The villa was lovely but you need to have a car as villa is up a big hill. Electrics tripped out if we used dishwasher, this was only problem because we were a large party.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at Vista Del Mar, the property is very spacious, bright and airy with lovely grounds and a great swimming pool. There were 6 adults and 2 babies in our party and we found there was more than enough room for everyone, the villa is very well presented and maintained to a high standard. It is situated above the marina area, which is approx 25minutes walk and another 15minutes on to the old town, the walk down is not too bad but back is up some very steep hills ( not too bad though we managed it with a double buggy) and at night it is very dark so I would recommend taking a torch. Eating out in Denia is very varied ranging from upmarket restaurants in the marina to typical spanish tapas in the old town (we found not alot of english is spoken in the old town) the cost to eat out is excellent value for money an average 3 course meal for 2 with wine at the marina was 70euros or tapas in the old town approx 40euros. Whilst staying here we were looked after by Julie who was also excellent, she was there to answer any questions we had, change the sheets and towels and even replace the dishwasher which was broken when we arrived - she and the owners were both very conciuos that everything was up to standard and we enjoyed our holiday Thanks to everyone for a great time!

We have visited this house twice. Beautiful house with plenty of room for big families. Nice pool area and garden.
You need a car when staying here. Two cars can easily park on the property.
The service on place is exellent! Easy to get in touch with and quickly response whatever the problem was.
Denia is a lovely city and the beach is wonderful, but often crowded.

The Villa was really well proportioned, with 8 adults and 4 children easily fitting in the upstairs living areas during the daytime without feeling at all cramped- leaving the downstairs living room as a quiet haven for childrens bedrooms and/or quiet time - grandad was also employed as a galley slave in the downstairs kitchen! excellent showering facilties with great water pressure and combi boiler. The kids loved exploring the gardens and of course making full use of the good sized pool. Denia is bustling town with a good mix of varied beaches, restaurants and the hustle and bustle of a spanish port. surrounding area is beutiful and would Would definately recommend a day out by car to explore the mountains - note hire car is necessary anyway, as to reach Denia on foot is a bit of a trek.

A party of 11 of us stayed here in Aug 08 for a week. The accomodation is absolutely fanstastic with plenty of space for all , great grounds and a fantastic pool. there are alot of steps if you have toddlers and our two little boys had accidents falling out of bed and bumping heads on the bedside tables.. beware! also the electricity does short when certain appliances are used at the same time ( happened 3 times in the week) but this was easy to resolve with the tripswitches. This by no means detracted from the overall enjoyment of the holiday! dont be put off!
The beach is a walk downhill, and a long slog back up, so a car is very useful for longer trips and trips to the numerous supermarkets.
we ate in most nights with room for all of us sitting around the table on the veranda. there are plenty of cooking utensils, pots etc.
denia is a great town that comes alive with locals at night. the whole resort feels spanish rather than a uk tourist trap. lovely restaurants and bars, especially around the marina area.
wed definately recommend it to large parties who want a relaxing break in a great location.

Villa Vistas de Mar was a beautiful property, well run and well appointed, in a beautiful location. We were an extended family group of 12, and stayed for 2 weeks. The Villa is a long walk from town (about 1/2 hour), but can be managed without a car if you are in good shape and enjoy walking. If not, a vehicle is probably necessary. Although there were two TV's there was only one satelite card, allowing only one TV to be used at a time. This was difficult with children aged 6 - 16. Although the house was very well maintained, there were a few things that were broken when we arived. It's probably a good idea to make written note of this on arival, as there was a bit of confusion, although easily resolved, about who was responsible.

I stayed at this property in May with some friends...it was more than we expected, the villa is beautiful & the weather was great too.
We cooked most nights as the kitchen is very well catered & the view from the balcony is lovely so sitting there to eat in the evenings watching the sun set was fantastic.
We wandered down to the Town & the port most nights which took about 10 minutes.
I would really like to go back to Denia as you can see that it is rapidly expanding and developing... the Buddha bar is brill!!
Hopefully we will be returning to Vista Del Mar in the near future.
Thanks for a great holiday.

We stayed at this property in June 2007 - 8 adults and 3 small children. The villa itself had everything we needed - it was very well furnished with all the necessary pots and pans for cooking. Air-conditioning in each room was very welcome - and with 2 bathrooms upstairs, and 1 downstairs, it worked out very well. The outside balcony was excellent for relaxing in the evening looking out over the port of Denia.
The pool was in immaculate condition, my only comment was the pool tiles are a bit slippery when wet, for little kids.
The property is very well fenced, and closing the gate on the driveway meant the kids could not go wandering off.
The villa is located in a very nice suburban area of Denia, perched on a hill. It gets very good views down to Denia, and great sun all day.
Denia itself isn't the nicest of towns, but there are pockets of very nice areas. The marina is great, with a very good selection of bars and restaurants. Also the beach directly down from the villa (about 10min walk) is excellent for kids. It has beach umbrellas, decks chairs, and a cafe/bar on the beach for the all important cafe con leche. The beach is groomed each morning, and the swimming is very safe. There is a small supermarket across the road from the beach, and in Denia itself, the main supermarket is huge with ALL you could possibly need. The fresh fish/meat sections are amazing.
Definitely recommend a car for this villa - just makes things a lot easier. There is parking within the villa grounds for three cars. There is also a lock-up garage, but we used this for storing beach things, buggies, and inflatable pool rings and whales.
Overall a very good holiday, and we were very well looked after by Susan at Homes in Safe Hands.

Beautiful villa! Everything we had hoped for. Spent three months and would have to say Denia is the prettiest spot on the Costa Blanca. Walked to town several times a week but would suggest you have a car as well. Pool warmed up by April and was enjoyed by all. The outdoor Naya was were we spent most of our time and enjoyed the BBQ and cosy wicker furniture. Excellent & cheap train service to Benidorm and Alicante for the theme parks and shopping. All and all we loved it and would love to come back again... Sue & Clinton were very helpful and attentive and looked after all our questions.

The villa was fabulous with lots of space both inside & outside on the terrace where we spent most of our time! Only downside was a musty smell in the downstairs bedrooms, probably from the washroom, which had really bad smell. Location not really within easy walking distance into town especially at night - car essential!
Owner reply:
It was discovered that there was a leak from the shower. Was repaired and is ok now

Villa Vistas De Mar is a lovely villa furnished to a high specification. The interior provides a cool tranquil retreat and it was an excellent choice for our party of teenage girls and parents. The villa was generally well equipped although with a large party things such as bigger pans would have been helpful! Although the centre of Denia is within walking distance it would not be a pleasant experience in the heat of the day. From the photographs on the website we were concerned that the villa may have been a little isolated but in reality it was in a completely residential area with neighbours all around. That suited us but if someone were looking for peace and quiet they may have been a liitle disappointed. The pool was great and well looked after during our stay. Overall for our party I would say it was definately five star accommodation

The villa was immaculately presented and was well stocked with all the essentials such as crockery and soft clean towels! The view from the comfortably furnished terrace and the pool meant we had to tear ourselves away to explore the area! The coastline just north of Denia has some fantastic, unspoilt beaches.

I stayed at Vistas de Mar with my family and friends. We had a fantastic time. The villa was immaculate and had everything you needed, the ice machine in particular was great, in the red hot sun and also the air conditioning was a great advantage for the hot nights. We loved staying there and will definitely be considering staying again in the future. You need a car without a doubt to reach the local beach, shops and restaurants.

Vista Del Mar, Is 1 of the best villas I've stayed in. I can't recommend it enough. You have to have a car to get around an there's some lovely bars an place's to eat just 5 mins away.
