we needed. Wea rrived late in the eveing and were met by the Keyholder who was helpful and there were basic.s provisions in the casita...bread, eggs, milk etc. A little supermarket just up the steps from the casita had most other things you could expect from a mountain village shop. All in all a lovely place to stay and we would definately stay there again.

All brilliant - really lovely but could have done with some instructions on the fire venting system...and maybe some more details of nice places to eat, things to do in the area etc. Lee was great, meeting us with keys and visiting during the week, very helpful and friendly - would reccommend!

The apartment is lovely, very well designed having a stylish, comfy and romantic feel. The beautiful vista is spoiled a little by litter and rubbish in the field outside the apartment.
Owner reply:
Helen unfortunately stayed after a few days of windy weather where litter had blown into the field. The field is usually spotless as the farmers goats often graze there.
