Whilst this is advertised as a beautiful house, a better description would be rustic. The outside space and pool are absolutely lovely, but there are some shortcomings in the house. The bedrooms are tiny with little or no storage, the bathrooms are severely lacking in storage space and finishes such as tiling. The outside steps to the upstairs area would be an issue in wet weather and the covered areas are not water proof. Having said that, we had a lovely relaxing time at the villa, with fabulous views and amazing peace and quiet.

This year was our fourth visit to Villa Minyo. We are four adults and the villa size is fine - we do two up two down. The pool is a good size and there are fine views . We appreciate the privacy and quiet - but with access to shops and the sea just a 5 mins drive. Son Servera is a nice little town with good restaurants/market. Arta, Cala Rajada and Sineu offer good days out - also plenty of historical interest and walking in the area. Car essential.

We were enjoying the property very much, the pool is excellent and big, the place is very private, the furniture is simple but clean. The view of the house and garden from the pool is really very nice - I would show this photo on the rental system pages. The owners were pleasant and helpfull. But I would definitely place a simple notice with the name of the house at the road as the other houses have. We did not have a courage to try to follow the "field" road without any property name.
Very nice holidays. Thank you.

July 2010: Villa Minyo is a nice, basic house, with a large garden and swimming-pool in the country-side. Very private, hard to find with the received directions (tip: At Son Servera follow direction Cala Millor At the roundabout just ouside the town, follow direction Port Verd (Carretera de Comellar Fondo). After about 1,5 km you pass a up-going round on the left-hand-side. Its the next driveway on your right (cant see the house from the road).
Vieuws are great. Location is near enough to town and supermarkets. Car is useful, also because of distance from Palma Airport. We might come back here. Hope the poollights are working next time...

A great property. Clean and well stocked. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would come again. Quiet and private with wonderful views.
The directions to the property were very, very confusing. I was sent two different sets of instructions, and was thankful we had not arrived at night time. The worst thing was the property has no name outside so we drove up and down for half an hour not knowing which gate was ours. Please put the name of the villa outside for future guests.

Basic no frills property which would benefit from a bit of TLC. Pool was very good size. Mariona the owner was very attentive and responded very quickly when we needed anything. WOULD BENEFIT HUGELY FROM PARTIAL AIR CON INSTALLATION EVEN IF ONLY on THE UPPER FLOOR. Also a sign to identify the property more easily on arrival would be good. Location very good with easy access up and down the coast.

We have loved spending two weeks at Villa Minyo, our 3 children aged 7, 5 and 3 have had a brilliant time playing for hours in the gorgeous pool. The house and garden were spacious and the outside stairs were no problem as we all slept upstairs. The stunning views, location and privacy of the villa was perfect for our family. The kitchen is well equipped and we found everything we needed. With the lovely beaches nearby (Cala Aguilla was our favourite!) and the resort of Cala Millor only a 5 minute drive from the Villa it has been a great holiday. Marianna and her sister were very friendly and accomodating and we would indeed return for another holiday in this villa.

The villa was great. The pool excellent. All the amenities were fantastic and as others have said the pictures do not do it justice.
The downside although manageable was the upstairs bathroom. I think the showers would be better tiled and they need glass screens to stop all the water from going everywhere instead of shower curtains. To be honest we could not use the upstairs bathroom.
The owners were very helpful.
We would certainly return and thought the villa was exceptional value. We all had a fantastic time

Amazing holiday in a very well equiped villa. As mentioned in previous reviews the photos on the web site do not do the villa justice - definately need to include photos from the bottom of garden of the pool looking onto the villa. The pool was a good size. Mariona and her sister were more than helpful during our stay, especially when we had a power cut in the area and needed water to sterilise our baby bottles. A car is essential but the supermarket at Son Servera was only a five minute drive. We enjoyed day trips to Cala Radja & Atar. Thank you for a perfect, relaxing week.

We have just spent 11 days at Villa Minyo and had a great time, the children really enjoyed the big well maintained swimming pool. The villa was very clean and well kept. Mariona and her sister were most helpful and nothing was to much trouble. I agree with the earlier reviews- the pictures on the website just dont do this villa justice.
We enjoyed it so much we are just going to book it again for next year!!!!!

We spent a lovely week at Villa Minyo. The pictures on the site do not do it justice - take a photo from the bottom of the garden! The setting is idyllic - rural, private with fabulous views of the coast and mountains. The garden is big and the pool a good size. The interior is modern, spotless and the kitchen a joy to work in (much better than mine at home!). We were four adults and there was plenty of room. The outside steps to the upper floor were no problem, they are well lit and private. A car is essential but the supermarket at Cala Bona was only a five minute drive with Cala Millor a few minutes further. Thank you for a perfect, relaxing week.

Very pleasant stay in a private villa with wonderful views. Hardly used the downstairs lounge area as upstairs lounge and balcony were sufficient. Kids lived in the swimming pool which was great fun. On arrival, we found it abit tricky to locate the property in the dark but Mariona and her sister were more than helpful, and during our stay (rescued us when we'd locked the keys in downstairs area!)

This was a really nice villa very clean and the pool was great. The views from the villa are fantastic and we would recommend this villa to anyone. The property is only a short distance from the local supermarket in Son Servera. Cala Millor, Cala Bona, Sa Coma and S'illot are all within 10 minutes drive which have good restaurants and beaches. We would recommend hiring a car.
