Local Airport at Hagfors (5 km) with daily flights to and from Stockholm. Karlstad has an international airport, University, cinemas and shopping centre and is one hour's drive away.

It is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday with children or without. Everywhere you find lakes and rivers where you can swim and you can freely explore beautiful pine forests and rolling hills, on foot or by bike, stopping for coffee and a bite to eat at the many little traditional coffee houses along the way.
There are many outdoor activities and places to visit.
There is a moose park near Ekshärad (15 km), a bear park at Orsa, (200 kms), and Father Christmas's summer residence ("Tomten i Halla") at Forshaga. The local Hagfors town (5 km) has three supermarkets, restaurants and pizza places as well as a good number of local shops.
