Our beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi-detached property located minutes away from the stunning Mar Menor sea - a natural lagoon encompassing the La Manga strip which provides a low-tidal beach with water temperatures typically 3° higher than the normal sea.
The accomodation, completed in Jan 2006, is perfectly located near several high class golf courses (the new Roda golf course is 5 minutes away, plus the world famous La Manga club (15 minutes away)). Also within 10 minutes walk are- supermarket, new luxury Spa complex (on Roda Golf), the town of Los Alcazares as well as plenty of bars and restaurants. Murcia Airport is 10 minutes away and Alicante is 45 minutes.
The house is beautifully constructed and has been equiped with brand new, quality furniture.
The roof terrace is a generous 29 m2 which provides a secluded and roomy place to sun bathe and enjoy a bbq or 2! On the roof terrace is now installed a 5 person heated spa with water and airjets.

The area of Los Alcazares, Costa Calida, Mar Menor
The villa is ideally located for many reasons-
10 minutes from Murcia (MJV) airport, which has daily fights via many budget airlines. (NOT under flight path!)
45 minutes from Alicante airport
15 minutes relaxed walk to beaches (there is 17 kilometres of beaches on the Mar Menor!)
Bars and restaurants within 5 - 15 minutes walk.
Los Alcazares is 5 minutes walk with beach bars - both European and Spanish style.
The area benefits from a nice balance of Northern European tourists as well as local Spanish inhabitants. The area is also popular with Spanish holiday makers - they must know what they like!
Fortunately the area is not covered in high rise towers( the government have limited buildings to a maximum of 3 stories in the region). Therefore there is little of the 'bucket and spade' louts that can be found in other Spanish coastal towns. This does not mean that there is little to do as the area attracts a quality tourist that want a relaxing holiday coupled with plenty of activities at hand.

La Manga
Overview: There are 3 18-hole golf courses at La Manga Club, including the championship South Course and the scenic West Course. The North course was totally refurbished last year and is brand new and absolutely superb. In the heart of La Manga Club, a 1,400 acre sporting paradise nestled between the low hills which separate the Mediterranean from the sea of La Manga del Mar Menor in the South East of Spain. The resort is set amidst lemon groves, bougainvilleas and majestic palm trees that cover some of the finest golf courses in Europe.

Mosa Trajectum
Overview: With over 800 acres it is one of the most ambitious golf-sport villa resorts in the region. This outstanding new development boasts a 27 hole golf course and many installations to practise your favourite sport: basketball, soccer, paddle, horse riding, swimming, gymnastics, athletics etc. The championship course (PGA EuroPro Tour Championship Final, October 2004) runs through the resort, through a spectacular and challenging landscape with a variety of plants and trees, cacti, open rock faces and a multitude of water features.

Las Ramblas
Overview: spectacular, elevated tees, narrow fairways and lightning greens. This is a great test of golf and will be a memorable game. Las Ramblas means the old river beds, you will see plenty of these during your round! This 18-holer is on mountainous ground which makes the course very interesting for players who like to take a few risks. As it is very mountainous, it calls for difficult strokes. It is worth mentioning the many trees that surround the course, and the water hazards. There are slopes are all along the course and although some of them are very difficult, they make the game more attractive and interesting. The course is not too long and has wonderful views. Accuracy is required.

Villamartin
Overview: The variety of its 18 holes, due to the excellent design, will allow you to enjoy a round of golf on this course as you will have to use the 14 clubs from your bag. Its magnificent greens are superbly kept.
