Lovely clean spacious property on a well kept complex. Would definitely stay again

Nice spacious clean apartment in Dinastia complex. Lots of room and storage, very large balcony.
If I could suggest a stereo or radio that would make the apartment even better, or if not dont forget your ipod speakers like we did!
There dosent seem to be anyone managing these apartments and we were unlucky to have a load of kids playing football and making a lot of noise every day just below the balcony, even though there were clear signs that football was not allowed.
Having said that I would return again as this was just our bad luck!
Best place for food is Locanda italiana on Mirador strip, great food and lovely staff, then on to Mikeys bar for great entertainment! Make sure you visit Siam Park, great fun day out!

Very nice and I would book again, my only negative comments would be the sheets on the single bed were dark green and felt a little old, and the shower needed a good clean.
Owner reply:
Thank you for the feeback and I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
I apologise about the green sheets. Basically a previous guest had an accident and the cleaner had to "loan" some sheets for your stay before some more were purchased. I have also organised a spring clean, including the shower.
Thanks again for the review and its great to hear you would return again.

Notes for owner of property.
Property was excellent however it may be in your interest to check attend to the following:
When the kettle has been boiled and left with some water in it, the kettle re boils the water everytime it reaches a certain temperature. Needless to say this is dangerous and expensive on electricity. The door to the balcony has no safety marking and is therefore very easy to walk into as it is clear glass. I would prefer if the towels were changed during the week. This lets down an otherwise excellent apartment

I would recomend this appartment to everyone. The size of the rooms are impressivly spacious, the appartment is it is near to all local ammenities with a supermarket accross the road and pletny places to eat and drink, Favourite Bar Taylors and best place to eat El Brasero.

Went to the apartment in the first week of November, and was a bit worry due to it being the first apartment I have booked . We wasnt disappointed, the holiday was great , along with the apartment . There were 6 people in our group and the apartment was perfect size for us still . Granted 2 people have to stay out on the sofa bed , but if you are a family this is no problem . The apartment has everything you need . It has lovely views and is in easy distance of eveything you need . There are bars and restaurants in walking distance , and to the centre of Americas and playa vista is a 5 euro cab journey . Truly enjoyed this holiday and will deffently hope to return to the apartment in the future . The negative was you have to pay for the sunbeds around the pool , this did not bother me or my family as it was only 2 euro a bed . The pool area is a very good standard and the goodfellas bar in the apartment complex is also good . If you are thinking of going to the apartment do not hesitate it is a fantastic apartment .

we were thoroughly delighted with our apartment in tenerife- we opened the door to a vast apartment and found everything to be clean and in working order (saying that, the only tiny tiny disappointent was that the jaccuzi bath wasnt working but it was still a huge lovely bath :-))
would def recommend

The property was well equipped although we did not get our linen changed as we expected during our 2 week stay, and the sweaky beds really do need sorting. We would say it was a little longer than 10 minutes to the better beaches, as the ones at Los Cristianos were not that suitable for sunbathing on, but we were quite capable of walking a little further towards Las Americas. I would recommend going at the end of October as we had a bit of a heatwave, even though we were told that it was usually 10 degrees cooler than the mid 80s degrees that we had. If you shop around you can find a wide variety of bars that do meals and are value for money and at varying prices, so you could make it a really cheap eating out experience, there is also a wide variety of restaurants.
All areas of the complex were very clean and the staff at Goodfellas Bar were so friendly and helpful.
A good holiday
Owner reply:
Thank you for the feedback and I am glad you had a lovely time.
For the benefit of all future renters, please be advised that on a recent visit we have changed all the beds and replaced them with new ones. So no more squeaky beds!
We have also redecorated and bought some new furniture too. We really do try and keep it as well maintained as possible and do listen to feedback from our guests.
As for your mid term linen change - you may remember I mentioned to you that my cleaner was away and therefore we were going to give you 2 x sets of linen at the start of your holiday. (And this it what we did).
I would have to disagree with you about the los Cristianos beach - "Las Vistas" as it is called is one of the nicest beaches around!!
Thanks again and hope you will be able to make it again int the future.

This Dinastia apartment was great, we had 2 adults and 4 children (ages 5, 7, 10, 12 ) it was lovely and clean as we stayed for 10 days half way through we were given clean linen and towels. We found it very spacious and the en-suite bathroom was huge great sized jacuzzi but shame it never worked, beds slighty squeeky too but quite comfortable. All mod-cons with the bonus of having a washing machine and with children that was really handy. We were provided with a fan and ceiling fans in the bedrooms but as we went in August (very hot) it would have been better if the apartment had air-con.
Located in a great posistion, quiet area, fab views, great location. Goodfellas bar friendly and reasonbly priced for convienent snacks and drinks. Short walk (20 mins) to the harbour where you find plently of restaurants serving all kinds of different foods, bars, beach, small play park and shops. Definately would recommend, fab holiday gorgeous weather and intend on going back soon.

D201 Dinastia:
Excelent property in an quiet part of los Cristianos which both my family and i loved. Well maintained apartment and complex albeit situated at the top of a steep incline but we expected that and was not a problem even with a pram!
Situated across from some lovely properties and a handful of bars and restuarants with a much bigger selec tion 5 mins further on down the hill.
All in all a wonderful holiday for us and the apartment was first class and we will be back in the not too distant future.
Big thanks to Shaun for all his help and advice!!!!

I have just returned from avery restful week at this apartment with two other females. The apartment is very spacious and clean. There is everything you need during your stay. The balcony is also spacious and the sun is on it at the end of the day. Goodfellows bar by the pool serves very good food. Just behind the apartment block is a supermarket which came in very handy and a few eating places which were really good. I would also recommend the starter pack offered at the time of booking as that cold beer was just what the doctor ordered!
The only down side were the beds. They were so squeeky everytime one of us turned we all heard it, even that became a joke! I would recommend this apartment to anyone and hope to revisit again one day.

We have just returned from this appartment and i can honeslty say it was perfect. Ideal location, fantastic and spacciuos accomodation. Staff at pool area and Goodefellas helpful and very friendly. The number we had to contact for any problems was well manned and the staff extremely helpful. the overall service and support as well as the accomodation was outstanding.
we never had problems with the kareoke bar or the bins been emtptied.
i would love to stay here again and advise anyone thinking of going to Tenerife to consider this apartment

Fantastic apartment, very spacious, safe worked for us fine. We always got the sun on our balcony late afternoon - perfect for chilling out getting ready for the evening.
Pool area great and always plenty of sunbeds available whatever time of day. The pool was heated which was a bonus for the kids. Pool bar served good cheap food and drink.
Karaoke bar across the road not a problem - you're on holiday people should be out enjoying themselves and I don't think 12.00 is unreasonable.
Location perfect with easy access to bars restaurants and the beach. Recommend Bojangles and Summer Nites for great entertainment and great atmosphere.

d201 was a very nice apartment, very clean and plenty of space for our party of four adults. the complex was kept very clean and the pool was cleaned every day. The poolside bar offered good food but did not serve olives!!. if i had to be critical the beach is a lot further away than the stated 10 mins. The complex was secure and security maintained late night walkrounds to ensure noise was kept to a minimum, there were plenty of sun loungers to go round and you did noy have to get up at 6am and reserve them. I would definatly recommend and go back to Dianista again
Owner reply:
Many thanks for your feedback.
Depending on which beach you go to, I have walked the closest one in about 10 mins.
Glad you have a lovely time and hope to hear from you again.

We had a fabulous holiday, thoroughly enjoyed by both adults and kids. The apartment was huge and was absolutely as described on the website. I was a bit concerned about security, having been burgled last year (in different apartments) but was totally reassured by the high standard of lock on the front door and the 2 sets of windows locks (shutters and main windows). The back of the apartment faced the street and a lively karaoke bar but this did not affect us sleeping at all. We loved this apartment and Los Cristiannos and have already recommended it to friends and family. Hopefully see you next year!

A very nice apartment for two couples to stay together but have independance, having the two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
A tip for any future renters, press floor 4 in the lift to get to D201 apartment.
On the negative side the bedrooms are situated right at the back of the apartment and suffer from a little road noise especially when the bin men come.
Owner reply:
Thank you for your feedback.
I must admit I have never heard anything from the road at the back from the apartment / the bedrooms.
The bin men come once a week - just like they would at home.

We came as a family of 5 and when you go on holiday with children you worry about what to expect when you arrive, we were very very pleased with our appartment. It was lovely and clean, modern and in a great location. Only ten minute walk from nice bars and restaurants. Th e pool was nice but too cold in Jan as it wasnt heated but the kids braved it. Lovely friendly staff in poolside bar. Would reccomend to everyone. Our holiday was made by the little bar just across the road called Shakespears, ran by great people, was tiny but great family atsmosphere, we would end up there each night and the kids would go on the Kareoke before returning to our lovely apartment. *****Lovely location, great apartment!

The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Both bedrooms were roomy and lots of storage space, the bath in the en-suite is big. The balcony was a bonus with some lovely views and spectacular sunsets.
The walk down the hill into the port was very pleasant even pushing two push chairs and the taxis are cheap for the return journey. D201 is situated in a great part of Los Christianos, close enough to get to everything, yet just far away from all the ports hassle and bustle. The only niggles we had was the night entertainment was quite noisy, but that's only cos we have little ones. Also the bed could use some oiling. 10/10 for quality and price. Many thanks.

This property was exceptionally large and well furnished. Being a family of 5 the 2 bathrooms were very useful and the Jacuzzi bath a welcome treat.Beds were very comfortable even the sofa bed and bedding crisp and clean. Good location within the complex overlooking the pool and easily accessible with the many lifts. My only suggestion and not a complaint would be an upgrade of the crockery a couple of the plates were worn and one of the pans dirty. It would have been a nice gesture to of had a few essentials available such as washing up liquid, bin bags and light bulbs a couple of the bulbs were out.
all in all though a fantastic apartment and holiday
Owner reply:
Thank you for the feedback and I am really glad you enjoyed your stay.
Sorry about the lightbulbs, we have purchased some more and left them in the apartment. Sorry if there wasn't any washing up liquid - this is normally left over by the guest before.
We supply as much as we can for our guests but it is a self catering holiday and there is a supermarket right opposite. (60 cents for washing up liquid, 1 euro for a lightbulb).
Thanks for your suggestion about the crockery - we have now changed some of that.
Thanks again for the feedback and I know from your subsequent email to me that you are hoping to come back next year. Hope to see you again.

Sounds a bit dull, doesn't it - 'D' Block Dinastia? But actually, Dinastia is a smart apartment complex consisting of 4 main blocks numbered A-D. It's practically brand new and it shows! All blocks are designed in the 'Moorish' style, rendered with large, oval arches and curved-wall extensions to the frontage to form the large patio area of each apartment. The complex is punctuated with beautifully kept planted areas, consisting of palms and other tropical plants. Practically every surface other than the walls and roof, inside and out, are tiled with granite or terracotta ceramics to keep things cool. What's apparent is that the complex is not only very well built and finished, but is very well managed too. The central, communal pool area is looked after by a dedicated team and each morning, the entire pool sunbathing area is swept, mopped and disinfected. The pool itself gets similar treatment and is swept clear of any debris every morning and the water quality/cleanliness is monitored and treated, as necessary. The Spanish start and finish work earlier than the Brits, so all this activity starts at around 7a.m., and everything is ready when you wake in the morning. There's even a night watchman around the pool area who will ensure that you or your kids don't have any nocturnal pool accidents! Tenerife is volcanic and can be very "hilly" so some footpaths and roads can seem quite precipitious. Dinastia is build up the incline of a mountain slope and is arranged in a quadrangle style. Despite some steep gradients, disabled access is really very good with ramps and lifts throughout. The best wheelchair access is through the front entrance. The slopes make the floor level numbering seem a bit odd at first (-2 to 7, in places) but it's easy to work out (and the view from the top floor is magnificent!) All lifts work faultlessly and are kept very clean. Facilities in and around the complex are excellent with bars, supermarkets and restuarants just across the road. There's also a great shop where you can hire a car, book a tour, change money, go onto the internet, buy a book, etc. We recommend the Mount Tiede, half-day tour and the Submarine adventure! More nightlife is available in Los Cristianos centre - just a short taxi ride away (only 3 euros, excluding tip). There are new shopping complexes being built all over Los Cristianos so even more options to explore will become available in the future. Los Cristianos itself has a different atmosphere to its neighbouring resort of Playa De las Americas. Dinastia after midnight is very quiet except when the refuse disposal lorry arrives at 2 a.m. EVERY morning! The whole of Los Cristianos is practically brand new and consists more of apartment complexes than traditional hotels. My familiy of 5 stayed comfortabely in Dinastia for 2 weeks and we loved it. Highly recommended for families OR groups of friends.
Owner reply:
Dear Michael,
Thank you so much for such comprehensive feedback - it is much appreciated and I am so glad you had a lovely time.
Just one point - we've never heard the refuse lorry whenever we've been there as the bins are a fair distance from the apartment, outside the complex on the road. However I understand the location of these bins are being changed anyway.
See you next year!

Stayed in this apartment with my wife, teenage daughter and her friend for 10 nights. This really was a 'home-from-home,' very comfortable with all the amenities needed. Washing machine and english t.v. channels were the icing on the cake!
Only a 15 minute stroll from the harbour and all the shops and restaurants, but far away enough to not suffer from unwanted noise at night.
Pool area lovely, usually o.k. for sunbeds though did get a bit touch and go for the last couple of days, however 2 with the apartment sonever without!
Goodfellas pool bar does lovely food and they're a friendly bunch too.
The large 'Spar' supermarket at the nearby 'Passarella' shopping centre has opened in the last year and is a 'boon', however local supermarket over the road is o.k. for most needs.
All-in-all, this apartment was very much as described, far more comfortable than we hoped. We had a lovely holiday here, though if you're a single party attempting to drink Tenerife dry this probably won't be the complex for you! Everyone else will love it.
Faults - 2 light bulbs not working....yes that really is all I can criticise !!
Wouldn't hesitate to book again...STRONGLY recomended.

Very modern, spacious property with a large baclony. We were really impressed with the complex. The pool area was immaculate and the people who ran the pool bar were very friendly.
Service offered by Tenerife Holiday Homes (the management company) was exemplary.
