we had alovely time at the villa, help was always at hand if needed by Jackie and Nick. A wonderful mountainous sanctuary! The villa has all required facilities, plenty of room for two families. The views, terraces and courtyard are fantastic for sitting, eating and relaxing. Just be aware if arriving late evening to obtain a few provisions as shops dont open until 10 am ish and nearest one is 10 mins drive down the mountain. Hungry kids aren't pleasant!! Fab holiday! thankyou jackie and nick xx

Nik and Jacqui gave us a warm welcome when we arrived tired and weary after travelling with 2 very small children. The property is large and enables children to have bedrooms away from parents - hurrah. The children loved the animals and the courtyard is a great enclosed space where toddlers can play safely. The weather was cool when we arrived and so we were provided with wood for the stove and even hot water bottles, although they were dispensed with by the end of the week. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have just returned from our second visit to Casa Caballos and we were just as impressed and relaxed as last year if not more so, as Nik, Jackie, Rosie and George are now more like old friends than just the house owners.
We will be back again!

Very well adapted for children -- from small details such as a box of toys to larger ones like having the pool up a track and behind a locked gate.
The lay out of the house was well thought out, and the interior was bright and welcoming.
Jackie and Nik were great hosts, helpful and concerned without being on top of us (they live across the road).
All-in-all a refreshing way to show a holiday home can be child-friendly without sacrificing any style or comfort for the adults.

We were completely blown away when we arrived at Casa Caballos, the photo's really don't do it justice! The whole house has been done up very nicely and we felt immediately at home.
The drive through the mountains guarantees spectacular views when you arrive, not least from the patio which looks out over the mountains and is the perfect place to enjoy a barbeque, breakfast or just a couple of drinks.
Nik and Jackie are fantastic hosts and made our stay very pleasurable. We will definitely be coming back next year!!

We have just returned from one of the most relaxing holidays ever - the only problem is that we only booked a week and I could have stayed a lot longer! Nick and Jackie made us feel very welcome and were quick to help if needed. Our elder daughter loved the pool, all the animals, and particularly the donkey ride on the last day. I have already recommended the place to a few people...

We had a fabulous time at Cassa Caballos. The hosts, Nik and Jackie were very welcoming and helpfull. fantastic facilities for children and the villa was enough distance from the pool so we didnt have to worry all the time that the children were too close to the pool. Really easy to dive to from the airport and the countryside and views from the villa were magnificent. Local towns were lovely and friendly and tapas galore! We hope to go back again

We had a lovely time staying at Casa Caballos.
Nik and Jackie make you feel very welcome(So do their 2 cats and 3 sorry 5 dogs).
The farmhouse is just as we immagined a Spanish farmhouse to be but with all mod cons!
The area is very quiet but within a couple of km there is plenty to do - that is if you can drag yourself away from the pool and enchanting views.
We would definatly recomend the casa and the area - in fact we have to all our friends.
Keep up the good work!!

Generous Hosts & warm welcome, but this is now a busy marketplace so they will have to pay more attention to cleanliness of the house / pool if they want to achieve recommendations.
Owner reply:
Thank you for your marketing ideas. The house was handed over in spotless condition and the pool was cleaned everyday. In addition, when asked the renter said that everything was fine and that they had really enjoyed their stay?

The Farmhouse is very spacious and comfortable and has a very pretty courtyard for dining al fresco, and a wonderful terrace with views over the surrounding countryside. Nik and Jackie are excellent hosts, and the atmosphere is relaxed. This is a perfect base for a family holiday, loads to do in the area if you want to, or you could easily do nothing at all, as Casa Caballos is so enchanting.
